This is the most stunning resort hotel I have stayed at in Hungary. It has an excellent location, perfect for skiing and hiking. The hotel offers comprehensive services and facilities, and the food is truly enjoyable.

We passed randomly while hiking, had lunch and a quick swim inside. The stuff were amazing and interactive, smiley, enthousiaste and helpful.

Good for hungarian speaking guests,mixed age , for english there is struggle from the staff, some countries do not even exist in their check in system

I've enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff was very polite, helpful and friendly, cooperative with any needs. I found the beds in the rooms a bit uncomfortable and the room design is a bit old, but the overall experience was great. The food was exceptionally good.

Nice looking hotel, room was spacey and clean, some places could use some touchups like the entertainment and the spa/pool areas. The bar/entertainment area closed pretty early, looked a bit messy and staff was not always attending it (we were there mid-week but hey - it's a resort). Overall we had a nice experience. First 5 star castle hotel in Hungary. Two tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, wellness. You can also request bell ringing and fireworks for marriages.

Great campsite, cute places and nice staff.

Really nice place for a holiday or even a day trip. The camping is right next to lake Sástó, where there is a path around the lake (suitable for buggies). There is loads of ducks, little islands in the lake to explore and a lookout tower in the woods. There is a restaruant and a café in the camping complex. There is no ATM machine around but most places take cards.

We spent holiday 23dec to 26dec 18. Nice resting, kind employers, but the roof made from metal so if you have upstairs room and its raining, you wont sleep. Doors are under upgrading to electronics, wich is a perfect feature, but at this time its not available on upstairs. The salt cave is usefull, you can have relax, and healthy. I've been visiting this place for 30 years now. Loving the atmosphere, taking excursions around the hills and like the services the Camping offers. Yet, one note: since the renewal of the camping, prices went too high for me, I preferred to travel there with backpacks, stay in a tent and pay less.

One of the best hotels. I was with my family in apartment (half board). Food was excellent and various (for everyone). Cook sometimes get out from kitchen and arrange food on buffet, then you have extraordinary served food. Absolutely perfect. A perfect place for a congress

My colleagues and I planned a less professional but more fun (not drinking/vomiting, but active, sporty) program for Mátra. The mild weather in January was favorable for non-skiing programs, of course you still had to dress thoroughly. Is a really nice area. The hotel is Middle of the forest. The hotel have so nice modern rooms. You can find Jacuzi and sauna into the garden but lot of time is not available, because need check in, so when you want to come here you must need to ask the assistant about sauna and jacuzi are available or not. My husband and I spent our anniversary here. The staff is kind and attentive. They kept our requests in mind and tried to find solutions suitable for everyone. Very nice, clean place. Kind, polite service.

Great for two-days city escape. Nice tradition, when baker leaves fresh bread at your doors at early morning. The only thing was that there were no coverage at the top of the staircase - seen very dangerous for families with small kids. And be aware - a bell from the nearby church will wake you up at 5am :)

During our time here, we had a wonderful time travel. We can live in an authentic cottage that is more than 100 years old. Entering the kitchen, we were always greeted by pleasant warmth, the built-in stove made us forget that there is actually central heating in the house. It was an island of peace and relaxation. We'll be back one day, in another season!

I stayed here on my long distance hike through Hungary. It was a nice opportunity to spend a night in the middle of the UNESCO world heritage village of Hollókö. My house had quaint original furniture but modern sanitation facilities. A restaurant was nearby. The castle is also not far, as well as the many little museums of the village. Pleasant environment, nice rooms. The garden and the sitting area are also beautiful. The rooms had TV, WiFi, air conditioning, microwave, water heater and hot plate. Well-equipped. The owner is also nice.

Truly friendly owner, comfy place to stay. I forgot to take pictures of the apartments itself but it has an amazing outdoor lounge area for relaxing. The apartments itself is fully equipped and regularly cleaned.

Comfortable place close to the center of Egerszalók

Great rooms, great pools, great food, great service!!!!! Cannot give enough praise! We loved every second there and wish we could have stayed longer. We visited in March. Reachable by bus or taxis for those without a car.

Very relaxing break at this establishment. The rooms (not sure about the glass doors to the toilet facilities though!!) were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The spa/wellness facilities were very good with different levels of heat/minerals in the pools. It was described as having 17 pools, but in reality it less but larger pools are sectioned, but this of course is not an issue....

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We were satisfied with everything, except for the fact that the treadmill didn't function in the gym. The spa with the outdoor pools is exceptional, the view of the salt hill is breathtaking. Staff could smile more, but they are polite and helpful. Nice budget hotel. Not bad if you don't mind a rustic place to stay. The temperature outside was very cold for September and the room was very cold. The heaters didn't work. Rooms were small but everything we needed since we were out exploring all day. Shower had nice hot water (after we asked). Hair dryer provided at front desk. Hotel as a hotel us good. Staff is very nice. But termal pool is public, so everyone from outside can come and bath. Cave bath is paid extra!

The experience was positive, the room was modern and enough comfortable, food is nice, the level of service is almost always good. Nice hotel, good service. The only negative I may mention that the hotel itself is a little garish with many artificial lamps, decorations, curtains and statues. I found this too artificial. I prefer natural materials, ornaments and simplicity in the outfit.

Nice hotel, rooms are lovely and clean. The only downside is that the staff just don't feel so friendly. We didn't get any help with exploring the local area and they didn't feel very approachable. We had two spa treatments. One was great the other was just okay. We would stay here again for sure it's just not a place that will 'amaze' you.

We were a group and we stayed here for 1 night, things to note: -The staff is very helpful and nice and always smiling - The place is so relaxing and extremely clean. -Their breakfast is basic but very bice at the same time. -I recommend using the SPA the jacuzzi was good with a view over the garden. - It has free WiFi -Sparko, one of the cuttest dogs live in there 🐕❤️

The best place to stay in Eger 👍

I was here because of an 'Ulti card game competition' on International Women's Day in Füzesabony, Hungary. So I drove here from Budapest the day before. We were invited for dinner in Szépasszony-völgy, Eger, Hungary. This hotel has a very great breakfast buffet. Kind regards, Tao.

A friendly, family owned hotel within 7 min walking distance to the centre of Eger. WiFi throughout the hotel, spa, and… a Beatles museum! What is not to like? Under the hotel you find cosy win cellars where wine tasting is arranged. I recommend you exploring local red and white wine, not least the famous Egri bikavér!

Very nice and cozy hotel only a few minutes walk from beautiful Eger in a quite part far from any traffic noise. Rooms are nice, clean and comfy. Had a nice massage and swim in their wellness section. Big breakfast and had dinner a couple of times really good meals. The staff is really helpful.

With family we are regular visitors of this hotel, wich is very conveniently placed and the staff is extremely kind, helpful in all aspects. The room is comfortable, after the recent renovation it looks more fresh and AC has improved also. I would like to specially recommend the Hungharina cousins and wines, independently time of visit.

The apartment is equipped with everything you need, English-speaking owners, extremely obliging and helpful.

We get accommodation in perfect condition, it is also extremely child-friendly, which we were very happy about. Neat, clean apartments and yard, nice owner. Thank you for letting us spend a few days here :)

This is one of my favorite location in Eger. It is a fantastic location right next to the castle wall in the middle of downtown. You can feel the history and the culture radiates from the walls of the building! Actually it is an interesting fact that they used some of the stones from the castle when the hotel was built. Even during Covid they are creative to offer some drinks outside for the tourists...
