Where to stay in Agrigento

Antonella is a fabulous host, super welcoming and the house is absolutely incredible! Beautiful architectural details and large, airy, and comfortable bedrooms. Also, Antonella was very accommodating allowing us to park our bicycles inside overnight. 5 stars all around, highly recommend.

A lovely lady providing accommodation in her large and ancient house in the centre of the town. Our top floor room was spacious and well equipped and our hostess was quick to give us information and advice. There's no parking provided but we were able to find a spot quite close by. Would have liked to stay longer!!

The location is perfect. It's a beautiful family house, and the family is so nice. There are some cute cats that like to be pet. The room was beautiful with beams across the ceiling, big bed. Balcony and terrace.

The staff here were great. The reception upon arriving was a helpful gentleman and he got a colleague to help me with my luggage. The pool area is huge and very well maintained... pleasant pool attendant who was gracious to all. My room was fine, clean and enough space...great shower and storage. This is a popular tour group hotel so breakfast was packed and the choices good esp a good cappuccino...

The room was nice but it was hot. The staff does not turn on the AC until June. Consequentially it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit in our room and we had to open the window. A member of the staff also forgot they knew English when my mom asked them about the AC - apparently a question they didn’t want to answer.

Great pool, nice staff. Poor menu and if you're without a car it's like being stuck at hotel California. Bathroom very nice but rooms are dated and beds are poor. This looks like it was a grand hotel...once...not anymore.

Everything about the hotel was great, rooms, food , service and grounds. Didnt get into pool but it looked lovely and relaxing.

Warning for anyone booking here. When booking and you order the Standard room, you may get a room that looks like the comfort (old) room. We expected the renovated standard rooms as all the pictures show. Except we (according to them) got a standard room but it looked liked the comfort room... In a shabby state with broken curtains, dirty and tiny bathroom and an disgusting airvent that was supposed...

Access to the hotel is a little complicated and is not very suitable. The rooms are renovated and are very cosy. The bathroom features a rain shower. The safe is very small and only fits a purse and keys. The breakfast is not great thing but the with fruit, pastries and hot buffet. The worst of the juices. Account with swimming pool and gym outside.

A good alternative to the overpriced hotels in Agrigento, about 20 min. driving distance from the valley of temples. A choice of good restaurants nearby (including the hotel restaurant), very friendly staff and large, modern furnished rooms. Very good value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at the Alba Palace hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very nice, and we had a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in/near Favara.

Really really great place especially for the price. Room was spacious and clean, with an AWESOME jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was great and everyone was friendly. Would 100% stay here again.

The hotel is central, clean, comfortable and just what you need for a short stay. Staff are friendly and courteous. Breakfast choices are ample for a hotel in a town of this size. Happy with our experience at the Alba Palace this time around and we will stay again if we return to Favara.

Relaxing and modern little hotel, in the center of Favara’s old part of the town. It is located close to the Valley of the Temples (15 minutes drive) and offers quiet evenings by a charming little square. Service was extra friendly and nice.

Exclusive is a small Agrigento hotel with only three rooms per floor. Location is nice - right beside the train station which is at the edge of the main commercial street Atenea. It was unfortunate that at the time we were there, the road was being redone so guests had to take a roundabout way to get to the hotel entrance and then back up again. Very convenient, right opposite the train station, stylish design. Spacious. Small kitchen. Minus - no kettle. The linen had also seen some use, and was either not washed (there was a yellow dried stain on the duvet cover) or washed poorly, plus pellets

The decor is a bit strange, with kissing statues everywhere. The bed is huge. No blackout curtains, but it's good for early mornings in a small town. It has a terrace with a view of the sea. It's located on the slopes on the central train side.

Stayed with 2 kids. We were booked for 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment located next to main hotel and steps away from the center of the town. The apartment was modern , huge with an amazing view of valley of the temples from a Private massive balcony. The gentleman at the front desk was great as well. Parking right down the street is 15 euros a day.

