Where to stay in Agrigento

Clean spacious room, excellent reception staff and we had a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant

Nice room clean but no kettle which was disappointing. Shower cubicle is average but at a strange angle. However the waiting staff made dining a pleasure. Nice choice of menu and pleasant staff

Has a pool so bring your own towel and a swimming cap if you don't want to be shouted at by the staff. Room cleanish, bed good. Pillows terrible and only one supplied per person. The location is amazing. It is literally only a 2 minute drive from the Valley of the Temples and maybe 5 or 6 minutes from the city center of Agrigento. There is also a cinema (open on the weekends) and a grocery store right next to the property. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. Rooms shabby, plaster flaking, walls scuffed, looked like it needed a coat of paint. Three small drawers for two people!! Metal coat hangers like you get with your dry cleaning. Requested walk in shower due to difficulty getting in & out of baths, was given a room with bath. Gardens & pool look lovely & restaurant but rooms let it down. Plus side was close to Valley of Temples

I randomly ended up there to have a drink on my way to somewhere else. We just ordered 2 spritz and, for a reason that is beyond my understanding, the waiter went above and beyond serving us appetizers and bruschetta in quite a way (see picture). 30€ for 2 spritz, not cheap, but cannot give any else but 5 stars.

Great location. The butlers don't seem very used to solo travellers but they will do their best. One remark I made about some disapointing food was treated appropriately. The swimming pool is quiet, not very big but quite enjoyable with the direct views on the temples. The direct entrance to the temples is very nice. Would visit again.

Due to errors by my fiance and myself we didnt manage to stay here. However when we contacted the hotel about our situation they were fantastic. Wonderful customer service and we hope to stay here in the future.

You pay for the location, and it’s worth it. Avoid the cheapest room with no view and is located at the ground floor and side of the bldg facing passage stair way, better off staying elsewhere and go there to enjoy sunset drinks a the open terrace. Dinner on balcony is romantic but their evening menu is underwhelming, especially the course. They have much better lunch menu. Their pool is quite deep...

Very expensive, went there because Google said they served vegan food. Not true, only one dish was vegan (caponata). Small portions, like an expensive restaurant. Interesting decor, situated over an old well (or made to look like it is an old well). Near the Temple Concordia, so that's nice. Sliding electric door to restaurant was difficult to figure out and bruised my fingertip when it finally opened...

Location location location! Hotel Villa Athena has that and more. The restaurant food is OK the breakfast selection is plentiful. The gentlemen who takes care of the LA TERRAZZA bar is the best host we have had on our journeys Bravo!

The view of the restaurant is incredible. The food is quite nice but not special, though the dessert "crispy apple" is really good and really interesting

The room was nice but it was hot. The staff does not turn on the AC until June. Consequentially it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit in our room and we had to open the window. A member of the staff also forgot they knew English when my mom asked them about the AC - apparently a question they didn’t want to answer.

Great pool, nice staff. Poor menu and if you're without a car it's like being stuck at hotel California. Bathroom very nice but rooms are dated and beds are poor. This looks like it was a grand hotel...once...not anymore.

Everything about the hotel was great, rooms, food , service and grounds. Didnt get into pool but it looked lovely and relaxing.

Warning for anyone booking here. When booking and you order the Standard room, you may get a room that looks like the comfort (old) room. We expected the renovated standard rooms as all the pictures show. Except we (according to them) got a standard room but it looked liked the comfort room... In a shabby state with broken curtains, dirty and tiny bathroom and an disgusting airvent that was supposed...

Access to the hotel is a little complicated and is not very suitable. The rooms are renovated and are very cosy. The bathroom features a rain shower. The safe is very small and only fits a purse and keys. The breakfast is not great thing but the with fruit, pastries and hot buffet. The worst of the juices. Account with swimming pool and gym outside.

I stayed just a week ago at the Blu Hotel KAOS and I already miss a lot of the holiday mood of this beautiful location, with its wonderful pool, and the friendliness of all the people who work in this structure, starting from the catering staff, the front desk, but the top according to me is represented by the staff of entertainment, always engaging, never overwhelming the guided very well by the head...

Stylish, comfortable resort with exceptionally friendly, helpful staff, really nice, happy atmosphere, oh and the food, again, exceptional, we had breakfasts and dinners there. Do stay there!

This Hotel is a Gem ! Very helpful, friendly and efficient staff. Nice room with terras (201). Beautifully layed out pool and gardens and a good restaurant. Recently opened so all is new and clean. I can't think of anything not in place.

Amazing experience in a natural and peaceful location very near Agrigento. Staff very extremely professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean, well furnished with a modern swimming pool and the breakfast is good. Perfect for a romantic escapade !

Really really great place especially for the price. Room was spacious and clean, with an AWESOME jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was great and everyone was friendly. Would 100% stay here again.

Relaxing and modern little hotel, in the center of Favara’s old part of the town. It is located close to the Valley of the Temples (15 minutes drive) and offers quiet evenings by a charming little square. Service was extra friendly and nice.

