We arrived at night, and in the room, only the entrance light switched on automatically. The floor and desk lamps were unplugged and had to be plugged in the dark before switching on. A nice enough hotel that puts it's guest on the eastern extreme of the historic city, but still well within easy walking distance of all you'd want to see in this beautiful city.

It has a very nice lobby. Good temperature everywhere, nice pool, kind staff. We were there for a big event with 550 people - the hall was downstairs and felt a little dark and tight at the back, front was ok. We had the whole hotel for ourselves which was nice

Expecially bad internet connection… and it is a congress center. Impossible to have remote access to meetings. The rest is ok.

The staff of Domus Pacis Assisi could not have been more helpful. Questions were answered cheerfully and knowledgeably. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was wonderful. I would recommend Domus Pacis to anyone going to Assisi.

Great stay near Assisi This is run by the Franciscans. The room was comfortable and clean, and at an affordable price. I needed a quick stay overnight, and this was perfect at a good price. There is a bus nearby to get into the heart of Assisi, and the shrine of St. Mary of the Angels is a one minute walk. Great breakfast also.

Very good value large hotel close to Assisi station. I had an ensuite single bedroom, which was overall good. Just a few small problems - it was a little bit cold, there was an intermittent flashing light on the ceiling, and soundproofing to the corridor was not great. Breakfast had allocated seating and only one coffee machine, but it was quite good for the price.

We stayed at this hotel while on a Perillo tour. This was the 2nd hotel out of 3 on the tour. The hotel is large with a pool in the back and great views of Assisi up on the hill. It is not close to anything within walking distance, so you will need a car if you are not with a group. It has a restaurant on site with a breakfast buffet each morning and a spa. The hotel sells 4 stars and does not deliver worse than 2. Bad service at dinner, with few staff. Reasonable breakfast given the difficulty of the team. We stayed here for three nights and everything was more than satisfying. The premises of the hotel are beautiful with a stunning view, perfect for sunset. I also really enjoyed the spa services they offer - they have a truly luxurious spa that you can enjoy privately with a reasonable price. Restaurant has a great menu of local dishes. Rooms are spacious and provide everything you need.

The views are amazing from the hotel. We had a balcony and loved the panoramic view. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is “historic”, which may mean a little dated, but the rooms are clean & spacious. Would recommend for a stay in Assisi.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Assisi. It was the best choice for us. It's located very closed to the cathedral. It has parking available. They offer breakfast at extra charge but it's worth the extra 20 euros. Staff are nice and very professional.

We go to Assisi at least twice a year and the Hotel Windsor is a fixed stop that we have never changed. It has an optimal location, a few meters from the Basilica and easily reachable by car without having to travel the internal roads of the town. Stayed here as part of a pilgrimage tour - and it was just lovely. The very warm Umbrian service, wonderful food served to us, and great facilities make me want to come back by myself soon. Can't recommend too highly - excellent location for the sights of Assisi.

The hotel per se was quite good. Our room was comfortable in every way. The bar downstairs had wonderful gelato. Our breakfasts had a good selection. Their baked goods were all excellent. My only disappointment was the two seated dinners our group had. The food was good but the service was lacking badly, possibly to staffing problems.

We stayed in Montepulciano in May and wanted to have a spa day as part of our two weeks in Italy. Luck would have it that, we discovered NUN in Assisi which was available as a day spa. It was an unforgettable experience to enjoy the NUN spa circuit for three hours and then have an amazing massage and for my wife the exfoliating scrub. Well situated hotel. Such a pitty it could offer more. Thumbs up for kind and willing staff. In my opinion there was always cold in rooms maybe the managment of the hotel expected warm April. Meals were finely prepared but the breakfast was really poor and this was quite disappointing.

Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were always extremely helpful and courteous. The view of the valley was amazing and the location was central to churches and close to the town square. The buffet breakfast had a good selection.

Spent one night here with my husband, the room is okay, the heating and bedding are fine, the lighting in the bathroom quite dim but it’s still fine with us, what exceptional is the lady on the front desk, she was very helpful and very nice with us while we were confuse about the location of the hotel and during our stay, cheers to the restaurant staffs during our breakfast too! Stayed overnight on May 29, 2024. The hotel room had a great view and the room condition was good. It's clean and the amenities are great. In particular, the breakfast was really hearty and delicious. Assisi is truly a very pure and honest city. I Will come again.

The grounds are so large that it feels like a private resort. The view of Assisi from the garden is the highlight of this accommodation. The rooms are of a reasonable standard. The owner is kind and nice. I visited in the winter, but I would like to visit again in the summer to experience the pool and restaurant. It is located at the entrance of Assisi Village.

We visited the Castello di Petrata for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful and it's a great location to explore Assisi. Just 15 minutes by cab from the town. Peaceful and secluded!

Wonderful surroundings. Very old building beautifully kept but be aware that it means you get creaking floor boards and noisy plumbing - all adds to the character! Receptions staff really helpful - just wished the serving staff smiled occasionaly.

Amazing views we stayed in the building with the patios because we like to have outdoor space to relax we had the end unit which is really nice and more private with an incredible view. This is a unique property in the middle of a National Park. Yes the road leading up to it is winding and narrow and rutted but again it is in the middle of nowhere and we have driven roads like this all over Italy to get to beautiful places. This hotel has small rooms and a small bathroom but it really is all you need. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. There are small balconies for fresh air. Food from the restaurant was good and plentiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located just across the train station which very convenient. The room temperature was uncomfortably cold inspite of high heat setting. Limited choices for breakfast. An attendant had to dole out the food; you are not supposed to be able to help yourself.

The five stars are for the location which is enchanting and above all immersed in nature and tranquility. The rooms of different styles and genres are particular but the bathrooms would need to be reviewed from a functionality point of view. Overall it is a good establishment.

The resort is immersed in the countryside, the road is easily traveled, the town is just under 10 minutes ... and about twenty from Assisi. It has a beautiful swimming pool where you can relax, you can have breakfast both inside the structure and in the garden, the complex as a whole is well kept, a small general refresh would make your stay more pleasant.