Very clean decent room with good bed and bathroom. Nice continental breakfast. Parking across the road in the station car park is 15Euro for 24 hours. Everything works - wifi etc. Just on the outskirts of town. Helpful staff. Just a bed an breakfast place but very nice.

Hotel is situated in the best location, right across from the train station where parking is a available for £15 a day which is worth it. Perfect location right near the park with amazing views out to the sea and the temples. You can walk to the upper entrance of the temples too. Great buffet breakfast, with mimosas too! The room was spacious and we had a huge patio to look out the sea and temples. We had a car, so having parking right on site was awesome. Colleverde Park Hotel is a convenient place very close to Valley of the Temples. The room is clean and the breakfast was excellent. The grounds are surprisingly large and very nice, with good views of the ruins. Our room was relatively small but comfortable. The immediate area has a few restaurants within walking distance, but you are likely better off driving into Agrigento or to the coast to...

Loved it here. Stayed in a Panoramic Room which was on the top floor. Had fantastic views of the valley and a huge outdoor area. The room was lovely. The shower, fantastic! Hugely welcoming and friendly staff too. Would highly recommend.

Everything is very good, except that you have to rely on the car and the parking, which is free, is not very big.

Room soundproofing is not good

Villa Bellajo is a quaint but gorgeous Airbnb located on the Sicilian countryside. You can sit in the sun and enjoy a remarkable view of the Sea. If you are looking for a perfect getaway from the busyness of life, this is the place to go. The grounds are kept in pristine condition by the staff. Farmhouse with beautiful panorama. Pleasant swimming pool, unfortunately we could not take advantage of it because it was occupied by inflatables. Rooms a bit old, broken shower door, impossible to open the window of the room. Customer receptionist not particularly nice

We stayed for two nights in this fantastic b & b where we were greeted with kindness and the owner treated us like her children. The rooms are large, clean and tidy, but above all the homemade brioches are something spectacular. We will not fail to return if we pass by Agrigento.

Excellent accommodation, in the countryside, in a quiet and peaceful place.

The camper parking area is on a gravel bed with attached bathrooms. Very kind owners. The cost is 15 euros per camper. You can use the swimming pool attached to the bed and breakfast with a modest expense. Useful for visiting the valley of the temples.

Very nice room, very bright and with a view of the sea and part of the Valley of the Temples. 10 minutes walk from the center. Tiziana a more unique than rare owner. Very kind, very nice and extremely friendly. As breakfast in the morning he always brought us fresh croissants and cannoli. Rely on her for the choice of beaches and restaurants. Unfortunately the days were few but the stay was very pleasant, all harmonious and surprising, fantastic and welcoming hosts. Gisella and Tommaso are great and we felt at home! The place is strategic because it is right in the historic center and right above the nightlife !!

Gisella and Tommaso the owners are very kind and very helpful people, the rooms spotless and fragrant. The B&B has been recently renovated and equipped with all comforts. The steep and narrow stairs for access, albeit short, make it unsuitable for those with motor disabilities. Otherwise it is highly recommended. I will definitely be back.

Do not follow the directions of the navigator but call the hotel directly, they will be able to give you the right directions to arrive in front of the hotel. We got lost among the ruins and the narrow and bumpy streets of the old part of Favara. We slept in this hotel for one night, passing through Agrigento. In a quarter of an hour you will reach the Valley of the Temples. It is a beautiful hotel housed in a tastefully renovated building, well furnished, the room was spacious and clean, large bathroom with a nice large shower. Very good breakfast that can be had inside in the restaurant or outside on the terrace, rich buffet. Excellent value...