Our two-night stay at Alba Palace in Favara fit nicely into our planned tours to Valley of the Temples and Agrigento. Our accommodation with large jacuzzi was very comfortable. Rossano sent detailed instructions on how to get to the hotel. It otherwise would have been very difficult and complicated to find. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable, except that one morning they ran out of some hot items...

Wonderful hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff, we had a great experience with them. The rooms are very clean and beautifully looking. They offer for free valet parking because there is imposibile to find a parking space in that old area of the town. Be careful when booking this hotel. The website is misleading. The room was absolutely lovely, view from balcony amazing, and the front desk clerk very nice - however breakfast was not included despite it stating on their website in two places that breakfast is included and you eat in your room. Apparently there are two different rates: one with breakfast and one without, which I did not realize...

Absolutely charming, clean and perfectly located in the center of town. Dario is really warm, polite and fixed us the most generous breakfast. We had a balcony with views of a church and the ocean for a great price! You can walk to all the restaurants and bars in town and we had no problem finding free parking near by. I will definitely come back when we’re in Agrigento.

Very well located bed and breakfast that reminds to an old palace. The rooms are very big and clean and the staff very nice. You can enjoy your breakfast in your own balcony looking at the sea. Quality/price ratio exceptional. Highly recommended

Do not follow the directions of the navigator but call the hotel directly, they will be able to give you the right directions to arrive in front of the hotel. We got lost among the ruins and the narrow and bumpy streets of the old part of Favara. We slept in this hotel for one night, passing through Agrigento. In a quarter of an hour you will reach the Valley of the Temples. It is a beautiful hotel housed in a tastefully renovated building, well furnished, the room was spacious and clean, large bathroom with a nice large shower. Very good breakfast that can be had inside in the restaurant or outside on the terrace, rich buffet. Excellent value...

Good cleaning, very kind and a good deal. But, the food in restaurant is not too good. The fridge in the room doesnt rules.

This was a great location for Temple Valley an the stagg were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice gardens were comfortable for relaxing in the afternoon or evening.

The air conditioning barely worked. And the wifi in the room barely worked, and the wifi didnt work the first day in the rooms. The restraunt food was very good though.

Nice hotel. It is ideal if you need a short stop during your round trip. It is located at the top of the hill. The sorounding is not great and it is difficult to reach. Nice rooms, great breakfast and suoer pool.

Really nice B&B on top of hill. The view is amazing as well as the hotel staff who will help you with pleasure. 🙂 They serve good food at the restaurant.

We only stayed here for one night as we wanted to visit the temples in agrigento. The place has a wonderful view, very friendly staff. For us it was convenient they also speak english. We even got a (simple) lunch when we asked for it, as we had a 3-4 hour drive and were a little bit hungry. Drinks are cold and we enjoyed the swimming pool. See the picture of the wonderful view!

Room was very small with a noisy airco. Moreover, the shower was such small that it would be better to use it as a broom closet. However, 3 stars are given because the owner provided good service.

This place is the best, the people are great, the food is great. They we're super hospitable. Just know there are steep hills leading to this place so have you car or taxi drive you all the way.

Small and quiet hotel/b&b, but doing a really good job. Views are amazing, as the pool and the food/wine. Very authenticate and home cooked, some of the best food we had in Italy. Great location to access the Valley of the Temples, with great views of the Concordia Temple. The rooms are quite large and newly refurbished. Breakfast is basic. The building is bit old and not so interesting, as is the neighborhood. Ideal for a one night stop to visit the temples, but not so much if you plan to stay and visit Agrigento.

This is a truly bed and breakfast in a great location. Room size is great and it was clean. We had issues with the draining sistem in the shower, but it was remediated by Filippo so we could use it in the next couple of days. The bathroom lacks hangers... for towels, for the shampoo for the soap. We left them on the floor. ...a bit disgusting to say the least. I wasn't expecting luxury, but this is...

We spent only two days, but the Panoramica dei Templi B&B is a great place to stay. Excellent cleaning, I do not give 5 stars just because there are some precautions to be made to the bathroom. The hôtel is fully renovated, everything is new. The decoration is very modern compare to what you usually in Sicily. Beautiful views from the room. It is a very modern B&B, with all the comforts. We were 3 people. Great breakfast, and Barbara treated us phenomenally. On the balcony at night it was very cool and pleasant with the temples and the sea in sight. He also indicated a beach where we were great, without the stress of La Scala dei Turchi. Totally recommended. We would repeat if we came back.

This B&B is located 2 steps from the center, in a quiet area. Barbara takes great care of her guests. The rooms are magnificent, ultra clean. You can park without worries in the street. I recommend! Last point, the view is crazy from the balcony!

Our apartment was beautifully designed and was in perfect condition. Our host went to great trouble to give us the freshest pastries and fruit for breakfast. And the location is brilliant. The Valley of the Temples is a "must see" archeological site and some of the best restaurants in Sicily are to be found in the town of Agrigento.
