As soon as we arrived we realized the situation of the hotel, dirty rooms not to mention the bathroom and especially the shower cabins with black mold everywhere.
I speak in the plural because we asked for a room change and the other room was practically the same plus the air conditioner was not working, despite this the owner also told us that everything we had explained was not true and invited us to leave the facility at 9pm saying take the motorbike and go…
After dinner we went to the hotel and he apologized to us several times because in fact what we found was only the truth

This is a very basic hotel. Clean enough. Breakfast was not good enough. Crossaints, chocos, yoghurt and coffee only were available. No gluten free options. Lactose free milk available for coffee. Very close to center.

My wife, I and the dog show were guests of the Hotel Nazionale for two days and the experience was excellent in every respect:
1) first of all the kindness, availability and competence that Marco and his brother showed us throughout our stay
[and this, in my opinion, IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING when you are a guest]
2) the room with bathroom and shower that was reserved for us was very clean and very bright, with a comfortable double bed, a large wardrobe, an air conditioner, table, armchairs
3) the buffet breakfast was EXCELLENT, based on croissants, cakes, tarts, pastries, and so on and so forth....
4) the strategic position BOTH in relation to the splendid historic center of Bolsena AND in relation to the magnificent lakeside promenade (both very close and reachable on foot)
WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

The manager was really lovely, friendly and accommodating, breakfast was exactly enough, even though the place was full it was still really quiet :) right at the centre, close to everything! perfect little break.

I found the hotel, the staff and the services all of an excellent standard, cleanliness, friendliness and strategic location. Choosing this hotel was an added value to the beautiful day spent in Bolsena. Thanks to the owners I hope to return soon.

The room was absolutely fine and sufficient. There was also free parking and a delicious breakfast. The hotel is centrally located and close to the beach, which can be reached on foot in just 5 minutes. Communication wasn't that easy, but anything was possible with hands and feet. We recommend it with a clear conscience.

We went out for dinner and
On our return deactivated again. (I let you imagine the night)
Dirty sanitary ware, clogged sink,
The base of the shower stands out,
At 8 o'clock they start making noise with the housekeeping, knocking on the door several times.
Then "icing on the cake"
At 10.20 they call us that we had to leave the room because they had to clean.
When during the booking phase no one specified the exit time.The only time communicated to us was the start of breakfast from 7.30 onwards.
