A wonderful spot for a family vacation. The food is delicious, with affordable prices. I highly recommend adding the buffet dinner option—there’s a wide variety, including seafood. The beach is close by, and everything you need is right on-site. The staff is incredibly helpful, 10/10.

An absolutely brilliant hotel, we were greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we arrived and the staff were extremely friendly throughout. The suite was amazing and very well presented, the hotel bar was well equipped and the cocktails were fantastic. We visited the near by thermal spa and participated in many treatments which was very reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning.

For a five star hotel the rooms can do with a make-over. Good service, great breakfast and lunch. Facilities are ok. Good management if company off site. Easy access to the beach the Therme are not very exciting unless you opt for spa ect. Free bikes and lovely walks on the never ending beach.

The rooms are very nice and clean, the beach is under a minute away from the hotel and they have a sauna and a nice steam bath. The pool is big enough and very refreshing if you prefer this over swimminf in the sea. You can also always borrow a bike to drive to the lighthouse or somewhere else (They look pretty nostalgic). There is always enough to eat and they can always also serve vegetarian dishes

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, fabulous food, brilliant facilities. Bikes to use during your stay, pushchairs to use when needed, buckets and spades and lidos for the beach or pool. It's all the little things... Perfect location too. Right on the beach, next to the foot and bike path that stretches on for miles in either direction. Everything is really accessible.

In essence, very nice hotel and very clean. Rather for families than for young couples. What I liked the most was the own beach of the hotel, where you have reserved an umbrella for you. I have been coming to Hotel Excelsior since I was a child for 15 years straight and we continue coming here as a family every summer. The hotel has been renovated over the last few years and has very updated amenities. Nice hotel, but a breakfast menu doesn't have too much variations. A single room clean and good but for 4☆ hotel could be bigger.

Unfortunately there are not enough parking spaces.Every day the car had to be pulled away so that someone else could get in. This is quite annoying because they can call you at any time that the person is in the wrong place with their car.

Excellent location, great room view, modern furniture but...breakfast was a shame. Very poor and low quality of cheese, ham, vegetables etc. And another big problem was at the pool where in each day at 8 AM all the chair was occupied with towel but nobody there. So, no chance to stay there. And last, one of the receptionist, must learn more about beeing polite. Our sejur was in august 2020
