Where to stay in Matraszentimre

We passed randomly while hiking, had lunch and a quick swim inside. The stuff were amazing and interactive, smiley, enthousiaste and helpful.

Good for hungarian speaking guests,mixed age , for english there is struggle from the staff, some countries do not even exist in their check in system

I've enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff was very polite, helpful and friendly, cooperative with any needs. I found the beds in the rooms a bit uncomfortable and the room design is a bit old, but the overall experience was great. The food was exceptionally good.

Very nice wellness section. Location of the hotel is perfect. Beautiful view from upper levels of the building. Food is ok but don't expect culinary dishes.

Their website is well designed but horrible to use. Bookings take ages to make and prices are unavailable in advance. The location itself is clean and the wellness facilities are small but good. The location is also very cool.

It has a very decent wellness compound, and splendid kitchen. Mind you, thge tipical local food is heavy and spicy. And usually it has some local tint, like wildboar or stag-stew. It is fairly quiet, in a very quiet environment. No noisy activities around whatsoever. Good for families with kids. If you need a break, silence, nature. You want to stay in the forest and need an excellent service, quality food and wine ... go here. Amazing place, highly recommended

The place is really wonderful. It's in the very end of the village surrounded by the forest. We can say it's a great place for a weekend getaway. The owner is a family and all of them (whom we met) were very nice and friendly. Their hospitality is unquestionable. The only disappointment was the dinner. I've checked the pictures and I was expecting fine dining and instead we've practically got a chicken...

An exceptional and beautiful little place. Very peaceful and quiet. Rooms are tidy and clean. Staff is very friendly and professional. Wifi coverage is perfect throughout the whole hotel (no blind spots). Very tasty kitchen. Hiking path begins right off the edge of the property.

Very great accommodation and super friendly staff, we had an amazing week here. The rooms are very clean and well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped with pans, pots and even with an oven. The washing machine was also a big help and the large fridge accommodated all our food easily. The ski park is 1 km away and easily reachable by foot. Affordable beautiful apartman in a small village in the hungarian mountains, very nice and helpful hosts, breakfast is better than in a 4-star hotel. Mátraszentistván Sípark is in 10-minute- walk distance. i loved it! :)

Cozy little guesthouse with several rooms. There are double and family rooms, each with a fridge and TV. There are several bathrooms and toilets per floor, so almost every guest can use their own. Large shared kitchen and dining room with several tables and several gas stoves. Sauna. I can only recommend.

The hosts are direct and flexible. The accommodation, equipped with a sauna, is completely suitable for relaxing after the whole day's exertions. The price/value ratio is acceptable. I can only recommend.

The room does not have a shower or air conditioning. It is 40 degrees outside. The view is, of course, beautiful and the rooms are clean, all carpeted like at my mother’s house...

There were 6 of us at the accommodation ... I can’t even put into words how well we felt. The house has everything you could need, we found no shortage of anything. We caught it in pouring rain, but we still had a good time. The garden is fabulous and the house is. I highly recommend it to everyone and we are sure to be returning guests. Beautiful and quiet country atmosphere. Accomodation was excellent. Lovely and well presented "home", with a typical fireplace. Highly recommend to just take time out and relax

Very nice place. The view is wonderful. The house is very comfortable for 4 people but can accommodate up to 6 people. Hiking trails are all close by. The house tis well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the blankets are modern. Idevisszajövünk.
