A disappointing stay. We had booked a family room with a baby cot although were shown to a normal room with just an additional single bed, far from ideal given I was with my wife, mother and 11 month old baby. No sign of a baby cot either. Despite showing my booking and various reconfirmations, we were told nothing could be done, so I guess we were supposed to just hold our son in our arms through the night? After a tense conversation to put it mildly, thankfully some other guests arrived and it turned out they had been put in our room by mistake. A few issues with our room, the toilet seat was broken, there weren’t enough toiletries, no bottled water, and the restaurant wasn’t open on our first night. There was also no water in the main swimming pool, and the other pool’s water was green / freezing. Some better points, the restaurant was reasonable both in terms of quality and price. We had some nice pasta delivered to our room on our final night. In summary it wasn’t a four star experience, 2/3 at best.

We had a very nice experience; well maintained facilities, clean pool, great breakfast and outstanding restaurant.
The staff is very helpful and accommodating; in particular Monica and her team in the SPA, we had a great massage experience which I really recommend.
The lady serving breakfast was super efficient and always with a friendly attitude.
Also to mention the front desk clerk Alessandro that run the extra mile for us.
Thank you! We will come back next year

Perfect location for our stay for a nearby wedding. Pool was great and room was spacious and had everything we needed. Great value for money!

For breakfast were served mainly sweet cakes - fantastic. Some options of ham and cheese also. I really enjoy every morning to start the day with your breakfast. We could choose one of 3 dishes also for dinner, which was also in high standard. Overall the cuisine, comfort, services of Grottella were superb.

My fiance and I spent a weekend at La Grottella last April.
We purchased the special offer which include the SPA, dinner and breakfast.
The location is simply stunning and we were really impressed by the quality of the service received and the food.
The style of the room was very rustic and tipical of the local area.
We are definitely going to go again!

I had lunch at Masseria Grottella. I eated a first course of pasta with branzino and it is one or the best dishes I ever eated! The services was also great. I was with a celiac friend and we was totally surprised and grateful for the service and the offer for celiac people too. Price was also good, especially if compared with the service.
