We just left there on a tour of Assisi.
The hotel was very nice. The service was mediocre. And the dinning room service was terrible! Breakfast was poor! I am in the food business and I know that they can do a better job of cooking bacon and scramble eggs than they presented to our group each morning. I am of Italian heritage and very proud of it. They give Italians a bad name. Many from our group on the second and third nights chose to go back to Assisi for dinner instead of at the hotel. 6 of our group did not go for whatever reason . Those six were deprived of their meal (prepaid for) by the kitchen because the others were not there. They should be terminated !

Not so pleasant place.. i booked 3 rooms at the same standard and the same price .. but the service of each room different and there is no standard.
Not every room have kettle for coffe or tea or standard water as they said in the web. When i asked , they said only some of the room have it.. and each have different size room...
But they dont publish it all at the web.
Even the carpet a bit smelly.. we need to open the window for circular air the reduce the old carpet smell.

Beautiful hotel. Stay here every year. But breakfast is getting worse every year. Imagine you have to ask for coffee. They don’t have a machine that you can use how much you want

The Highlight of My Trip to Italy
Staying at Hotel Cenacolo and visiting Assisi was, without a doubt, the absolute highlight of my trip to Italy.
The hotel is stunning, elegant, peaceful, and immaculately clean. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help with a warm smile.
Rooms are very comfortable and luxury, they have excellent air conditioning, I was finally able to sleep comfortably and stay cool.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The atmosphere is serene, perfect for relaxation and reflection, and the location is ideal for exploring Assisi and the surrounding area.
Assisi itself is simply magical. The beauty, the history, and the deep sense of peace that fills the town are truly unique. Walking through its cobblestone streets, visiting the Basilica of Saint Francis, and discovering the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis were unforgettable experiences that touched my heart.
I can’t recommend Hotel Cenacolo and a visit to Assisi enough. If you're traveling to Italy, make this part of your journey, you will not regret it.

Great Stay
Very clean and nice hotel, excellent restaurant, rooms large for Europe. Quiet area close to Assisi, will return. Parking available too.

Wonderful Hotel in Assis
A wonderful hotel in Assisi. Comfortable and bright rooms, delicious breakfast and only about a 25 minute walk from Assisi. Highly recommendable.

A really good place! So close to the train station and even the bus station to Assisi right in front of the hotel. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommended!

This is the WORST hotel ever! The rooms are HOT! The air conditioning was not working. I thought when we came back from dinner, the room would be cooled down but no! I went to the front desk and asked if they could help with the air they said they were calling maintenance. By the time I went to bed, it was like a sauna in my room. I went back to the front desk and then they tell me that 2 of the machines are not working. I asked for another room that had air, and they said it was the whole hotel! Also one of the older men waiters at dinner was super rude! It was not a lack of understanding / translation issue, he was just plain rude!
I had to take a shower to cool down, and the water was so so cold
I mean I know I wanted to cool down, but I couldn't even stick my head under the water because it was so cold! There are also little flying bugs in our room we've killed 3 so far. I would leave and go to another hotel but we are part of a tour group.
There is NO coin laundry and NO pool.
They did have a good bar tender name Luigi he was very nice, friendly and accommodating!

This was our best stay at Italy so far. Family run was very spacious and the breakfast was amazing.
