Where to stay in Zanka

The staff is really nice. There is a well designed inrterior space, especially at the restourant. It is also really good that it is right next to the Lake.

Fantastic place, we loved it. We had a breakfast here, everything homemade and delicious. Service was also great; kind and thoughtful. Thank you for the lovely start of the day. :)

Very good hotel on the shady hillside of Szepezd. The smaller beach is about 5 minutes walk, the larger beach is 15 minutes walk. The bed is comfortable, the area is quiet, with good air. The care is excellent, the hosts are very attentive. It could even be the location of an Agatha Christie novel.😀

Very nice place to stay, lake view from every room, room was neat and clean, new furniture, big loggia. 5 stars goes especialy to the personnel, they’ve been all very nice, accommodative all the time. What I apreciated the most was vegan breakfast just for me - right the day after they noticed I ate only fruits (and it was absolutely perfect too). We really enjoyed our short stay at Tolgyfa Panzio. Beautiful views of the woods, large garden, clean rooms and a lovely kitchen with everything you'd need. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating - she even drove us to the shop when we arrived on our bikes in the middle of a storm. We would definitely recommend it and would love to go back for a longer stay!

The house is clean and tidy, the owner is nice and cute. Many possibilities in the garden. Balaton beach is not close.

Small, family place. The renovation of the bathrooms is in progress. It is very ideal for groups of friends because of the large communal space (dining room). Olga is a very nice host.

Almost too calm environment, beautifully renovated, comfortable place, with the nicest host best ever !! Perfect, we relaxed! Thank You! Oh, and the elegant decoration of the bathroom was never copper !!! 😁

Amazing. Calm, peaceful, quiet. Garden with swing, table tennis and fireplace. The room is cosy and clean with great bathroom and huge porch. There is also a common area well equipped. It is affordable, and the lady (Olga) is very nice. Defenetly coming back, already booked. Thanks.

We had a very good stay at Tölgyfa Panzió. The bedrooms are nice and cosy, the owner is very friendly and helpful. The only problem is that the walls are thin and you can hear a lot of noise from the kitchen and other bedrooms.

Wanted to love it but too many basics missing. A very warm welcome and welcome drink. Nice location, opposite the lake. Building full of character and looks amazing. However, the room is not so functional. No real toiletries supplied, other than liquid soap. The thinnest pillow I ever found in a hotel left me with a stiff neck. The shower is unusable, so you have to take a bath. One tiny bin in the...

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff. Amazing views on Lake Balaton. Expect spacious and big room. Breakfast is basic, but good. No luxury and outdated but really enjoyed our time and the above positive feedback. Enjoy your stay 👍

We loved this place. The accommodation in the castle is beautiful. We had the appartment with big terrace, view towards the lake. I recommend staying in this appartment. Very nice hotel, in the middle of grapes fields, very quiet, very clean, very friendly people. The room and the bath were very clean, although a bit minimalistic, the bed is comfortable. No air conditioning and missing a fan. The breakfast is good and the coffee is great. We enjoyed being there.

Really nice staff. fine breakfast, cosy rooms and quiet pool always in the sun. 5 min from the beach - not really famous yet - therfore always place in the shadow.
