Incredibly courteous and guest-oriented staff. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located and has excellent value for money. Rooms very well soundproofed, extremely clean and well maintained, comfortable mattresses as well as luxury cosmetic products. Breakfast buffet with high quality products such as freshly squeezed juices, great coffee etc.. This hotel with its incredibly friendly staff is worth every penny.

The staff were very helpful. The day we arrived, a festival was taking place and driving to the hotel was not possible. However, they sent directions to a nearby piazza and, because we called them to ensure we were in the right spot, a staff person immediately came out to help us with luggage and then take the car to a parking ramp. So they made a potentially confusing situation very easy for us. The staff were helpful in other ways too, making restaurant reservations for us. We were very close to the main piazza, which was wonderful.

This boutique hotel is just charming and we were so surprised by how truly lovely it turned out to be! Small touches like soft music, croissants, coffee/tea and fresh fruit with water in the lobby area were gracious considerations for arriving travelers or guests. We stayed in room #102, which was quiet during our stay and very well~appointed. There is a safe in the room and a refrigerator if you desire to keep food or drinks cold. Our linens were carefully placed so they were easily accessible and clean. My husband is 6’1 and 175 lbs, so the shower turned out to be a challenge for him since it was a bit small for his size. We noticed the soaps and shampoo were of a high quality and their aromas truly delighted our senses. I opted to use the spa services downstairs for an added fee which were both luxurious and soothing. The breakfast in the morning had a good fresh variety, was delicious, and was also visually pleasing. I highly recommend this special hotel without reservation. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the entire environment was simply superb! Special thanks to the hotel for using paper sustainability products instead of plastics which sets a beautiful example for us all. Well done!

This is my second time visiting Ascoli, Italy, and staying at this hotel—and each experience keeps getting better. The service and staff are outstanding, always welcoming and attentive. The rooms are cozy, spotlessly clean, and create a truly comfortable stay. If you're planning a trip to Ascoli, this hotel is definitely the place to stay!

Gorgeous breakfast, one of the best I have ever had! Comfortable and spacious rooms. Central location and near to the central piazza, cafes and shops. The hotel is in a renovated old building. Showers with good pressure and the room was silent.

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful hotel in the centre of Ascoli Piceno. We had a lovely room on the second floor. Our room had all the comfort required. Our room was very quiet. The buffet breakfast is very good as well. The breakfast area is a bit tight and gets somewhat crowded tough. The staff at the reception was very kind. The hotel offers valet parking, please use it as there is no public parking nearby. Local restaurants and major sights are all within walking distance from the hotel.

Fantastic location near Piazza del Popolo at Ascoli Piceno, but not close enough to have all the noise bother you. Breakfast is fantastic and staff is wonderful and very nice. I would stay again at this hotel. However, the junior suite is on the ground floor and the windows are not insulated enough, so you get all the street noise. We asked for a room change and we stayed one night a small room (which the staff advised us of, but we preferred silence!) and then a double deluxe which was great. I would stay again at this hotel, but not in their junior suite. Staff was quick to resolve our problem. Please note that because this is a converted palazzo it has some flights of stairs so it might not be fully accessible, although there are elevators servicing all the rooms. They have private valet parking, so you arrive to the front desk, leave your keys and they take care of the parking of the car for a small daily fee. This was very convenient, as you can walk almost to all the good historic spots in town. I thought it was a great hotel, I highly recommend it if you are planning to visit Ascoli Piceno.

We loved Palazzo dei Mercanti. Great location round the corner from the main square. We booked a room with spa access included. Highly recommended, it's modern and was a nice place to relax and cool down in for a couple of hours. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good and there are plenty of lovely restaurants for dinner; try the famous Ascolane olives! We took the wee tourist train round town, good for seeing parts we could then walk to easily. Ascoli piceno was a lovely stop on our tour of Le Marche region. Thanks to the staff who were all so friendly.

What a beautiful little hotel and what a lovely and welcoming team. The room is terrific! Ours was a short stay but we’ll certainly be back. The valet parking was smooth and without incident. The breakfast was generous and the host in the mornings, Maria Magdalena, is a joy. We very much enjoyed the time in the spa area. Sincere thanks to all - see you next time!

The location is excellent, and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The food was so good and the breakfast is wonderful.. not getting 5 stars was spa - not hot enough, room lack of natural daylight in the room was the main issue, couldn't tell the weather until out of room. But this was the most wonderful of stays and definitely would go back again, as any of the above was minor in the context of the whole stay.. Well done by the staff and management of this beautifully run hotel in the centre of Ascoli Piceno.
