We visited the property as we were on holiday in Bolsena. We have been at The Platini and the sister Hotel The Holiday on many occasions since 2006.The Masi family who own these hotels have updated regularly both rooms and services. The Platini is a typical Italian town centre hotel,giving you maximum access to the town but at a price you can afford.

Great location between the main part of town and the lakefront. An easy and lovely walk to the lake along a tree lined street. The hotel didn't seem to have many guests and we got a lot of attention to our needs. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good linens! We had the lovely restaurant to ourselves for both dinner and breakfast and everyone in our group of 5 was very pleased with their choices...

Staff is very nice, room service is quick and food is good! I went here with my family and we had plenty of space with the wardrobes, beds and tables, although we only had 1 socket. Platani hotel also has their own parking and is 35 mins away from a thermal pool!

Nice and helpful people, excellent kitchen. Service you expect in 3* hotel in Italy. Great location between city and lake. Its family hotel with history connected to the very beginning of traveling to Bolsena. You can be a part of a 'story'.

Spent one night at this hotel, the facilities are nice with a nice sundeck and swimming pool. The weather was unfortunately a bit too cold to sample the pool but it looked nice. Hotel is super well situated. It's unique, rooms are large, very clean and comfortabel. The staff was super friendly and helped us move all the cots up the stairs. Absolute highlight of the Ludwig experience: their breakfast - best one we had this summer. Congratulations! Oddly themed Beethoven hotel in a great location right next to the water. Staff are all so amazing and helpful. Beds are pretty hard and you have to ask to manually control your own air conditioning.

We stay here often and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are elegantly appointed, and the hotel is in close proximity to the lake. Also, there is a big, beautiful swimming pool.

New Hotel (opened 06/2015) with nice rooms and friendly staff. The large Pool with Bar service is a great way to cool down at a sunny day. Overall a great place to stay!

Nice hotel right next to the lake. Great pool. The only thing letting it down are the rooms look a little dated and the aircon seems to go off at 6am every morning so we all woke up sweating as the rooms become hot as soon as it turns off. It was August.

location was excellent, staff friendly. the breakfast options were also great and onsite parking appreciated. Our room was small travelling with 2 large suitcases however our terrace was massive and great views over the lake and behind to the old centre. We would stay here again.

Not four stay. We stayed here in early September for two nights. A lovely looking hotel externally and the public area is also attractive and welcoming. As we arrived we were welcomed but left to deal with our own luggage. My husband and I aged 75 and 79. Excellent. Wonderful setting, right at the lake with plenty of walks, bars, restaurants within walking distance. Decent pool and lots of lounging space around the pool and on a second floor large terrace facing the lake. Staff is friendly, and helpful. It is an excellent vlaue; a short drive from lots of attractions.

I would have expected more from a four-star hotel. The location is great, it is very near to the lake. Very kind and helpful personnel at reception. The structure is wonderful, clean and well decorated, the room was not too big but the bathroom was spacious. No complementary bottle of water was offered. Clean with old style Mediterranean look. Gave 3 stars coz it was summer and the Aircon was not functioning well. They knew it and told them but they didn't change us to other rooms. We were 4 in one room so we had to leave the windows open that night and we didn't slept well coz of mosquitoes.

Top location enhanced by lovely room and supported by excellent staff. Staff speak good English and were always ready to assist in any way possible. Made us feel very much ‘at home’. Ideal location to walk by lake and to the old town. Also well located for visits to other regional towns.

The location is outstanding, beautiful lake view and surroundings, quiet and very clean. The service was excellent, we arrived after 10pm, the lady at the reception was very kind and so is the staff at the morning. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, the shower is tiny, very simple room, but very clean. No elevator, you need to carry your laggage up by stairs, although only one floor. Good breakfast...

The hotel is near the lake and it has private beach. We got tickets to the pool at Camping village, it was excellent. Close to Bolsona and Orvieto Breakfast was good and was served on the hotel terrace. Free parking

Beautiful property, quite, lots of parking, fantastic and helpful staff, but the view is the best. Right in Bolsena lake, it’s lovely to sit, watch the sun set with a cocktail amongst all the beautiful flowers. The room we had was a little in the small side but a huge balcony facing the beachfront. Overall very happy, could have stayed much longer.

Lovely hotel right on the lakeside with their own beach. Helpful to have your own transport, as it is about 1 mile outside the town. lovely location on lake front, separated from shore only by a very little used road. set up for Italian disney-style weddings which amuses, huge pool and lots of space. We were in October with 25-28 deg, off season which probably helped

Most rooms have balconies. Right on the lake. Two pools. Stunning views of lake. Good parking. Relaxed atmosphere. We liked it enough for a second visit.

