This is the most stunning resort hotel I have stayed at in Hungary. It has an excellent location, perfect for skiing and hiking. The hotel offers comprehensive services and facilities, and the food is truly enjoyable.

We passed randomly while hiking, had lunch and a quick swim inside. The stuff were amazing and interactive, smiley, enthousiaste and helpful.

Good for hungarian speaking guests,mixed age , for english there is struggle from the staff, some countries do not even exist in their check in system

I've enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff was very polite, helpful and friendly, cooperative with any needs. I found the beds in the rooms a bit uncomfortable and the room design is a bit old, but the overall experience was great. The food was exceptionally good.

If you need a break, silence, nature. You want to stay in the forest and need an excellent service, quality food and wine ... go here. Amazing place, highly recommended

The place is really wonderful. It's in the very end of the village surrounded by the forest. We can say it's a great place for a weekend getaway. The owner is a family and all of them (whom we met) were very nice and friendly. Their hospitality is unquestionable. The only disappointment was the dinner. I've checked the pictures and I was expecting fine dining and instead we've practically got a chicken...

An exceptional and beautiful little place. Very peaceful and quiet. Rooms are tidy and clean. Staff is very friendly and professional. Wifi coverage is perfect throughout the whole hotel (no blind spots). Very tasty kitchen. Hiking path begins right off the edge of the property.

Very great accommodation and super friendly staff, we had an amazing week here. The rooms are very clean and well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped with pans, pots and even with an oven. Affordable beautiful apartman in a small village in the hungarian mountains, very nice and helpful hosts, breakfast is better than in a 4-star hotel. Mátraszentistván Sípark is in 10-minute- walk distance. i loved it! :)

Cozy little guesthouse with several rooms. There are double and family rooms, each with a fridge and TV. There are several bathrooms and toilets per floor, so almost every guest can use their own. Large shared kitchen and dining room with several tables and several gas stoves. Sauna. I can only recommend.

The hosts are direct and flexible. The accommodation, equipped with a sauna, is completely suitable for relaxing after the whole day's exertions. The price/value ratio is acceptable. I can only recommend.

There were 6 of us at the accommodation ... I can’t even put into words how well we felt. The house has everything you could need, we found no shortage of anything. We caught it in pouring rain, but we still had a good time. The garden is fabulous and the house is. I highly recommend it to everyone and we are sure to be returning guests. Very nice place. The view is wonderful. The house is very comfortable for 4 people but can accommodate up to 6 people. Hiking trails are all close by. The house tis well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the blankets are modern. Idevisszajövünk.

The accommodation is clean and tidy. What I had a problem with was the parking. Two cars can fit in the yard. Outside to a place, plus the sidewalk! could have stood. We arrived with two cars, as we booked a room for 6 people, so we couldn't fit six in the 5-person car... The owner was surprised by this, so we could only get in with one car, but the other still reserved a free space for those who hadn...

Our room was just right, but the bathroom and toilet were a bit uncomfortable. The guest house is in a picturesque setting. The garden is also beautiful, where it was quiet and peaceful. The rooms in the house are sophisticated and clean, but the walls are thin. Regardless, I recommend the place.

Quality accommodation at a good price

One of my favorite places to stay, I go back regularly. Clean and homely, with helpful and kind staff. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Several hiking trails start from the guest house. There is also a NICE card payment option.

A beautiful place, the comfortable spacious terrace can bite the silence. Perfect for relaxing. The housewife is cute and very kind, the room is clean, the bath is specially designed! :) Hiking trail is 1 hour 20 minutes from Kékes and 35 minutes from Csóri Hill. Perfect in every respect, we will come back here. I can only recommend. :)

Actually, I can only speak in superlatives, everything I could wish for as a guest, I got 100% here. Silence, peace, tranquility and most importantly: the human PEOPLE, THE HOSTS, yes, in all caps. Beautifully appointed house,with very agreeable hosts. Just like an Alpine chalet. Excellent spot to explore the area - Eger, Matra mountains,and beyond.

Nice looking hotel, room was spacey and clean, some places could use some touchups like the entertainment and the spa/pool areas. The bar/entertainment area closed pretty early, looked a bit messy and staff was not always attending it (we were there mid-week but hey - it's a resort). Overall we had a nice experience. First 5 star castle hotel in Hungary. Two tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, wellness. You can also request bell ringing and fireworks for marriages.

Quiet secluded place. Lovely to unwind with a BBQ or a "bogracs" to put it in Hungarian words. Friendly and helpful staff!

The guesthouse is placed in a very beautiful place. No city noises, only birds are heard during the day. The family living in this house, is very kind and helpful - if you're going to take a tour in the forest, they can give a good advice on the route. The hostess makes very tasty dinners! Wow this place is amazing! The best bed and breakfast I've been to in Hungary. The rooms are so clean, that there isn't even a water mark on the shower glass. The beds are big and comfortable. Hello, we stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Everythhing was ok. Nice wellnes. We can recomend all for acomodation.

Breakfast was fine, got a few options to choose from (even some lactose free and gluten free for those who need it). Our room was clean, the bathroom is nice, however we got two beds that were moved to "appear" as one, but there was a huge split between. Spa is nice there are 4 types of saunas and there are two pools (one very small and shallow for babies probably).

We spent holiday 23dec to 26dec 18. Nice resting, kind employers, but the roof made from metal so if you have upstairs room and its raining, you wont sleep. Doors are under upgrading to electronics, wich is a perfect feature, but at this time its not available on upstairs. The salt cave is usefull, you can have relax, and healthy. The camping and hotel is a bit old fashioned and crowded. The rooms are clean and acceptable, however all the team required one more pillow. The food is very common, a bit cold, and often runs out of resupply. The restaurant is also very crowded. Probably the less is more a good term for the camping.

the location is nice and well-suited for small kids as well, and the rooms are spacious. the AC/heating is noisy and the food is not that great. do not expect a culinary experience.

One of the best hotels. I was with my family in apartment (half board). Food was excellent and various (for everyone). Cook sometimes get out from kitchen and arrange food on buffet, then you have extraordinary served food. Absolutely perfect. A perfect place for a congress

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I loved the small intimate feel of the hotel itself. The outdoor spaces were nice and comfortable with different options to choose from. We had a great fresh breakfast every morning to start our day. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was perfect! The welcome, the room, the breakfast was excellent. They have jakuzzi and sauna in the garden, where you can sit out, and relax. The receptionist was very kind person, she helped us where to go, what to do in the area. There is no dinner, or lunch. But they have also restaurant nearby, its very close, approx. 5-8 minutes by walking.

The hotel was fine, but they don’t have an elevator, the worst thing was the A\C in the room it was not doing it job we visited at July and we couldn’t open the windows because of the bugs, we had to park our car outside the hotel parking but it was a safe calm street so it wasn’t a big deal

The mild weather in January was favorable for non-skiing programs, of course you still had to dress thoroughly. Modern, comfortable, with fantastic amenities: pools, saunas, steam rooms, SALT ROOM!, spa menu, gorgeous rooms, and we had a private sauna and terrace with spectacular views. We are vegans, and the restaurant manager walked us through the buffet to point out the vegan food options. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was incredible. After hibernated for years, a legend was reborn. The building went through a complete restoration and opened again in 2020. Recommended place to stay with the family, friends or for business trips. Fine kitchen, clean rooms, and friendly stuff for a fair price. Top wellness services.
