Everything was absolutely perfect and comfortable. I liked the different fascinating scents. The view was breathtaking. The staff was friendly and helpful. I honestly recommend to everyone :)
We were there for a family gathering on Sunday afternoon, for a great little brunch. There was a very wide selection and very good quality food on the buffet counter. There was also a separate pasta counter where a beautiful chef prepared the right pasta dishes for us from the selected ingredients.
After last year's fire, Silvanus has reopened - although renovations are still ongoing. The final completion of the project is expected by the end of May: all rooms and the renovated outdoor pool will be in use. We were in the Spa years ago, but we were already very curious. We were not disappointed!
Most beautiful, special environment, friendly and helpful staff, huge variety of excellent food for breakfast and dinner, well equipped , very clean, spacious bedroom, nice "playground"-room for kids of different ages, spacious halls where you can get coffee or read your book, good wellness/ bath unit.
Amazing place. There is even a playhouse - which is not really advertised and our kids loved it - useful :) - they have animator, too there. The new year's eve party was nicely organized - particularly loved the jazz music nights.
Excellent hotel and staff! Beutiful panorama. The food is delicious, high-level service. Many kinds of drinks and coffees. Jacuzzi and pool have perfect temperature. A great variety of programs and excursions, the most suitable place for active rest.

We were in Visegrad for the Buhurt (medieval style fighting) championships. We chose Hotel Visegrad because it was an easy walk to the Palace grounds where the competition was being held. We travelled to Visegrad by public transport from Budapest airport - and all went very smoothly. We had booked two rooms to accommodate our family - both were clean and comfortable - and the air conditioning was...
The hotel and facilities were first class. The staff were very professional, especially David who helped make a birthday celebration very memorable. Tibor Zellor (owner) was very welcoming and ensured that we had a wonderful stay.
A lovely location with great views from the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated that they took care of arranging rides and so forth for us (we don't speak hungarian). The spa is delightful and the rooms are clean and very quiet at night.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Early check-in was available. Nice restaurant with plenty of choices for breakfast. Had a complimentary free dinner. Laundry and iron were done for free as well. Nice and cozy atmosphere in the hotel and around it. Thank you very much for our wonderful stay!
Very nice place, good rooms, very helpful and kind staff. The kitchen is good and plentiful. The services offered (Renaissance dinner in a restaurant nearby) are interesting. You can make nice trips in the area. You can reach Szentendre, Vác, but even Slovakia by bike.
Very clean, comfortable room, very politika staff and good service. The Spa fa cikizés are good and the Royal dinner program was excellent.Quick check-in and out and we arrive earlier but our romos were already ready. It was quiet ,perfect place for relaxing

A full spa experience. It was very nice. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price. It is a true spa with multiple pools and types of saunas. The room was large with a nice desk and a full kitchen. Small balcony. Very convenient to the sights. Convenient parking. The food was good. A good place to stay for a few days to see all of the Danube Bend.
The room is quite large and equipped with a kitchen, but the facilities are relatively old. The hotel is suitable for local people to come on vacation. There is a swimming pool, a large dining area, and a wide variety of breakfasts.
The staff were great very helpfully
Not enough table in restaurant, auto reservations not working at all. Handle the situation well. Meal is great.
Food was great. The shower head was mostly clogged up, and there was a drawer in the kitchen that could nkt be opened. It was nice that we were able to rent bycilcles, however they could have used with some basic maintenance.

This hotel supposedly is a 4 star superior hotel, but I would give it hardly 3 stars. We arrived on a Monday and stayed till Friday. Tuesday late afternoon I informed reception that our room was not cleaned. They sent someone who emptied the 2 bins in the room and - because I asked her - made up the beds. The other days only the bins were emptied. Beds were never made up, bathroom was never cleaned...
Everything is very nice. The hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms are beautiful and clean. The spa is spacious and well-designed. Food is delicious! However, there is one aspect that is quite uncomfortable: most guests in the saunas do not respect sauna rules. Almost everyone wears bathing suits, and some even wear flip-flops inside the sauna. There are large sweat stains on the wood because people...
We visited the hotel several times. It is gradually being renovated, from the new interiors of the rooms, the restaurant to the new sunbeds by the pools. The service in the restaurant has also improved. The chefs deserve an award as the cuisine is excellent. There used to be two pools marked as thermal, now it is only one and it feels even the one with a lower temperature. Unfortunately, no one regulates...
Excellent Hotel close to many trails, close to Budapest and several historical sites. Has pools, wellness, and spa, and serves solid food in a beautiful location. Well worth a visit.
The overall experience in your hotel was good. The rooms are nice. The spa area aswell. I received 2 absolute nogo during my stay. Both are related to the restaurant. 1. the dinner is open until 10pm but some colleagues started to cover/close the buffet area already at 8:30 pm while people were still eating. It was loud and disturbing. 2. out waiter smelled like cigarette smoke. Imagine eating your...
Really weak value for money, definitely not a 4-star accommodation. They change towels only every third day, so you have to visit the spa three times with the same towel (quite unhygienic). We stayed for 6 nights, during which the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The room wasn’t hovered, the bathroom floor wasn’t swept neither washed. There were no slippers in the room - what is pretty much the standard...

