Danubius Hotel Raba

We stayed at this hotel for one night and felt the room and service did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price. The hotel seems to need some updates and had an unpleasant odor. The toilet in our room was broken and not very clean. Additionally, the staff appeared unhappy, which affected the overall atmosphere. For those considering a stay, I recommend booking online for better rates and the option of free cancellation in case your plans change. I hope the management can address these issues to enhance the guest experience.

Rude staff. No explanation what so ever. Just a NO rooms available!

I saw also another lady that found a cockroach in her room!

We came to this hotel for a one night stay. And thank god we did…

Yes we got the cheapest room to stay in but this was worst than your average motel!

Let me just list all the things that went wrong or just didn’t work..:

1. The fridge did not work and was leaking water.

2. The bath tub did not drain. (By the time you finished taking a shower the water would be till your knees and would take another 20 minutes to drain)

3. Ever flushed a toilet on a plane? Well imagine that but having to hold the flush button for 30 seconds just for it to flush…it literally sounded like you were starting up a lawn mower..

4. AT 8AM IN THE MORNING THERE WAS CONSTRUCTION OUTSIDE OUR ROOM THAT SOUNDED LIKE MULTIPLE MACHINE-GUNS GOWING OFF AT THE SAME TIME!!! Right outside our door…I’m surprised they didn’t take our door because when we exited the room the wall was gone…

5. Front desk told us that free parking was included. Not it wasn’t. You have to pay for every two hours that you stay there after 8 am. And then go back and pay again after those two hours are up.

6. See the pretty historical building that the hotel claims to be? Well hahah that’s only half the building. Because the front half is just your regular office building. (We were so confused when we got there)

7. Hotel is in general really old and is in need of renovation.

There you go! We totally loved our stay…

At least the view was nice from our window.

Completely unprofessional.
The bill was made for an other name.
In the restaurant the half eaten dish was already removed without questioning.
In the entrance a lot of smoking guests both sides, you could not enter without passive smoking.
Plastic bowel in the sauna.

Terrible room, dirty with a horrible view and noisy from 6am onwards. The girls at the reception were mean and very very unhelpful especially the one with glasses. HOWEVER, the guys were very nice and helpful and even offered us a free parking. The beds were not attached and kept separating. Location is good but remember the town is tiny.Overall 2/10.
