One of the best hotels. I was with my family in apartment (half board). Food was excellent and various (for everyone). I can't tell anything special. This place is great as it is. There is a super kid pool with pleasant warm water, the kids had fun there. I missed a kid's slide a little or some kind of water playground. The food was very tasty, and the bar is not specially expensive. I rated this place four and a half star. I recommend.

Is a really nice area. The hotel is Middle of the forest. The hotel have so nice modern rooms. You can find Jacuzi and sauna into the garden but lot of time is not available, because need check in, so when you want to come here you must need to ask the assistant about sauna and jacuzi are available or not. Modern, comfortable, with fantastic amenities: pools, saunas, steam rooms, SALT ROOM!, spa menu, gorgeous rooms, and we had a private sauna and terrace with spectacular views. We are vegans, and the restaurant manager walked us through the buffet to point out the vegan food options. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was incredible. We had the most amazing time at Avar Hotel.

After hibernated for years, a legend was reborn. The building went through a complete restoration and opened again in 2020. Recommended place to stay with the family, friends or for business trips. Fine kitchen, clean rooms, and friendly stuff for a fair price. Top wellness services.

Hello, we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Everythhing was ok. Nice wellnes. We can recomend all for acomodation.

Breakfast was fine, got a few options to choose from (even some lactose free and gluten free for those who need it). Our room was clean, the bathroom is nice, however we got two beds that were moved to "appear" as one, but there was a huge split between. Spa is nice there are 4 types of saunas and there are two pools (one very small and shallow for babies probably).

The camping and hotel is a bit old fashioned and crowded. The rooms are clean and acceptable, however all the team required one more pillow. The food is very common, a bit cold, and often runs out of resupply. The restaurant is also very crowded. Probably the less is more a good term for the camping.

the location is nice and well-suited for small kids as well, and the rooms are spacious. the AC/heating is noisy and the food is not that great. do not expect a culinary experience.

Really beautiful lake. Nice path. Renovated. You can rent a boat 700 huf / 30 min. The parking fee is 400 Huf/ day. But you have to pay for the toilet also( only coin....). There is a free parking area hidden near by

Really nice place for a holiday or even a day trip. The camping is right next to lake Sástó, where there is a path around the lake (suitable for buggies). There is loads of ducks, little islands in the lake to explore and a lookout tower in the woods. There is a restaruant and a café in the camping complex. There is no ATM machine around but most places take cards.

I've been visiting this place for 30 years now. Loving the atmosphere, taking excursions around the hills and like the services the Camping offers. Yet, one note: since the renewal of the camping, prices went too high for me, I preferred to travel there with backpacks, stay in a tent and pay less.

tasteful and modern rooms, very flexible hosts able to fulfill requests on very short notice, wine cellar/tour and sauna is a non-standard plus! close proximity to the heavy industry in the region, the company hotel would have been a 45min drive away at least, limited breakfast selection but absoluetly sufficient also took care to cater for a colleague who required gluten free food

One of my favorite places to stay, I go back regularly. Clean and homely, with helpful and kind staff. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Several hiking trails start from the guest house. There is also a NICE card payment option.

A beautiful place, the comfortable spacious terrace can bite the silence. Perfect for relaxing. The housewife is cute and very kind, the room is clean, the bath is specially designed! :) Hiking trail is 1 hour 20 minutes from Kékes and 35 minutes from Csóri Hill. Superb hotel with excellent staff the hotel should be very proud of. The Breakfast was good with a large variety, also with the option to order anything extra you fancied. Restaurant in the evening again, food was great and the staff both professional and friendly. There is parking and the front and rear of the hotel, I used the rear as it secured by electric gates. Stayed here for a night, the room was spacious and tidy, well furnished, the air con felt lacking power, it took ages for it to cool the room. They have a good restaurant downstairs, I enjoyed my dinner there. Staff was kind.

The accommodation is clean and tidy. What I had a problem with was the parking. Two cars can fit in the yard. Outside to a place, plus the sidewalk! could have stood. We arrived with two cars, as we booked a room for 6 people, so we couldn't fit six in the 5-person car... The owner was surprised by this, so we could only get in with one car, but the other still reserved a free space for those who hadn...

The guest house is in a picturesque setting. The garden is also beautiful, where it was quiet and peaceful. The rooms in the house are sophisticated and clean, but the walls are thin. Regardless, I recommend the place.

Cozy little guesthouse with several rooms. There are double and family rooms, each with a fridge and TV. There are several bathrooms and toilets per floor, so almost every guest can use their own. Large shared kitchen and dining room with several tables and several gas stoves. Sauna. I can only recommend.

There were 6 of us at the accommodation ... I can’t even put into words how well we felt. The house has everything you could need, we found no shortage of anything.
