We made a last minute decision and there was room here, but we didn’t regret it. Spacious parking, cleanliness, air conditioning, stable wifi. We slept in one of the upstairs rooms, there was no one but us, so the 2 shared kitchens and restrooms were private. Helpful owner, shop 3 minutes walk, beach 10 minutes walk.

The staff is really nice. There is a well designed inrterior space, especially at the restourant. It is also really good that it is right next to the Lake.

I spent a nice weekend here with my friends. Traveling a little back in time, jumping through the ages, we were staying in a wonderful (old) watermill. It can be heated with wood. The hot water is electrically heated. You can grill, cook, etc. It is a very good place to relax and unwind. No wifi, no TV, but that's not missing here either. The host tries to fulfill all requests, he is very helpful!

It is recommended for those looking for spiritual treasures and those who like to be close to nature.

Nice and friendly staff. We had a super experience there doing wine tasting! The view to rhe wineyard is awesome, would definetely go back soon!

Very good hotel on the shady hillside of Szepezd. The smaller beach is about 5 minutes walk, the larger beach is 15 minutes walk. The bed is comfortable, the area is quiet, with good air. The care is excellent, the hosts are very attentive. It could even be the location of an Agatha Christie novel.😀

Very nice place to stay, lake view from every room, room was neat and clean, new furniture, big loggia. 5 stars goes especialy to the personnel, they’ve been all very nice, accommodative all the time. What I apreciated the most was vegan breakfast just for me - right the day after they noticed I ate only fruits (and it was absolutely perfect too). Dining room was very nice and also there’s the terrace...

The hotel is beautiful. The mens at the entrance are very friendly, they speak English. However, the people working in the restaurant barely understood the room number in English. The first day at dinner no one asked us for drinks, the second day at dinner the lady asked us for drink after we finished eating. The service in the restaurant could be much friendlier. As soon as they see an empty plate...

I uploaded my review as a picture. Check in between 2 to 7 pm, but the wellness center is open between 8:30 18:30. So we needed to go to hotel earlier.

A great hotel in terms of location, services, food, and the workers are very cooperative. The rooms are very clean. A suitable swimming pool and a view of natural scenery. It is very suitable for families and children. There is nothing to complain about.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Tolgyfa Panzio. Beautiful views of the woods, large garden, clean rooms and a lovely kitchen with everything you'd need. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating - she even drove us to the shop when we arrived on our bikes in the middle of a storm. We would definitely recommend it and would love to go back for a longer stay!

The house is clean and tidy, the owner is nice and cute. Many possibilities in the garden. Balaton beach is not close.

Small, family place. The renovation of the bathrooms is in progress. It is very ideal for groups of friends because of the large communal space (dining room). Olga is a very nice host.

Amazing. Calm, peaceful, quiet. Garden with swing, table tennis and fireplace. The room is cosy and clean with great bathroom and huge porch. There is also a common area well equipped. It is affordable, and the lady (Olga) is very nice. Defenetly coming back, already booked. Thanks.

The accommodation is clean, modern with new furniture and a beautiful bathroom. Rooms are air conditioned. Wi-Fi is free. The park is well maintained with lots of flowers. The hosts are kind and helpful. The resort is close to the center, but in the most beautiful street of Szemes it is located in a forest with ancient trees.

A great place to relax and unwind.

Nice, friendly staff. The room is clean and nicely furnished. It is next to the railway, yet a quiet calm environment. If you have to write something negative, maybe the fact that the shower head holder is fixed cannot be adjusted. This is inconvenient for people of non-average height.

One of the best places to stay at Balaton. The staff is excellent and the owner is very freindly. The rooms are highly clean and are niceley renovated. The rooms are also equiped with air conditioning. And it also has wifi.

The lady who received was very kind, the room / bathroom clean and tidy. Unfortunately, TV didn’t catch a single transmitter, ants were at war everywhere 😁. WiFi is slow and intermittent.

Dear owner and staff welcome all guests. The rooms are nicely renovated, suitable for a peaceful rest, with air conditioning. Opposite the room, the restroom shower cabin was in clean and beautiful condition. The accommodation is not far from the beach, restaurant, shop, gift shops, train station.

We were here in August, leaving with mixed feelings: the room was clean, but since we were upstairs and there was no air conditioning, the heat was unbearable. The discomfort was exacerbated by the stench emanating from the spa, which probably took off from the wellness. There is a perfect hotel, the sauna is good, there is a separate sauna seance, they cook gently and the surroundings are beautiful.

I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. Service and cattering - lovely. Wellness is very nice!!! Kids playroom. Clean pools. And very nice food! Can only recommend it. Thank you Szindbad hotel, for such a lovely weekend.

Good place for weekend relaxation.

It's a nice place, but nothing special. The prices are okay, it's cheap. So don't expect fancy things. The food relatively okay, the rooms are more or less clean. The shower, that's bad. The water smells for a minute, I don't know why. It has a Spa area, with sauna, aroma cabin, not tubs.

Perfect place for rest, you get what you paid for. Staff are friendly and helpful, even you can create a disco for the night. Great environment, places to take your seat and talk. Balaton is nearby even by walk.

August 2021. Hospitable inn, rich delicious breakfast, quality clean rooms. They are open to requests with kind service. Next to the main road, so the rooms facing it are a little louder. I can recommend it to everyone

I was looking for accommodation for one night and I am very glad I chose this. Real family hospitality, laundry cleanliness, you can park your car in the yard. Breakfast can also be requested. I was in a single room, but they also showed me the others which are beautiful. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality and to whom I can recommend it!

The villa is located a few steps from the beach, a few minutes away from restaurants and markets, the owner is incredibly friendly, the room is nice and clean, the breakfast delicious... I first visited in 2015 and this is definitely not the last time.

They are very nice people. Delicious food for breakfast. One thing that was a struggle was that we even heard the bathing of the 3rd Room at midnight. Unfortunately, snoring could also be heard in the next room.

Nice location around the forest, very peaceful where you can recharge your batteries. The food is good but on the pricier side. Facilities: - great swimming pool and wellness (sauna, jacuzzi) - you can rent bikes, scooters and have a massage at a reasonable price - ping pong table and tennis court near the pool plus a playground; some may be not free - at the sublevel there is a fun room with darts...

Very nice place. The beach is circa 400 meters away which is further than what you would expect from the adverts but the hotel pool makes up for it. The food was OK. They have a bowling alley which is nice. But not so nice if your room is above it. And I mean 2 floors above it. So ask for a room as far as possible from it.

I expect more services from a 4 star hotel... Nothing in the room, no water, coffee machine, the fridge is empty... And quite old furniture

It is a good hotel with quiet and air-conditioned rooms. The air-conditioning is a bit weird, though, as it is located in the bathroom. The food is very good and you can take as much as you want. The welness is very good also. The parking is too small for the amount of rooms they have. I don't understand their pricing policy, they told me they will send me discounts for the next year and it turned...

We stayed here for a week and loved the place. The small private beach is very neat, the staff is super-friendly, and our balcony had a lovely view of Balaton.

We arrived in one of the worst thunder storms in living memory and they were outside waiting to help us in with our bags! The room was clean, spacious and the breakfast had something for everyone. The staff spoke either English or German. There was a children's playground just down the road on the waterfront. The neighbouring towns were within walking distance (although a car or taxi might be better...
