Wonderful family holiday at Hotel Katalin! Our kids loved the huge water castle and giant slide, while we enjoyed the pools, sauna and jacuzzi. The buffet was outstanding with plenty of delicious food and desserts

American tourist here traveling (thankfully) with a Hungarian family. I spent 5 days here off-season. The hotel was fully sold out for many days during my stay. This hotel is very, VERY child-oriented
* Most of the time there was no lifeguard on duty at the pools and I rarely ever saw anyone at the first aid station. * As I mentioned above, there are a lot of things to do if you are a kid and like water activities
It is reasonably clean considering that but there is a definite lack of adult activities. The hotel itself is near the beach which is the primary redeeming factor in my humblest opinion

All you can eat grill buffet in a very relaxed atmosphere. Price performance is right. Any time.
There were 2 light bulbs in the house. There was no battery in the TV remote control. On the other hand, there was breakfast, which we were only told on the second day. It was not listed at the time of booking
Accommodation is very simple, but will take you for a night or two. In the garden, unfortunately, I had to walk among garbage bags and wine bins because the apartment was right behind the restaurant
The owner is German but speaks Hungarian. The apartment is simple but clean. However, about 5 cats belonging to the owner have access everywhere. I mean, in the catering unit as well
The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus. Nice hosts. Free parking place in front of the building.

The pool and whirlpools are really nice. The beach of the Balaton lake is about 15 min walking from the camping, this is a payed beach but worth a visit. The toilets and showers are clean enough
He recommended a lot of things to visit and do nearby. Very good parking place and a lot of facilities available. What can be improved: Although we did had a great time, the daily cleaning still can be improved
Positive: The rooms are big enough and very comfy bed. Good breakfast and the staff is very friendly and nice! I would recommend Mr. Janos to everybody! Very kind & polite owner
However, there is no hot water to do the dishes and the showers are also not really hot

Everything is great! Hospitable hosts. The room is great. Balcony. Everything in the kitchen is new. Balaton 10 min walk. Supermarkets are also 10 minutes away.
Very friendly hosts, pleasant, calm surroundings. Restaurant, beach, shopping center can be reached on foot in five minutes.
We are returning guests. We love being here. Super clean rooms await with fairy hosts who respond immediately to requests.
The hosts are very hospitable The placement was excellent. The house met all my needs.

All for 5. There is also a swimming pool. Quiet street. To the beach about 10 minutes on foot, and to the city about 35 minutes. The room is tidy, the only thing missing is air conditioning.
Indoor parking in the shade and use of the small outdoor swimming pool with sun lounger and umbrella. Perhaps the only flaw is that the room completely lacks shower gel and phone. Anyway I recommend it to everyone!!
I stayed here 3 nights and had a great time. Kindness and availability of the owner impeccable. Breakfast buffet at the height of the structure. Maybe some local sweets are missing. You can have breakfast on the terrace
In addition, guests have at their disposal a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. The location is excellent: a quiet and convenient residential area both by the lake and in the historic center
The only boarding house that exceeded my expectations. Very clean, sophisticated, family friendly. The breakfast is great, cleaning is done daily. The hosts are very kind, direct and helpful

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, nice and clean wellness area. Staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant food was pretty decent too.
The staff is polite, the room was clean and the sauna world with the evening sauna sessions. Extra point for the late night wellness. The location is also nice, the more expensive rooms have a nice view on the lake
Opening times a bit to short or difficult to manage with dinner time. Rooms nice and clean, comfortable bed, balcony or terrace and big bathroom. Restaurant with nice view! The terrace is lovely to sit outside
But unfortunately (in July) eating was a bit of a challenge cause of wasps. The service was a bit unattentive. Food was good but with to less variety
Only for stars because the food was not that good as anticipated. It was okay but nothing special

Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty
It's a very rare case, when I haven't to say any bad word. Actually, I want to thank all the hotel staff and the hotel owners, who provided excellent service and made our trip amazing
You don't see any stupid pathos, don't hear any formal hypocritical phrases, but you constantly feel that you are really welcome and that these people are ready to help you anytime
You don't need to leave the territory for some extra activity. However, this hotel is a fine gate into the city: it makes the first pleasant impression about Keszthely
Nothing like that! However, if you want to purchase some extra service or goods, you are welcome to do it there. The hotel is calm, family friendly, pretty democratic

The building outside is nicely maintained, the water in the pool has always been clean, the staff is kind, helpful, the breakfast selection is good
Location: in a good location the Pension (beach 750m) is in a quiet area, parking is solved. Service: it has its own pool which in my opinion could be a few degrees warmer, it was quite cold for the kids
I was with my partner and we were maximally satisfied. Bath is spotlessly clean as is everything. Breakfast and dinner are great too! Starring five for that much money! Thank you for the triple from Zoli and Klara!
For children there is a playground, ping-pong table, trampoline which is perfectly fine. Breakfast: very limited in food, there is still room for improvement
Rooms: I was disappointed at the first moment, cramped room (s) (apartment part with 2 rooms), no table, toilet door just opening in front of the shower
Overall, it was okay, but if I took that couple of tips, it could be 5th place too!

The receptionist was super nice and showed us everything. The guesthouse has three swimming pools and one whirlpool (the whirpool was little bit dirty), many possibilities for living
Breakfast great, many kinds of bread, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, muesli etc. Coffee, tea, milk hot and cold, juices. The guesthouse is located near the pier and near the city centre. Parking directly at the guesthouse

The service was polite and caring. The hotel is a really charming country house vibe. We went with my family and they upgraded our room to bigger one than we originally had
There are so many apartments so you have to walk to get your breakfast if you are in the other building. The pool and the sauna is also in another building
Full equiped room in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean. Free access to the sauna in the garden. Great choise for visiting Keszthely and the lake Balaton.
13 is in other building where is sauna and pool. But the room is street level and if you keep curtains open there’s open view to street. If you have a choice don’t take this room
Short stay We stayed 2 nights, the location was excellent, breakfast was good, sadly the wifi was not good at all on the 2nd floor. I would recommend to friends just update the wifi for thr future please.

It's a fair hotel with a fair price. I'd like to see that there's available WiFi in the hotel rooms but I wasn't so lucky.
The only disadvantage of this place is location, but not if you are driving by and have to stay for a night. Good breakfast, big room with mini kitchen, quiet place, friendly staff. All this for 48 eur.

We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area
The room is only 3 stars but the dinner is royal! The hospitality perfect and the park is nice. There is inside pool which is also good.
