Wow! What a hidden gem…
Had an amazing week in these updated athentic surroundings. The pool is the best (important cause it’s been HOT) Valentina and the crew have been super friendly and accommodating. Food is great, fresh and affordable. I recommend bringing a car as its a few hours from Bari airport and its nice to be able to get around the area for beaches and other sights and restaurants etc.
I highly recommend and hope to come back.

If you're exploring south Salento and looking for a place to stay in and take daily trips, this is the place. The hotel is beautiful inside and outside , the pool is lovely, the restaurant serves fine food at reasonable prices, breakfast is diverse and has lots of options, staff is very helpful, very luxurious hotel with excellent amenities. The location is excellent and right in middle of everything: 30 mins from Otranto (east) and Gallipoli (west), and 40 mins from Santa Maria di Leuca (south). In the mountains yet very close to the shore, but also very close to lots of Masserias, vinyards and hidden gems in the area, where you can have a sip of south Salento. The prices is very good for a 5 star hotel.

Lovely welcome from Daisey. Nice room very clean. The pool is slightly detached from the main building but very nice. A little further out the way than we had anticipated but that’s on us. The restaurant menu very poor around 4 choices and what we ordered was a little underwhelming, ordered fish and got half each. The breakfast was poor both days the toaster was broke. It’s wasn’t a bad stay but also was not one of our nicer stays.

We stayed at Sangiorgio Resort & Spa in July 2025 as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The staff were so helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. They arranged transfers from Brindisi Airport for us at half the cost of those advertised through our airline. The pool area was lovely. As it was very hot and we were grateful for the abundance of seating and beds in shaded areas all around the pool. The food in the restaurant and by the pool was lovely and reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. A very enjoyable 6 days with my daughter and grand-daughter.

What a very lovely lovely place... beautiful, quiet, elegant, cool (with all the marble). Just the place for a wedding, a honeymoon and a spa, with all the options.

Fantastic venue, peaceful, rooms very clean and comfortable, I had a room with a private outside space and hot tub. We visited back in June for my wife’s birthday and we had such a beautiful stay! The service was impeccable, the food at the restaurant was divine. They accommodate any request, my wife got a bunch of roses on the breakfast table as a little surprise. All the team were friendly and very professional. The spa area was good and the outside pools really nice and peaceful. Thank you in particular to the receptionists I think Daisy was the name who started a conversation about her London positive previous experience, since we live there. The two ladies Valentina & Daisy who manage the reception/bookings etc. Were exceptional in there devotion to their work. The ladies owned any problems and resolved anything quickly. Top marks ladies well done. The food was really tasty and the waiting staff were professional. The lady serving Coffee remembered what you previously had she was really good. We definitely want to return the place was excellent.
