Villa Athena was amazing. How incredible to be right inside the Valley of the Temples and to be able to view the ruins from your breakfast table and lit up at the dinner table. Our room had a private entrance to the garden and the pool which was completely unexpected.
The incredible service started on check in where were given a tour of the hotel including it's vegetable and herb gardens, and continued...
A very clean and nice hotel, lovely and professional service and top location with a private entrance to the temples! Nice pool area and beautiful plants and surroundings. Only downside: the room we got (an upgrade!) for about 600 Euros was facing the parking and was not really 5star standard. The whole hotel is getting a bit old /80s (stylewise) and has too expensive (F&B, services, etc) for what...
My husband & I enjoyed an MOST INCREDIBLE stay at Villa Athena. The location is THE BEST with spectacular views of the temples from our very own room! We are so grateful for the very generous upgrade for our honeymoon! This hotel has private access to temple grounds, allowing up to skip the cue. The grounds of the resort are a showcase themselves, and the staff were so welcoming. We also loved being...
From the minute you walk in you are greeted by the staff. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We had a lovely private courtyard which was delightful to sit and sip wine and read. We decided to have relaxing facials and massages. The food did not disappoint. The chef was very creative with dinner. The views of the temple from the property were phenomenal. I only has one negative and that...
Room was nice. We were upgraded to a suite with temple view. Pleasant surprise. The hotel has private access to Valley of the Temples, which was very convenient. Breakfast was exceptional! We were greeted with smiles often! I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Best hotel I’ve stayed in all my trip to Italy. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are amazing, staff is very nice and nothing can beat the location inside the park and the views to the temple. Breakfast 10/10 and also lunch and dinner were amazing. If you are in the area don’t hesitate to go!

The staff here were great. The reception upon arriving was a helpful gentleman and he got a colleague to help me with my luggage. The pool area is huge and very well maintained... pleasant pool attendant who was gracious to all. My room was fine, clean and enough space...great shower and storage. This is a popular tour group hotel so breakfast was packed and the choices good esp a good cappuccino...
The room was nice but it was hot. The staff does not turn on the AC until June. Consequentially it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit in our room and we had to open the window. A member of the staff also forgot they knew English when my mom asked them about the AC - apparently a question they didn’t want to answer.
Great pool, nice staff. Poor menu and if you're without a car it's like being stuck at hotel California. Bathroom very nice but rooms are dated and beds are poor.
This looks like it was a grand hotel...once...not anymore.
Everything about the hotel was great, rooms, food , service and grounds. Didnt get into pool but it looked lovely and relaxing.
Warning for anyone booking here. When booking and you order the Standard room, you may get a room that looks like the comfort (old) room. We expected the renovated standard rooms as all the pictures show. Except we (according to them) got a standard room but it looked liked the comfort room... In a shabby state with broken curtains, dirty and tiny bathroom and an disgusting airvent that was supposed...
Access to the hotel is a little complicated and is not very suitable. The rooms are renovated and are very cosy. The bathroom features a rain shower. The safe is very small and only fits a purse and keys. The breakfast is not great thing but the with fruit, pastries and hot buffet. The worst of the juices. Account with swimming pool and gym outside.

This is a very quiet and unique hotel. All 25 rooms have private swimming pools. The warm and thoughtful service plus the unique natural scenery of Sicily are worth staying for a few days. The restaurant charges a lot but the atmosphere is great!
If I go to Sicily, I will stay there for a few more days!
What a stunning place in a priceless location and with truly wonderful staff. The attention to detail was excellent. Can’t wait to go back and stay longer.
**A Perfect Blend of Luxury, Authenticity, and Great View**
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their genuine warmth and impeccable service. Their attention to detail and customer oriented approach truly set this hotel apart.
The great view of the Valley of the Temples from the hotel and our room was awesome. The hotel’s modern and elegant architecture seamlessly blends...
Everything about this place was amazing. The view was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and good-sized. Everything was very modern. We had a room with the two-person jacuzzi tub, which was awesome. The bathroom has an amazing shower. Robes, ginormous towels, lots of accouterments. There is a fantastic restaurant on the property that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you really don't need...
Really exceptional service and gorgeous grounds, superbly maintained. Great view of the temple of Juno from the restaurant and pool area as well as our room.
Special kudos again to the exceptional staff in the restaurant. From a delicious breakfast to attentively taking care of most every need - from water, to fresh pomegranate juice, to shade, they are true hospitality professionals.
Pricey but helluva place. If you can afford it while visiting Sicily plan for a night (check in already at 2 p.m. recommended => more time to relax). The location, the food, the bar, the pool, the big rooms, the service ... Wow!

