Hotel Oasis

Hotel is very clean. They had entertainment. Single beds are small. Breakfast is great. Location to the beach is fantastic. Dinner is costly.

We stayed here for three nights and loved being close to Alghero without being in the centre of town, while also being near the beach, and have the wonderful amenities like the pool, ping pong table, foosball, pool table and mini golf right there for fun family games. The breakfast every morning was wonderful, and we found the building extremely clean and the staff friendly and very helpful!
The walls are thin so we could hear our neighbors' televisions through the walls but nothing that kept us from sleeping. We found the beds much too firm but asked for foam toppers to make them softer and the staff were able to do so which saved us all!

Perfect hotel
Everything perfect, perfect breakfast with barist, nice clean rooms and everyone were realy kind…and great sandy beach just few minutes from hotel…

Good location
The hotel was in good location only a few minutes drive to the old town .The rooms were clean and spacious.The breakfast was very good a big selection of Fruits and continental pastries.

This hotel is better than we expected

Our room and the hotel facilities overall contained everything we needed without being extravagant

Nice hotel / Residence but rather noisy from disco / bar across the street in weekends, moreover you can hear what neighbors are doing very well

Great location for beach just opposite to hotel. You can walk into the centre of Alghero from hotel but can take upto 45mins. There is a Bus stop just opposite the hotel the bus takes under 10 minutes.
The rooms are a little outdated but is exceptionally clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully air-conditioned, mini fridge with complimentary waters on arrival. A lovely choice for breakfast from cooked eggs,bacon and sausages to fresh pastries doughnuts, pancakes with all the trimmings fresh fruit, cereals and yogurts. There is even a Barista serving fresh coffee. The staff are very friendly and accommodating with a good level of English speaking. A good size swimming pool clean and regularly checked. No hassle for sunbeds always available at different times of the day. Pool towels are available to hire at a cost from reception.

I have a bit contradictory opinion about Residence Oasis, and I will try to explain. Even though it is 4 star accommodation, it doesn't meet the level: rooms are spacious while furniture, windows, and doors are very old. We were first placed in the room that is close to bar, hence 2 nights we couldn't sleep because there was disco/loud music (disco is not everyday only on weekends). In additon the walls are so thin, and windows are not noise isolated (old style), so we also could hear noises from neighbour rooms (e.g. how windows/doors being opened/closed etc). After 2 sleepless nights, we were ready to leave the place, but first requested staff to change our room that would be far from the bar, which worked, and we could sleep. On the territory of the Oasis there are 2 bars and restoraunt, where is quiet good service and food. All staff/personnel of the Oasis is very friendly and helpful. As for the cleaning staff they were very friendly too, but we could not really see the difference before and after cleaning. :) they could leave garbage or wash just floor without cleaning toilet. The only justification is that yes it is hot season and the service generally in Italy is the same everywhere even if you tip cleaning staff. Good place for family vacation, but if you are sensitive to noises ask for room that is far from bar at least it worked for us. Our favorite place was shop with very friendly staff and owner, you can find almost everything you need there. It was not always possible to eat outside with child, hence we often could pick up some products there and cook something in the room: there are plates, cuttlary, cups, kettle everything you need if you ready to do some cleaning before and after cooking :). Despite of little matters we had wonderful vacation.

A little dated however it fits the bill in terms of comfort and location. Good for 1-2 day stay