The structure is located in a central position in Agrigento but quite accessible even by car, a beautiful nearby square, a 5 minute walk away you can find free or discounted parking in the multi-storey building. We stayed two nights. We had a great time, the room is nice and clean. The landlord is very welcoming and advised us where to go for dinner and we ate very well. we went to the Scala dei Turchi and the Valley of the Temples, needless to say, they are beautiful places!!! Highly recommended

Very friendly hotel located in the historic heart of the city, the rooms are modern and clean, the staff is really very nice. The breakfast is very complete, you can choose what you want the day before. I highly recommend for a few nights!

We had a large room and bathroom, everything was spotlessly clean and looked as if it had been decorated yesterday. Our host was so friendly to pick us up after we had phoned him for help since we had lost our way in the historic centre of Agrigento. Guests are kindly requested to fill in a form fortheir breakfast wishes. Breakfast is served in on a tray in a large kitchen opposite the guests' rooms...

This hotel was excellent. The room was very nice. The location was terrific (centrally located near the bus station, good restaurants nearby and safe area). The food for breakfast was high quality and the coffee was some of the best we've had in Sicily.

Great stay at Francesco's Hotel. Great position, close to train and bus station and in the main boulevard of Agrigento with unlimited view over the valley and until the sea. Never will forget Twizy electric car that allow us to move around and inside Agrigento. Just a couple of days. It was a pity that clouds and rain don't leave us for all the time :/ For that, we would came back ;)

We had a small balcony overlooking the main street which we liked, though be warned that it gets very noisy out there on Saturday nights! Stayed one night, good location in center of old town. Clean room, water pressure a bit low, bed a little hard to our liking but fine for an overnight. Walking distance to train station, restaurants. Local bus to valley of temples. No included breakfast but easy breakfast in nearby pastry shops. Owner buzzed us in remotely when we arrived.

The location of Camere a Sud cannot be beaten. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street so we could watch life in Agrigento wander by.

Camere a Sud was a 20 minute uphill walk from the train station. Taking a short taxi ride may be advisable for some. We were fortunate that we saw Elvira at check in time as she was leaving for the day and did not return until we were leaving the next day. A beautifully styled room in a fabulous location. The b&b is located at the top of a 12 story building with private access to a wonderful terrace overlooking the old town, the valley of the temples, and the ocean. We stayed two nights here to see the valley of the temples. The hosts could not have been more sweet and accommodating. Great view from the rooftop terrace. My only issue was the parking was not great, but that's Sicily.

Quite a unique B&B on the top floor (12th) of a high rise apartment block. As you can imagine the views from the terrace are spectacular over the Valley of the Temples to the sea. Chiara and Lello are wonderful hosts, going out of their way to make your stay memorable. Yes parking is not easy but driving around Sicily, especially in the towns/cities is not for the faint hearted. Italian motorists...

This is not a hotel, a fact which is not obvious on booking. It is a bed and breakfast in a high rise apartment with four rooms for guests. We enjoyed the stay of two nights. The location is good, a short walk but out the back of the apartment block and up a dark passage and set of steps. I’m not sure I would have been comfortable if I’d been on my own. Spooky. Best breakfast in the whole Sicily (and I travelled a lot during the 14days I spent there). Rosa is an excellent host. The place is really clean and a convenient point to go to the temples valley. I highly recommend!

I was in this b & b only for one night (unfortunately). My friend and I had a great time! Very comfortable bed, nice and clean room. Mr. Enzo super very kind and helpful. Price more than fair! I recommend it!

The B&B enjoys an excellent position as it is located on the main historic road (via Atenea) full of bars and shops that make this area picturesque. It is located a few hundred meters from Agrigento central station. Nice place, nice owner, clean rooms and fair price. If I have to find a very small negative, the noisy exhaust.

The property is located on a small hill near Agrigento and is quite convenient for reaching the main tourist sites in the area. The location is very suggestive and with attention to detail, from the Moor's heads at the entrance, to the Sicilian pine cones and the chosen materials, all of which refer to Sicily. The B & b has a large land surrounded by nature. We had booked the family suite for 4 people...
