The Igali Spa is familiar to many. The small town is located in Somogy county. Its medicinal water ranges from 34 to 38 degrees. The beach staff is kind and helpful. Always liked that hotel. One of the few real ones in the whole area. However, and that's a growing "however", it starts to feel tired. And now the restaurant - which in the past was really worth going to - has been closed. In a way the hotel reflects the rest of Kaposvar, which as a town is not necessarily on the way up.

Good location, private parking. Nice and big rooms. Breakfast wasn't the best but it was ok.

Great old-fashioned hotel with comfortable rooms

Stayed at dorottya hotel for a business trip for 1 day. Although nicely decorated, must say that rooms are good and spacious but bathrooms are quite old and definitely needs new look and renovation. Breakfast offered has good variety but many things are cold. But since options in kaposvar are limited, so this hotel is fairly good option.

Location is great, staff is very lovely and very responsive. Room was fantastic, spacious. Parking was easy to find. Wifi and aircon worked great too.

We spent 12 days in Hungary and 5 of those nights at Hotel Dorottya in Kaposvar. The rooms and service were outstanding. We felt very safe and comfortable. They also offer a fantastic breakfast as well as a very tasty bistro. We will definitely be staying here again when we return!

In the heart of the city, with private parking. Very neat is clean. The very large and refined rooms, with balcony. En-suite shower room with spacious walk-in shower. (There is no bidet). Prices are reasonable for the services offered.

Really nice hotel ,right in the town center . Walking distance to restaurants .Nicely renovated ,clean. Everybody is super nice and welcoming.Only 4 stars because my husband was trying to work and internet was a little slow for that . Otherwise I would give this place 5 stars +. Highly recommend to visit Kaposvar and staying in Borostyan Panzio.

The rooms are spacious and classy. Staff is really nice also, there's a restaurant downstairs with a great selection of traditional Hungarian dishes. I could have been not stay in a fancier guesthouse than this. Recommended!

Set your expectations! Its a 2 star and its cheap BUT its a very comfortable bed, good location, good staff. Air con with remote provided by reception. It's a good stay.

Really nice hotel. It reminds me style 1930 from the inside, 1970 from the outside. Room for 3 was huge, 2 rooms. Clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious, not so huge variaty, but so so tafesfull. I would come to this hotel the next time!

We have the opportunity to stay at Kapos Hotel and it was awesome! Nice view from the balcony, great food at dinner, also the breakfast was tasty! But the staff is unbelievable,,very kind and helpful! I recomand!

Very modern, comfortable hotel, offering modern, clean rooms with the only gripe being lack of coffee machine in room and the very low grade/thin towels, otherwise all good and also decent breakfast too.

We stayed there for 2 nights, we had a really good time. Food was excellent, on Friday there was some live music during dinner. Room was OK, except some little things (broken cosmetic mirror, I mean a screw should have been fixed, some light bulbs did not work, the water never dried on the bathroom floor, it was flooded, as the shower did not have a door. The clock in the spa section needed new battery...

I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. Good place for weekend relaxation.

It's a nice place, but nothing special. The prices are okay, it's cheap. So don't expect fancy things. The food relatively okay, the rooms are more or less clean. The shower, that's bad. The water smells for a minute, I don't know why. It has a Spa area, with sauna, aroma cabin, not tubs.

Nice, friendly staff. The room is clean and nicely furnished. It is next to the railway, yet a quiet calm environment. If you have to write something negative, maybe the fact that the shower head holder is fixed cannot be adjusted. This is inconvenient for people of non-average height.

One of the best places to stay at Balaton. The staff is excellent and the owner is very freindly. The rooms are highly clean and are niceley renovated. The rooms are also equiped with air conditioning. And it also has wifi.

The lady who received was very kind, the room / bathroom clean and tidy. Unfortunately, TV didn’t catch a single transmitter, ants were at war everywhere 😁. WiFi is slow and intermittent.

Dear owner and staff welcome all guests. The rooms are nicely renovated, suitable for a peaceful rest, with air conditioning. Opposite the room, the restroom shower cabin was in clean and beautiful condition. The accommodation is not far from the beach, restaurant, shop, gift shops, train station.

It is a good hotel with quiet and air-conditioned rooms. The air-conditioning is a bit weird, though, as it is located in the bathroom. The food is very good and you can take as much as you want. Breakfast is excellent and amazing. Full hungarian style, not a lot of options, but what is out is amazing. But that is all the good things to say about the place.. It said it has a swimming pool, nope. Very hot rooms, but has air conditioning,but the batteries where dead and they where not changed for ages. It was quite okay. The room was clean, but not all the rooms have air conditioners. We have, so it was quite nice at summer. The food was good, but we missed the juices at breakfast. They have menu for lunch, those lunches were delicious for that price.

We arrived with 34 young footballers. The goal was a little debriefing at the end of the championship... Retro accommodation at a relatively reasonable price with breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, but the coffee is already paid for, the staff is nice. We were here only one night but received only positive emotions. I went twice to this hotel, both of the times I had good memories. The place it is not new, it is mostly for those people who wants to remember mostly how was during comunist period. There is place to park the car. Breakfast it is not the very best and if you eat lunch in there I do remember waiters asking for tips. I spent a night here, the location is beautiful. There is a pool outside, we were able to use it during night, there is also a sauna. The breakfast was good as well.

This was our second time here. I did not remember that we could here the noise of the trafic from the main street last time. But it was really loud this time. With earplugs it is okay to sleep. I was here for a mathematical psychology seminar, and we were very well taken care of at Jogar Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quite relaxed about having 35 students in the hotel, playing in the game room until late evening. We felt welcomed and treated well as guests.
