We spent our summer vacation in Zebegény in this hotel. We had a nice welcome. The fresh smell of the bedding in the room and the cleanliness really created harmony for us. The Breakfast deserves a big letter...Aunt Gabi and Uncle Laci, their direct kindness, attentiveness and love are boundless, The buffet breakfast, hmm, when I think about it now...simply cannot be expressed in words..Each breakfast...

We spent 3 nights and Aunt Gabi captured us with her kindness from the very first moment. His first question to the children upon check-in was what they would like for breakfast. You don't come across this much anywhere else. This is not industrial tourism here, you are not a guest here, you are the guest. Kedvesek és segítőkészek a házigazdák. Jó a környék, csendes, pihentető. Jók a lehetőségek a túrákra, látványosságokra (is). A tisztaság szempontjából is rendben volt a szállás, kellemes virágillatú ágynemű fogadott. Összességében jól éreztem magam, családommal is visszatérek.

We had a good trip with my family. We had a good time in the guest house, the kids really enjoyed being able to sleep on a bunk bed. And ours had a very good mattress. The flowers were beautiful. Thank you for your kind hospitality! :)

Terrible costumer service. We did book it in the morning of Saturday to scape from Budapest for the weekend. We’ve arrive at 3pm and nobody was there so we did call, they said that they will be back in 1 hour and a half and they will call us back. So we’ve decide to go for some food carrying our luggage. Gyönyörű a kilátás a teraszról és az erkélyről is. Tiszta,otthonos, nemrég felùjított állapotú a nyaraló, valamint jól felszerelt: konyhai eszközök (tűzhely, sütő, hűtő, kávéfőző, mikro, nyàrsak),pokrócok,kinti és benti étkező,papucsok, bicikli, wifi. Lovely host, great place, spacious yard and majestic building. The room had a few spots on the furniture (wear, peeling of the skirting board), but the overall picture is still very good.

Really close to the ferry crossing, so easy to walk with heavy bags. Three-star guest house. Paper-thin walls, low equipment, and the cleanliness is not spotless. So 3 stars... The location is excellent. I do not recommend it for a longer vacation, but it is ideal for a night or two because of the great location and reasonable price.

You can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. Whether you can sleep well depends only on the goodwill of the other guests. A lovely location with great views from the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated that they took care of arranging rides and so forth for us (we don't speak hungarian). The spa is delightful and the rooms are clean and very quiet at night.

Very nice place, good rooms, very helpful and kind staff. The kitchen is good and plentiful. The services offered (Renaissance dinner in a restaurant nearby) are interesting. You can make nice trips in the area. You can reach Szentendre, Vác, but even Slovakia by bike.

A full spa experience. It was very nice. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price. It is a true spa with multiple pools and types of saunas. The room was large with a nice desk and a full kitchen. Small balcony. Very convenient to the sights. Convenient parking. The food was good. A good place to stay for a few days to see all of the Danube Bend.

The room is quite large and equipped with a kitchen, but the facilities are relatively old. The hotel is suitable for local people to come on vacation. There is a swimming pool, a large dining area, and a wide variety of breakfasts.

Not enough table in restaurant, auto reservations not working at all. Handle the situation well. Meal is great.

Food was great. The shower head was mostly clogged up, and there was a drawer in the kitchen that could nkt be opened. It was nice that we were able to rent bycilcles, however they could have used with some basic maintenance.

A quiet, peaceful place, impeccable cleanliness, polite, kind, helpful staff, an almost incomparable buffet breakfast. Pets are welcome. I can only recommend!

There is a separate parking lot at the pension and at the hotel. They are very close to each other, the wellness area is very well equipped. In the room next to the restaurant, there is a play corner for the little ones, as well as foosball and ping-pong tables. They waited for us with a varied and divine breakfast the next day. Made with quality ingredients. The staff was also very nice.

