Spent one night in this lovely hotel and surrounding town of Asti. What a helpful and accommodating staff. An elegant breakfast was served. Our view from the top floor overlooking the castle was perfect.

Amazing furniture, funky house with distinct and sprawling ~15 rooms. Easy walk to via Adelfi, the main pedestrianized street. 5-10 walk from the main piazza. GPS coordinates are a bit off, and it's surrounded by one way streets. Pretty staff too :)

A good place to stay. Positioned on a hill just outside Asti, it has a spectacular view. The rooms are decent, spacious enough and clean. They could do with a refurbishment, but are comfortable nonetheless. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Car parking is not a problem. The breakfast is okay. Overall recommended. I suppose during the summer, you can enjoy the swimming pool and tennis courts...

We were there for the weekend and what can I say!!! We had a great time! The staff is friendly and sociable. Always with a smile, which is not always found. The kitchen is excellent and well cared for. Of the location we can only say that it is a charm! In the middle of the green hills with a wonderful view. We dined out and together with the stomach we fed eyes and heart! Very romantic, neat and clean...

Old structure in a beautiful place but all services are a little bit old

It takes a bit longer than normal to get your first dish. Then I've got a portion of pasta! I was surprised, nicely explained waiter that I'd like it more if it could be more well done, took it back and apparently changed or maybe washed my pasta and boil it again. Gentleman brought it back with big smile and also with a lot of blackpeppers and cheese on the top. To be fair pasta was nice and I did...

The food was ok, but only one man to serve a big group, is not good. They have aslo problem to Split the Bill.

I'm so happy to have picked this hotel to stay in during our Piedmont trip. The rooms are beautifully modern and spotlessly clean. I watched the brigade of lovely staff cleaning other rooms as I passed by and they were meticulous. Everyone working at Hotel Lis is genuine and kind to their guests. The breakfast is beyond compare. What a lovely hotel! It is spacious, cool, and modern. Our lovely manager picked our groups luggage up from the railway station while we walked. (That was by prior arrangement, I'm sure, because this tour group uses this hotel frequently). The rooms are beautiful, and the a/c works well. The breakfast buffet would do honour to an ocean-going cruise boat.

We are traveling through Italy , this was by far the best hotel yet. The family owed business is extremely accommodating with everything they do. The breakfast they put out is beyond exceptional, homemade cakes and pasties , fresh juices , all kinds of tea and coffee. All and all a wonderful experience.

Excellent location for a family stay. Very comfortable family room. Great home made breakfast and lunches, with an nice fresh fruits of the season like blood orange or tangerine. Super friendly staff. Everything is done and chosen with great attention to detail. They promote no-plastic in the hotel. Easy to get to with metro, bus and tram.

This is your must stay. Apart from the convenience to everything - train and parking - the rooms are lovely, so comfortable and perfect for your base to explore Piedmont. Your hosts are a family who have owned this hotel for over 60 years and they truly love what they do. They know the area and will help you discover it. The breakfast is fantastic also. The owners are so helpful, kind and nice. The hotel is in the right place in the town. You leave the car in the safe parking and then you can walk around, it is perfect. Don’t look for another place for your stay: it is here.

Rooms tiny, but clean. TV smaller than a laptop screen. Walls thin and unfortunately you can hear literally everything what your neighbor is doing. Nice service (especially ladies). The service gentlemen can turn off the air conditioning in the dining room so that the guests working at the computer can go away faster. + city center + comfortable bed - sure not 4* hotel, maybe 3* - old style (‘90-2000) - for some stuff members is too hard to put some smile on their faces at early morning (9 o’clock) - however there is parking option on the booking.com, that is possible on the street and is payable hourly 95€

Asti is a old city and buildings as well The hotel was ok, old inside but clean, room was old furnitures but in a good manner, you can see the bathroom has been renovated and was very cleaned. Our very first night in Italy was spent here and we couldn't have picked a better place! Monica was very welcoming, she treated us like family and gave us great tips on where to go and what to see.
