Spirit Hotel Thermal Spa

Stayed for 5 nights after 1600 km drive from England. This was the perfect rest before embarking on our Hungarian holiday. Real 5 star luxury and a top quality hotel. So far, the best in Europe that I've stayed in! There's been many. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff at Spirit Hotel.

We were once recommended this hotel at the Kempinski Hotel Budapest and they did not disappoint me. I can only recommend because the services here are at the same or even higher level than where they recommended them. Just replace the soft mattresses with harder ones and you are the number 1 hotel in Hungary for me.

Lovely hotel, the amenities are fantastic. We got a room with double beds.. we just found the individual beds narrow and small and did not match the luxurious feel of the room. .Otherwise we were very happy with everything and will return.

I would like to ask the hotel staff if the owner of the gold jewelry powder box that I found in the thermal pool area and handed over to the reception on the evening of May 7, 2024 has been found.

Otherwise, Hotel Spirit is a beautiful place for recreation and relaxation. I rate everything positively, but the diet is the best. It is simply amazing❣️

I visited this hotel for the first time and I was delighted. Its main characteristic is gallantry and charm. At every step, you can feel respect and willingness to create pleasant moments for your visitors..... disciplined and pleasant staff....
the food in the restaurant was served elegantly, professionally and with charm....everything in the hotel worked to a high standard and professionally.
Amazing experience.
I recommend it to those who want to experience the uniqueness of this hotel.

We’ve been loyal customers for over a decade, nearly two actually. This hotel is great, and very luxurious.The quality has overall, stayed frequent, except the food quality..the only star deducted was for the food!

• some meals repetitive, lack of diversity during dinner (at times)
• mediocre desserts, most of them were too simple and not up to standard with the rest of the meals, and taste like nothing.
•great breakfast, a bunch of delicious choices, especially eggs and protein!
•increased quality in lunch (pool bistro “OXYGEN”)
• lack of carb choices especially during dinner
•usually very good meat

The spa is the highlight, they win awards yearly.

•giant swimming pool (lower temp)
• sauna world- only for minors above 14 years of age and older
•sauna “resting area” only for persons above 14 years of age
•free gym
•unlimited towels, bath cloths, sheets.
•dogs are allowed in reception, and in hotel rooms, if applicable with guidelines,and if quiet, there’s most likely a fee (nightly)

•it’s very hot everywhere in the spa
•not wheelchair accessible (only applies to a few areas, still worth mentioning)
•most staff know absolutely no English, or very little English.
•very difficult to refill water bottles/ get water, unless purchasing a bottled water multiple times a day.
•not the best place for massages, (with multiple people’s experiences)
•you may be annoyed of squealing children.

Overall, this is a great hotel, most definitely the BEST thermal spa in all of Sárvár, possibly all of Hungary. With a few tweaks, this hotel would receive five stars, across all boards.

A few less important details:

•the tiles aren’t heated in the bathroom
•odd tv without actual tv programs (??)
• lack of storage in the bathroom
• firm bed (may be good for some)
• oddly dark in the room (renovated)

It’s our 2nd time visiting this amazing hotel. And it was even better this time. Everything is 5 STARS - saunas, pools, food, rooms, service. Can’t get better than this. Strongly recommend if you are looking for relaxing, rejuvenating vacation.

Fantastic hotel with such enormous SPA facilities that could be a stand alone anywhere in the world. New rooms are great and pure luxury feel throughout the property. Recommended!
