Our group of 14 stayed here 4 nights. We loved the location between the two large squares. There were many lovely outdoor restaurants nearby. Walking was very easy but there is also a small tourist train with headsets for touring the town. We did laundry one day - very close to the hotel. I was happy to return to Albergo Sant Emidio. The staff and service were excellent. The room was clean, the breakfast plentiful. I was greeted at the train station by a very nice gentleman who was sent by the hotel to pick us up. That was very helpful, as I am not too familiar with the area. The staff were very friendly but spoke little to no English. The rooms are most definitely dated. Keys are still used instead of key cards and you can hear everything from the halls and neighboring rooms as though the walls are paper thin. The breakfast is a typical pastry and coffee offering.

Nice welcome, nice location, small but comfortable with everything you need. I don't like the waxed bed because it's too hot and the air conditioner too loud. Overall 8 out of 10

Super central location, very comfortable, but the room (number 7) is obviously poorly insulated in the attic and therefore very hot. The air conditioning helps but is very noisy. The tub is too badly adapted as a shower and the toilet seat should be fixed. For a fee you can request practically any extra service (breakfast, laundry, etc.)

Also opening the window at night is not a good idea because there's a highway just in front of you. The staff at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and I felt very welcome.
