Ignoring the bad shower design that made the whole bathroom floor wet, everything was fantastic. The pool and the sauna are awesome. Cheap massages are also recommended

The hotel's best years are behind it and you can still feel the previous era here. A general renovation is recommended. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. Food average and with little choice. Nice service, there is a swimming pool in the basement, a billard, darts, etc.

The staff is kind and professional, as well as the reception. The hotel and the rooms are decently equipped, they were very attentive to cleanliness. We also liked the huge pool. With all that said we overlooked the defects such as the lack of AC, thefrequent noises from the highway/comuting train and for the not so well performing wifi. It's a good place to stay in, the food was good, personal friendly and pretty much everything you can ask for. Only thing I disliked was collapsing WiFi.

We had a great time in a wonderful, family environment, with kind, attentive, helpful hosts. Special recognition for the really rich, delicious breakfast. The cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere of the rooms were perfect for us. I can only recommend it to those who want to relax!

Been there for just one night on our way to Budapest. I wish we would have stayed longer!! It is so beautiful and nice there, the pool is fun, as is the ping-pong table in the back, the room was super clean and cosy, the staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast enough to be full, everything very clean and tidy. It was an excellent experience. Everything was very nice and clean. They have a beautiful garden and location is very close to the lake. Breakfast was also very good and tasty. Nevertheless stuff is very friendly. If you want to spend a few days and to relax , then don´t miss this place! For sure that I will come back next year

Absolutely first class hotel. Family run. Spotlessly clean. Spacious room. Gorgeous private gardens. This is how a hotel should be run and such hotels are hard to find. I think we will no longer stay in four star hotel chains but look for three star family run places. It's really good here.

The location is across from a private harbor and close to the beaches. It's an ok location. The hotel has plenty of parking. Not really a 4 star hotel. Many missing in room amenities. We had a room on 1st floor and had to carry up our luggage by stairs. Hotel had a musty smell. The room was large and spacious and there was a good variety for breakfast. The reception staff at front desk when we checked out was a pleasant and helpful lady. She answered many of our questions. Enough space for cars and free parking.

Last minute trip to Balaton during the week of St. Stephen's Day meant there were very few accommodation options. Location is a bit far from the lake if, like us, you don't want to drive, it's a 15 minute walk so its not easy to nip backwards and forwards, but there was a little fair nearby so thankfully my son was enthusiastic about the walk home each evening. The experience is extremely good. Clean, very well equipped kitchen, everything was perfectly fine in the rooms as well. The accommodation lady Katalin is friendly, helpful, everything for the guests. It is available from early in the morning until late in the evening. Amazing place to stay. Right near the lake and very nice rooms! Also the hostess was extremely nice and helpful getting us around in Siofok and making our stay at Vendeghaz as comfortable as possible. I really recommend using the bikes available as a means of transportation to get around in Siofok. It's easy and riding your bike here is also very safe as a lot of people are biking around.

This place was absolutely charming. Very old style, it felt a bit like traveling back in time. The town is quiet and peaceful at night. This was a last minute booking and the hostess was kind enough to come up in person to show us around. Highly recommend.

I lovin it. Host is so friendly and room is clean. I have been there lately at night but he waited for me for check-in. In a room have a lot of stuff that you need; towel, dishes, cutlery, pan, etc. In the morning you can walk to the end of hotel and see lake view! The location is close to attractions in Tihany, the love village. Unfortunately, I just spending a night. Never mine I will be back.

Retro hotel with a beautiful huge garden right at the lakeside of the Balaton and one of the best views to the lake and to the hills of Tihany. Really old fashioned and basic. Ideal for just staying the night and a quick dip in the lake but don't expect more. This used to be a really fancy hotel with quite a bit of features and activities but they were clearly abandoned.

We spent 3 nights here, the place is absolutely fine! The pool is great, the breakfast was also absolutely good (several types of meats, cheese, vegetables, hot dogs, pastries). We stayed here for one night enroute from Slovakia to Croatia. We slept very well, the breakfast was decent and the location to the lake was good. The place is a bit old fashioned and the water works on the bathroom made a constant noise. But for 20 is euros we couldn't really complain. When you put it in context everything was ok. Decent, simple, amenities not too new. But good breakfast and close to the lake. Nice parking lot. I was here for a mathematical psychology seminar, and we were very well taken care of at Jogar Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quite relaxed about having 35 students in the hotel, playing in the game room until late evening. We felt welcomed and treated well as guests. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was acceptable. Location is great. The spa was okay too, my only issue is in the hot tub the water could have been a bit warmer. Customer service , by mistake they wanted to charge me for a cake which I never ordered,the receptionist was helpful and he corrected the problem but frankly I say the other stuff member should pay a bit more attention.
