We were in Baia di Conte end July-beginning of August 2025 for 2 weeks. I think it deserves a bit of a more accurate review to really explain what is good and what less of this place. Loved the pool and had a great view of the ocean, a bit out of the way but we didn’t mind walking into town. The hotel is a bit older, so the interiors aren’t as modern as you’d expect from a 5 star hotel.

Such an amazing experience! First - as I am pregnant, asked for an early check in - no problem! Second, the pool is so clean that even in my state I was able to swim. Food was amazing, service, reception team… Rooms are super clean. Literally no remarks! If we ever come back to Sardinia, that would be the same hotel!

We spent 7 nights here and it was very welcoming! Staff is great and very polite, the breakfast is nice and has good variety and the rooms are classy, very in line with the rest of the city! We had the most amazing stay at this hotel for 4 x nights.We were given an upgrade to a sea view room despite it being their busy period. Very clean hotel. Rooftop pool included, but the water was very cold. The first set of towels is included. Fitness and game rooms are on the ground floor. The room has a minibar, kettle for coffee and tea, and slippers. We arrived very early at the hotel, around 8:30. We were able to leave our luggage and go to the beach.Toothbrush and shaving kit provided in the bathroom.

The Hotel Alma is in a fantastic location right beside the beach. The rooms are clean and adequate for a short break. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Pool was really nice too.

We stayed in room 401 on the 4th floor. The room was very spacious, the shower was nice, and we had a large balcony with a view of the sea. The bed was very firm but comfortable. The hotel is actually behind a not so nice looking apartment block, so we had to drive up a shared driveway, but the entrance of the hotel after that is very good. Staff are very helpful. The rooms have very spacious balconies. The internet was useless, near impossible to fine network name, and when you did, the connection was woeful. Does have a great pool area, but the area needs some shade cloth...

Had a wonderful stay here.( Oct 24 ) Lovely location , across the road from the beach, 10-15 mins walk from the old town. Rooms are lovely, great rooftop pool, gym in the basement, huge amount of choice for breakfast. Very pleasant staff with special mention to Rossano and Federica on reception, they go the extra mile for the guests!

Small to medium sized hotel with helpful staff. Large rooms with balcony, small triangular shower, some rooms with restricted sea view but overlooked by adjacent building on one side. Our room was 408. It was great! Staff is amazing, so helpful and nice! Everything is very clean and this hotel offers waaaay more than it costs!!! It is a great value for the money. The swimming pool, the rooftop, the food, the balcony - everything is awesome! And the best location in the town!

The room was ok, the location was good however we believed we had reserved a car park according to our reservation details. When we arrived there was no parking available. When we challenged this we were told someone must have made the booking for us which was both irrelevant and incorrect. It took over an hour to find a car park. We would not have booked this hotel had we known there was no carpark...

I have to praise this hotel! The entire staff working at the reception is extremely helpful! They helped us with choosing beaches, organizing excursions and everything else that came to mind. Sometimes we were even annoying with questions, but they were very helpful and ready to answer our every request.

We liked the location with a sea view, but because the hotel was along a road, there was a lot of noise in the morning. You couldn't sleep in in the morning. We also didn't find our room very clean.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Villa Piras. Our room was spacious and had clear view to the sea. The roof terrace has a spectacular view and jacuzzi was an extra bonus. The staff without exception was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from. It's a nice hotel if compared to others in the area. The light in front of the hotel lighted our room until midnight, the reason why you cannot go to sleep until 00.30. Then early in the morning, around 5AM because the hotel is near the street you can hear dogs barking, and people speaking loud.

If you rent a car would recommend to book parking with them in advance as parking on street is nightmare

Convenient location, there are buses to the airport and Poseidon Cave downstairs, and you can walk to the harbour and the old town

I had an amazing stay at Catalunya Hotel. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The restaurant served typical dishes, with fresh ingredients and impeccable service. Overall, the hospitality and attention to detail made my stay comfortable. Highly recommended!

We (family of 4 adults) spent a week at the Residence Picale. Very modern and well equipped. Air conditioning was superb. Shutters are really effective in keeping out the sun also. Very friendly staff! We left our bags here for the day and paid €5 per bag. We weren't staying at the hotel but they let us leave our bags here in their storage and were very helpful in giving us information on getting to the airport and they also booked us a taxi.

The close position with the centre of Alghero is a good point of this residence, the room had the kitchen and showeroom in the appartment. I have been there with friends. For a vacation with a group of people is not bad, but I can say that there are probably better choiches. Maybe with the swimming pool I was able to give a better opinion.

Clean hotel and able to store bags

We had a short stay over (check in at 22:30 and check out at 10:30 the next morning) but we were happy with the hotel, its staff and amenities.

Honestly the hotel is clean. The room is clean, quite spacious, cleaning was done every day. But for the friendliness of the people at reception... Wow. Afterwards it is well located, you can go to the beach in 15 minutes on foot there are many nice restaurants and bars. So mixed opinion.

The hotel is strategically situated, being at a 10-minute walk away from the two main beaches of Alghero: Spiaggia di Lido and Maria Pia (a very beautiful, pristine and white-sanded beach). The residence location is perfect, just 5 minutes form Alghero city centre, and with a view on the sea. The accomodations are very spacious and have all that is needed. Allthough sanitair and kitchen can use a renovation and upgrade soon. The swimmingpool is fine.

We had a nice stay at the vista blu resort but the houses definitely require maintenance: windows not closing, bathroom door not closing, paint scraping off the walls, parts of the kitchen broken. These houses would be really beautiful if the company would invest in fixing these issues.
