Hotel Oasis

This hotel is better than we expected
Well located. Nice service and breakfast.
Our room and the hotel facilities overall contained everything we needed without being extravagant

Nice hotel / Residence but rather noisy from disco / bar across the street in weekends, moreover you can hear what neighbors are doing very well

Great location for beach just opposite to hotel. You can walk into the centre of Alghero from hotel but can take upto 45mins. There is a Bus stop just opposite the hotel the bus takes under 10 minutes.
The rooms are a little outdated but is exceptionally clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully air-conditioned, mini fridge with complimentary waters on arrival. A lovely choice for breakfast from cooked eggs,bacon and sausages to fresh pastries doughnuts, pancakes with all the trimmings fresh fruit, cereals and yogurts. There is even a Barista serving fresh coffee. The staff are very friendly and accommodating with a good level of English speaking. A good size swimming pool clean and regularly checked. No hassle for sunbeds always available at different times of the day. Pool towels are available to hire at a cost from reception.

I have a bit contradictory opinion about Residence Oasis, and I will try to explain. Even though it is 4 star accommodation, it doesn't meet the level: rooms are spacious while furniture, windows, and doors are very old. We were first placed in the room that is close to bar, hence 2 nights we couldn't sleep because there was disco/loud music (disco is not everyday only on weekends). In additon the walls are so thin, and windows are not noise isolated (old style), so we also could hear noises from neighbour rooms (e.g. how windows/doors being opened/closed etc). After 2 sleepless nights, we were ready to leave the place, but first requested staff to change our room that would be far from the bar, which worked, and we could sleep. On the territory of the Oasis there are 2 bars and restoraunt, where is quiet good service and food. All staff/personnel of the Oasis is very friendly and helpful. As for the cleaning staff they were very friendly too, but we could not really see the difference before and after cleaning. :) they could leave garbage or wash just floor without cleaning toilet. The only justification is that yes it is hot season and the service generally in Italy is the same everywhere even if you tip cleaning staff. Good place for family vacation, but if you are sensitive to noises ask for room that is far from bar at least it worked for us. Our favorite place was shop with very friendly staff and owner, you can find almost everything you need there. It was not always possible to eat outside with child, hence we often could pick up some products there and cook something in the room: there are plates, cuttlary, cups, kettle everything you need if you ready to do some cleaning before and after cooking :). Despite of little matters we had wonderful vacation.

Room is basic but perfect and clean. Staff are so so so friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for beach and a short €1 bus ride to Algero. Highly recommend for family. Our kids are between 12 and 16 so they had free roam of the facilities. Ideal.

The breakfast buffet was well organized respecting CoVid restrictions, they had people serving so you did not need to worry about people and their hands on the serving utensils.

A fantastic location, 5 minutes from the beach, which you walk through via a small forest. Your also away from the other hotels, which makes the location that more better than the others. Your still close to the town though, a 30 min walk, a 15 min cycle, you can hire a bike from the hotel for 10 euro a day. A taxi ride is also 10 euros and only cost 10 euros too. One negative is the 6 euro a day air con charge, but you forgive them after a nice nights cool sleep. Great food, great pool, plenty of sun beds. A lovely place to spend a week.

Good apartment, two play grounds, two pool areas, minigolf and tennis at hotel. Less than two hundred metres from the sea with clear shallow waters. Near bus stop to old town, 10 minutes ride. Staff at reception fluent in English and very helpful. Check out from apartment early, 9:30 but hotel offers luggage storage and use of a shower room later in the day. Safe neighborhood.