Very nice and helpful staff, clean and well equipped apartments. From this year, own jacuzzis belongs to some apartments. We were here two times during the pandemic, when it was allowed by the government.

We had a great time with my partner, our host was a very nice and helpful lady who waited for us every morning with delicious coffee. The apartment is quiet, clean, well-equipped, with easy access to the city center and the citadel. There is also a cute watchmaker. I value this accommodation to the maximum. 5 out of 5 points.

I feel bad giving 3 stars since the hotel itself is not that bad. It's clean and tidy and the staff is super nice... But.. comparing with other hotels in the same price range is far behind. Room cleanliness definitely could be improved. There was a massive spiderweb in the heater, also spider lived in the shower. We killed several stink bugs... Bed was not very comfy, but room had a nice view. Definitely wouldn't call this hotel a "wellness" place, because having a mini pool doesn't make it such wellness

Twas a tiny attic room. The 1 sqm shower (dont drop the soap)!. Wifi hopeless. Nice staff. Old building. No lift. Went to the hotel restaurant for dinner, was obviously invisible as no staff made any contact, so left after 10 minutes; went next door to Renaissance Restaurant (great meal, attentive staff). Tourism is a competitive business.

The staff were very kind. Our room was good enough, but the bathroom was a little bit low quality. And there was some noise at night. And the kitchen was in the next to the room and the stairs, of course we could hear all the steps on it. Big plus to the guy on the reception, he was very polite and kind.

This hotel supposedly is a 4 star superior hotel, but I would give it hardly 3 stars. We arrived on a Monday and stayed till Friday. Tuesday late afternoon I informed reception that our room was not cleaned. They sent someone who emptied the 2 bins in the room and - because I asked her - made up the beds. The other days only the bins were emptied. Beds were never made up, bathroom was never cleaned...

Everything is very nice. The hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms are beautiful and clean. The spa is spacious and well-designed. Food is delicious! However, there is one aspect that is quite uncomfortable: most guests in the saunas do not respect sauna rules. Almost everyone wears bathing suits, and some even wear flip-flops inside the sauna. We visited the hotel several times. It is gradually being renovated, from the new interiors of the rooms, the restaurant to the new sunbeds by the pools. The service in the restaurant has also improved. The chefs deserve an award as the cuisine is excellent. Excellent Hotel close to many trails, close to Budapest and several historical sites. Has pools, wellness, and spa, and serves solid food in a beautiful location. Well worth a visit.

Really weak value for money, definitely not a 4-star accommodation. They change towels only every third day, so you have to visit the spa three times with the same towel (quite unhygienic). We stayed for 6 nights, during which the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The room wasn’t hovered, the bathroom floor wasn’t swept neither washed. Everything was absolutely perfect and comfortable. I liked the different fascinating scents. The view was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and helpful. I honestly recommend to everyone :)

We were there for a family gathering on Sunday afternoon, for a great little brunch. There was a very wide selection and very good quality food on the buffet counter. There was also a separate pasta counter where a beautiful chef prepared the right pasta dishes for us from the selected ingredients.

After last year's fire, Silvanus has reopened - although renovations are still ongoing. The final completion of the project is expected by the end of May: all rooms and the renovated outdoor pool will be in use. We were in the Spa years ago, but we were already very curious. We were not disappointed!

Most beautiful, special environment, friendly and helpful staff, huge variety of excellent food for breakfast and dinner, well equipped , very clean, spacious bedroom, nice "playground"-room for kids of different ages, spacious halls where you can get coffee or read your book, good wellness/ bath unit.

Amazing place. There is even a playhouse - which is not really advertised and our kids loved it - useful :) - they have animator, too there. The new year's eve party was nicely organized - particularly loved the jazz music nights.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfy rooms with great views. Service was amazing. There is a nice games room with pool, ping pong and lots of board games for the family to play in the evenings. Located right in nature with lots of nice walks easily accessible. Highly recommended.

Hotel very average. The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price.
