American tourist here traveling (thankfully) with a Hungarian family. I spent 5 days here off-season. The hotel was fully sold out for many days during my stay. First off, the basics. For me magic place, wonderful owners, homemade breakfast, close to the balaton. Wonderful garden with pool, jackuzii, sauna -outside. You can make barbecue, there is big table, benches to sit. I didn't know what to expect before arriving here, but wasn't disappointed. I really liked the breakfast and dinners! There were lots of vegetarian options, home made products as well and nice palinka! :)

Friendly staff. Places are large enough. The pool and whirlpools are really nice. The beach of the Balaton lake is about 15 min walking from the camping, this is a payed beach but worth a visit. The toilets and showers are clean enough. However, there is no hot water to do the dishes and the showers are also not really hot.

Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty. I can only recommend this hotel.

Basic place but lovely. Ideal for short stay

If it didn't cost a night in this guesthouse, how much it costed, I would say that it's a great guesthouse, but considering the high price, it's not worth it. The walls are very thin, every night someone will disturb you, and since there is no one at the reception at 10 pm, you have nowhere to complain. Wonderful guesthouse with great service. We had a wonderful holiday, in the guesthouse you can not be bored. Pools, wellness, billiards, table tennis, playground. Amazing place to stay with extremely nice And helpful staff (thanks for everything Tímea, Andras, Denis). The place was so nice and quiet. The room was clean, fully remodeled and with new furniture (and it smelled SO good). Also, the recepcionist gave us a warm welcoming and she was so nice to us, which we were thankful for after a long trip.

The Outside doesn't look so nice, this is the first view! But if you meet the Girls by your Check-in, the are so friendly, you see your Room, nice and clean! You can walk in 5 minuets to the Lake Balaton, to visit the Beach, find a good spot to eat and much more. Also the Breakfirst was good, and the parking spot is direkt in front of the Hotel. Short stay We stayed 2 nights, the location was excellent, breakfast was good, sadly the wifi was not good at all on the 2nd floor. I would recommend to friends just update the wifi for thr future please.

Spacious rooms and good beds in a sleepy area. There is a cafe and restaurant close, but hours of operation may vary. Short walk to the lake, parks, or center of town. More comfortable furniture than many resorts of this type.

It's a fair hotel with a fair price. I'd like to see that there's available WiFi in the hotel rooms but I wasn't so lucky.

The only disadvantage of this place is location, but not if you are driving by and have to stay for a night. Good breakfast, big room with mini kitchen, quiet place, friendly staff. All this for 48 eur.

The hotel location is pretty good. Staff speaks German as well. The rooms are very clean but could use a 21st century update. Unfortunately the towel policy is a bit odd. We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area. I would give it 5 stars of it was a 3-star hotel, but they claim to be 4-star. As a 3-star hotel, I have no complaints about them. They are very reasonable priced. The staff is very polite. The rooms are clean, and it is the closest hotel to the lake. Other 4-star hotels in the area are much nicer inside and have better food.

If you wanna have the closest and most comfortable room to the lake then you found it.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Literally 3 minutes from the lake. The staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The meals are in a form of a buffet with a wide variety of choices. All on all I highly reccomend this place!

The rooms are average, but OK on the whole. Food selection is quite limited, especially during the evenings, and there have been occasional quality issues (e.g. one evening the French fries seemed to be leftovers). They charge very hefty prices for all drinks. Infrasauna not working, the other saunas are OK. The pool is quite small.

Live in Budapest, this is written more for tourists to Hévíz and the Ensana Thermal Aqua. Easy to access by public transport direct by Volan Bus from Budapest, or train from the Budapest Déli or south station in Buda, to Keszthely, then frequent buses to Hévíz (10 minutes). Not the first time in this hotel. Food, SPA, territory, cleanliness in the room - everything was at the highest level. The staff takes great care of the guests, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about the vacationers themselves.

Very good. We have been there many times. Thermal pools are new and very nice. The rooms are newly decorated and beautiful. Food and drinks are at a solid level. The hotel is right next to the small square in the city center, which is very convenient. It's not far from Lake Hévíz and there are many dining options nearby. The bar and restaurant recommended by the front desk lady has a resident grandfather who sings local songs and is quite good. There is a spa that is very relaxing. The children love it.

This is the most cost-effective hotel in our entire trip, with the lowest price and breakfast and dinner included. The hotel has hot springs, but we didn't prepare for hot springs because we were a little hesitant about mixed bathing for men and women. The room was very big.

The wellness area is nice and tidy, but other than that, I can't say too much good. What made me write a review is that one of the ladies with glasses in the restaurant regularly publicly criticizes the guests who have just left, which I think is extremely humiliating.

Very satisfied. The room is a bit old and simple, just like ordinary hot spring hotels in China, but clean, with complete facilities, and no slippers. The restaurant is delicious! The hotel itself does not have hot springs, but it has SPAs. It is also very close to the Heviz Hot Springs, which is two or three minutes' walk away. There is a parking lot. Only adults are accepted.

We stayed for one night, the room was on the second floor. We really liked it. The only thing is that the shower is only overhead, and there were no shower caps, which is uncomfortable for guests with long hair.

Hotel situated in driving distance of Lake Balaton. We have used it for one night sleep while traveling there. Booked via Internet 10 minutes before arrival (past 22:00), room was ready as we arrived. Equipment was visibly older, hovewer everything was very clean, this is also valid for shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual buffet.