We celebrated my son's baptism in this location; we had previous bad experiences from other local restaurateurs, so we repeatedly underlined our request to obtain professionalism and seriousness from them (characteristics which, to date, are not taken for granted or trivial), as well as good food. Beautiful place .. very kind waiters and good everything we ate ... congratulations to the Duo Doro for having animated the evening and making us have fun !!!

Beatiful garden with clean basic 3 star rooms. Room facing the street was noisy before mid night. I love the bright lamps and tea maker. But the room electric outlets are broken and dangerous. The group dinner at -1 level was okay.
The hotel is located on the main street thus too much noise. Our room was on a new section of the hotel so we had to go through the reconstruction site. In orded to use the elevator we had to wait 10min and then go up instead of down.
Helpful staff, great location (About 10 mins walk to both the temples and Agrigento old town), bright room and decent breakfast buffet. Big pool but we didn't use it. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant, too. Recommended!
We got a room upgrade and it was huge with a balcony overlooking the gardens but sparsely furnished. I don't know what standard rooms are like. Staff at reception were welcoming and helpful. In a good location for the Valley of the Temples and just a 15-minute walk up to the old town.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were so friendly and welcoming from start to finish. A special mention to Francesco at the pool bar—he was incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we were well looked after.

A good alternative to the overpriced hotels in Agrigento, about 20 min. driving distance from the valley of temples. A choice of good restaurants nearby (including the hotel restaurant), very friendly staff and large, modern furnished rooms. Very good value for money.
We had a fantastic stay at the Alba Palace hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very nice, and we had a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in/near Favara.
Really really great place especially for the price. Room was spacious and clean, with an AWESOME jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was great and everyone was friendly. Would 100% stay here again.
The hotel is central, clean, comfortable and just what you need for a short stay. Staff are friendly and courteous. Breakfast choices are ample for a hotel in a town of this size. Happy with our experience at the Alba Palace this time around and we will stay again if we return to Favara.
Relaxing and modern little hotel, in the center of Favara’s old part of the town. It is located close to the Valley of the Temples (15 minutes drive) and offers quiet evenings by a charming little square. Service was extra friendly and nice.
Beautiful and modern hotel in the historic center! The staff is incredibly kind and eager to meet any request. The location of the small hot tube is fantastic!

Absolutely amazing experience. We booked this place by chance while on our road trip of Sicily. We couldn't have chosen better. We stayed for two nights in this fantastic b & b where we were greeted with kindness and the owner treated us like her children.

Excellent accommodation, in the countryside, in a quiet and peaceful place.

Sleeping comfortably inside a real train station is once in a lifetime experience.
A well appointed room that suited my needs quite well. Being wheelchair dependent and having caught the train from Palermo to Agrigento the hotel being located at the train station made the transfer very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay here again.
I was surprised with the hotel (very good).
It is inside the train station. You enter the parking lot (it is included - very important!), and the hotel is located along track 5.

Great place to stay albeit a healthy walk to Agrigento. Restaurants and bar locally.
This property provided exactly what we needed to see The Valley Of The Temples. Easy walk down hill to the main entrance, nice restaurants next to the accomodation. Very safe, no trouble to park in front of the building for free overnight. Staff very friendly and helpful.
My husband & I stayed 1 night in mid-May 2025 to visit the Valley of the Temples. It was a convenient choice, about a 20 minute walk to the Juno entrance. The property and the room are very basic, nothing particularly charming. But it fit our needs and the staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet made our morning very easy.
Newly renovated rooms on 2nd floor with elevator, but exterior of building is old and seems dilapidated
Lovely location near the Valley of Temples and nicely renovated room. Only concern was the water temperature in the shower wasn’t consistent. Also only body wash in the shower, no shampoo.
A very nice place to stay. Closer to the temples than the town. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the wifi was often slow or intermittent. There are limited restaurant choices nearby but Trattoria dei Templi at the same location is excellent.
