Where to stay in Papa

Very clean hotel that’s cheap. I would recommend anyone looking for a hotel visiting the area stay here. They have plenty of parking outside for guests. The staff working at the desk were always very nice and answered any questions we had.

This is our 2nd time book with Villa classica. The staff and service are excellent. The room is spacious for family of 4. Bathroom is clean and big. Parking is free, walking distance to the center. Breakfast is ok, very simple. We had a dinner there as well, food was good!

Hotel staff is friendly, helpful and curtious. Great rooms and amazing food with authentic Hungarian flavors. Not being able to enjoy the wellness center is a bummer, but great place to stay regardless.

If you are a foreigner living in Papa, this place will be iconic by the time you leave. Often a place of refuge, and place of hello’s and goodbye’s. Customer service is awesome... you’ll notice the difference as soon as you start venturing out of Papa and seeing customer service in other places in Hungary 😉 Always order the potato chips.

Old building but in good condition, rooms immaculate, not too many staff. Very central for papa town, reasonably priced

Super clean, amazing location:. Right across from Central Church. This is the HQ for Hungarian first Airborne unit. The hotel still has the central area that that the HQ officers bar. SUPER clean. Only thing missing is breakfast. Good wifi and very quiet. Overall- great place

I stayed here a long time ago, but good memories were left. I arrived with a dog (for the show the next day). They welcomed us, got a spotlessly clean room, and offered dogs with fresh water. TV is huge with lots of channels. Staff nice :)

Very nice hosts, delicious jerky breakfasts, Nothing to add! How to operate a guest house! I recommend it to everyone! The Sárika Vizsla is also ideal for a secured garden! Thanks for coming back!

Clean, orderly, well-trained. The owner is a nice, direct, good cook. Comfortable suites, fine food, sauna, oven, etc. Simply put it down.

Location is great, close to the railway station and oldtown. The team is very firendly and helpful. Nice selection of homemade jams for breakfest.

We had a great time at Ditlin, staff was really friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Special thanks to Zoltán who even cooked vegan meals for us. Dinner and breakfast was served on the terrace with a pleasant garden view. The room was also nice and clean. Next time we’re in Pápa, we are definitely staying here. 👌🏻

We stayed here for one night in transit, we were satisfied, the price-value ratio is absolutely good. Nicely renovated, comfortable, clean. There is a parking space nearby. There is a seating area in front of each room in the corridor.

Excellent place for the price! The rooms are clean, in front of them in the corridor, especially on the first floor, there is a pleasant place to sit out. Unfortunately, the heating cannot be controlled, so we slept with the window open. Some of the mattresses are spread out and you can really feel the bed frame.

The hotel, which was once very beautiful, has unfortunately long since seen its best days. It makes a somewhat run-down impression. Few people get lost in the much too large building. "Shining" sends its regards.

We had a nice time at this hotel. They always had an ear for your wishes and they offered a lot of services like Billiard or Kicker. The nature around the hotel is stunning and so is the building.

This is probably the first time when I am eager to submit my feedback. So many great words I would like to express about this hotel, people and nature of this land!... I strongly recommend to visit Bakony hotel at least once in your life. I am pretty sure that you will come back as I want to. Fantastic place for couples and families with children, extremely fresh air and natural water. No noise but...

Very nice staff and picturesque surrounding. It is at the end of the village in the woods. Nice in winter time but I am surely coming back in summer. I am usually freezing even at room temperature but I was feeling great here. Perfect for a weekend getaway alone or with a friend or even a family. Very well equipped, nice atmosphere. I'd like to begin with the positives... The food is overall excellent with big portions at normal prices. We spent two nights here and had a two dinners and two breakfasts. My favorite was the Deer Steak in blueberry sauce. It was truly excellent and the huge amount of meat sets it apart from the dishes of the same kind I've had in other restaurants. The we had eggs in different forms for our two breakfasts...

Just amazing. I come from Italy so I know how hospitality can make you feel WELCOME and at home. This place is worth every single forint. Fairly priced and the food is just as amazing as at home. Brilliant service and kind people are running the place. Highly recommended.

Nice cozy place. Food is great, service is friendly. Not on the main road, so it is quiet too. Has some outdoor seating under huge trees. We had a very good time here. And again, just for emphasis: The food was very good, especially the meats. Thank you Vadszőlő! :D

Family run business at middle of beautiful Bakony...in Bakonybel ...that would be a good resting point at middle of your excursion ...food is also very tasty ....recommended..

Having lunch in Vadszőlő etterem was a very pleasant experience because of the nice staff, great and really calm environment and a good quality food. Do not forget to try somloi galuska here, other desserts are also worth the money.

Very welcoming host, accommodation offered everything we needed and was in a great location, excellent value for money.

It is in a very nice location, clean, equipped apartments. There is enough parking space for four cars.

The accommodation is absolutely fine par 4 stars could take an example. I especially like it when you are kind to the arrivals. Parking in the yard, barbecue and holiday facilities. The rooms have a 60l refrigerator, built-in overhead, microwave.

Everything was fine. Comfortable, spacious accommodation. The host is kind. You can park your car in the yard.

The owner, Aunt Irénke, is exceptionally kind, helpful and flexible. He offered me delicious coffee and the apple pie he baked was incomparable! 😊😋 The accommodation is very clean.

2020 Very nice housewife. Helpful service. Clean environment. 2021 Fantastically renovated bathroom, kindness and many beautiful sights nearby. There's still enough left in the place that we'll be back. Hotplate, fridge, kettle, extra coffee, brandy :), microwave, toaster and mineral water from the tap.

Clean, tidy rooms, realistic room rates, child-friendly, parking in front of the house. A safe place, it can be a starting point for both easy and difficult tours. Self-catering, but free cooking and grilling are possible, closed yard.

We had a wonderful time at the Sárgarigó Vendégház. The location and the place is great and our hosts were really welcoming and kind. The backyard of the house is a great spot for relaxation and you can even grab some eggs from the friendly chickens belonging to the garden. We can really recommend the place.

Dear Hosts, pleasant, quiet accommodation, also quiet, but rich in attractions. Do you need more than this to relax? My family and I return regularly.

I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! We are almost returning guests... :) The accommodation is very cultured, well equipped and homely. The hosts are almost "family members", they do everything for the comfort and peace of the guests. You can contact them with any "tricky" question, there is no limit to their willingness to help. When we park in front of Sárgarigó...it's like coming home. Beautiful...