I feel bad giving 3 stars since the hotel itself is not that bad. It's clean and tidy and the staff is super nice... But.. comparing with other hotels in the same price range is far behind. The wellness is small, the Jacuzzi is basically just heated water outdoors and it's constantly full of old people (not that I have a problem with that but if you planned a romantic getaway with your SO this is...
Room cleanliness definitely could be improved. There was a massive spiderweb in the heater, also spider lived in the shower. We killed several stink bugs... Bed was not very comfy, but room had a nice view. Definitely wouldn't call this hotel a "wellness" place, because having a mini pool doesn't make it such wellness
Twas a tiny attic room. The 1 sqm shower (dont drop the soap)!. Wifi hopeless. Nice staff. Old building. No lift. Went to the hotel restaurant for dinner, was obviously invisible as no staff made any contact, so left after 10 minutes; went next door to Renaissance Restaurant (great meal, attentive staff). Tourism is a competitive business.
The staff were very kind. Our room was good enough, but the bathroom was a little bit low quality. And there was some noise at night. And the kitchen was in the next to the room and the stairs, of course we could hear all the steps on it. Big plus to the guy on the reception, he was very polite and kind.
A nice, fancy place, tiny but clean and comfortable rooms. Staff is simply amazing and the kitchen is great! First class service, great atmosphere! ??????⛴⛰?

The hotel is very good. Beautiful place. It's exactly located in the bank of the river. To slovakia, it's 15 minutes of drive. Foods are nice. For vegetarians, the options are less. Greetings are fine. View is nice
Hotel very average. The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price.
The hotel was beautiful, everywhere was spotlessly clean, the spa was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful, kind and polite. The food was delicious, the room was clean and beautiful. The only negative experience was that the wifi did not work (did not provide internet), and the TV channel scale was not too wide.
The bed is really comfortable. The pillows are very fluffy. The bathroom is clean and big. The hotel itself is very beautiful and clean. The view is amazing. The food is delicious.
Really nice building and rooms, SPA, delicious Hungarian cuisine, very friendly and helpful staff, lift. Rooms require little bit renovation, poor wifi quality. Modernize it a bit and it will certainly deserve more than ***
I’ve heard and read in advertising about this „excellent” hotel so we wanted to try it. We spent 2 nights there and it was a bit dissappointing for us. Everything was O.K. amazing location in the middle of the forest. Good variety of food for breakfast and dinner, including always some special touch (e. hummus or egg cream for breakfast) Bowling, pool, table tennis games available. Free bob for kids was available. Very big playroom for kids. Nice staff, clean rooms.
The hotel offered all the basic amenities you'd expect, with a fairly small wellness section, with all the basics such as pool, sauna, aroma/salt room, etc. Also on offer is a bowling alley, and a few bars. Rooms were comfortable, with a balcony, a nice view, and clean bathrooms, but little in the way of sound proofing. The surrounding area is quiet and beautiful, perfect for hiking. Wifi access...
I was able to spend 3 fantastic days here with my family. It was the best holiday of my life so far, although we have been to many places before. Price / quality ratio is not that good. The location is very good especially if you like to hike. The rooms are ok, not great. Wellness is basic, but has everything you'd expect: Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam. We paid for half board, food was tasty and plenty. We stayed in this hotel for one night during our cycle tour from Vienna to Budapest. Nice modern hotel, friendly staff, excellent, quiet and clean room, great breakfast with lot of choice. We did not use the wellness facilities. Ideal place to visit the city. We enjoyed our stay !
Very good location. We liked the high quality saunas and excellent cold plunge, but avoided the pools since they were mobbed by kids! Ditto for breakfast... This place caters to families, so go early if you want to avoid the noise!
Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast and nice bar. It is in a good location to get from the Castle . There is a playroom for kids, and it is attached to an aquatic facility with pools, slides, a lazy river and a hot tub. My only disappointment was the hours for the gym. Since it is attached to the aquatics facility, it doesn’t open until 830 am. I would have loved to use it around 630-7
The room isn't very large, but it feels cozy. It includes a spacious comfortable bad, brand-new furniture, and up-to-date plumbing. The room is excellently soundproofed. The hotel itself is contemporary and spotless. The staff members are both amiable and professional. Very pleasant stay and experience. Spent two nights with our 2-year old and everything was perfect. The hotel has fair rooms that are pretty neat, a good cuisine, and it is in a great place to almost all the things to see. It is a shame that after you get your accommodation, you do not get access to the hotel spa only by paying ( 10 euro/person). Instead, you can go across the street to te city bath for free. I belive this is outrageous. It's really shameful. This is why I gave this poor mark for...
The hotel itself is very good. However, elevators, only 2 if you wanna go to the underground garage. Upon check in and check out, we had to wait 20-30mins to be able to get up and downstairs. Food selection is good but not all of them are as delicious as they look. Overall, a good experience though.
For this price (70-80.000 huf ~200 eur/night for a double bed): - no wellness, you have to walk to the other side of the road to the pool - no londiner "bell boy" service, you have to pack your own stuff. Otherwise nice, clean rooms, great breakfast.
The bar of the Hotel is not managed by the Hotel management! This is a pity because they are acting very arrogant. It seems that you have to fall on your knee if you want to be served! Great family friendly hotel. Great value for money. We stayed 5 days and it was relaxing for grown ups and exciting for kids. We will definitely return.
It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel...
The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.
I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).
The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.
The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

Urgently needs upgrading!! Excellent location and friendly staff.
- Kind of fine. - new refurbished, clean - beds ara old and not comfortable - upper rooms with good view but no lifts - no heating - no hairdryer - no lifts - far from the city centre - silent area - ex famous singer house - public transport connection existing 24 hours but during the day takes 70 min to ge to city centre - prefer if you stay in Budapest more than 3 days
...serious value for money but the venue really matches the pricing, not great but at this price point it is good value...