Enjoyed a 4 night stay at this hotel. The hotel has a stunning view over the Lake Bolsena located on the quiet end of the shoreside road. The room itself was adequate with a lovely big balcony. Only 4 such rooms on the front. Pay the extra for a front room. I felt the mattresses were old and springy but they delivered a very good nights sleep. Perfect calm vacation time. All on high level : restaurant and local food, rooms cleaned everday + towels exchange, excellent service in restaurant, friendly and kind owners. We were not staying at this hotel but visited our friends and had lunch.We found it to be a quiet hotel with a great aspect to the lake.It also had a great lunchtime menu and fantastic service. We all ate well and enjoyed our time around tranquil Gardens and a super pool.The rooms our friend's had were in the newer annex,they were clean and functional as was the price of 10 days for the price of 7

Two days of relaxation… an oasis of peace and serenity. The terrace overlooking the lake is beautiful and the swimming pool for exclusive use is beautiful. Simple, but comfortable, spacious and clean double room. Friendly staff, the owner a kind woman and always with a smile. Good breakfast ... only little choice of salty. We'll be back!

This is a very basic hotel. Clean enough. Breakfast was not good enough. Crossaints, chocos, yoghurt and coffee only were available. No gluten free options. Lactose free milk available for coffee. Very close to center.

The manager was really lovely, friendly and accommodating, breakfast was exactly enough, even though the place was full it was still really quiet :) right at the centre, close to everything! perfect little break.

The room was absolutely fine and sufficient. There was also free parking and a delicious breakfast. The hotel is centrally located and close to the beach, which can be reached on foot in just 5 minutes. Communication wasn't that easy, but anything was possible with hands and feet. We recommend it with a clear conscience.

Zodiaco is a small and very cozy (in a good definition of this word) hotel in the center of Bolsena. It's really close to the Bolsena lake and there are lot of cafes/bars/restaurants around. The room size was good, they have A/C. The breakfast wasn't very reach, but there were options to choose (please, remember they have only 12 rooms) and they provided home-made cakes, croissants...

We spent eight nights in this hotel a stone's throw from the center and Lake Bolsena. Large and very clean rooms. Abundant and varied breakfast. Staff smiling, kind and attentive to guests' needs. Even our dog was filled with caresses and cuddles every day. We will certainly return.

It is a family run camping site with a limited size that keeps things at hand and gives you the feeling that the guests mean something. Services are excellent, especially the restaurant which never disappointed us with quality of food and service

Nice and clean rooms, spacious bedrooms. I used this camping as a fun two night stop for my kids to swim and play before going to Rome (1,5 hours drive from this place). Staff is very friendly. Our house was located at the end of a lane behind some olive trees. So nicely secluded but still close to the swimming pool and lake.

If you come in late then dont expect you can eat in the camping restaurant. You need to make a reservation,but if you dont know that,you can't eat. A great place for families and couples who want to have a relaxing holiday. Bolsena town is reachable by foot. Clean and well-maintained facilities.

So we start with the positive arguments. It was a very nice welcome with the staff. Gentle people. Always helping and they want to find solutions for any problem. We booked a Lodgy Tent. Check in had to be 14:00 p.m. We got in 12:00 p.m. This was nice. Lodgy Tent inside in summer time very hot. Not recommend if you have dogs. A Bungalow with climate machine better. Inside it was a bit unclean and old...

Friendly staff. Neat and clean sanitary facilities. Campsite at the lake with also a pool. Neat prices. Excellent meal in the restaurant on the campsite.

De locatie is orachtug. Bovenop de heuvels met uitzicht op en Bolsenameer. Superlieve mensen die overigens alleen Italiaans spreken. Dat keam mooi uit kon ik zo mijn cursus om Italiaans te spreken uitproberen. Prachtige kamer met ingebouwd ruim balkon. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt met elke dag variatie.

Enchanting structure a few kilometers from Bolsena. Clean rooms, priceless hospitality of the owners, absolute quiet and a regenerating landscape .. even at night admiring the multitude of stars! These are just some of the qualities of the b & b useful as a starting point for visiting the area but staying out of the chaos. Highly recommended

Very nice Palazzo in a square in the middle of old Bolsena. Good restaurant as well with outside space. Strange thing is that breakfast is served only in the room. But it was delicious!

This place is definitively a must-see and must-do if you're in Bolsena! You feel a bit like in a museum, or as if you had been just taken several hundred years back in history. Breakfast is 5€ per person but worth every cent - its an experience! 100% recommended!

Very close to both town and water, the place is defintiely interesting - a time-worn palazzo where the lovely owners live in part of the house and rent out the eclectically furnished other rooms to guests. We were comfortable and entertained for our 1 night stay, and enjoyed ourselves. Nice breakfast in very formal setting.

I stayed in this "house" for four days, but I would have stayed longer. The owners are friendly, helpful and the care with which they do this work is reflected in the place which is more than well maintained, clean and welcoming. near the center of Bolsena but also along the lake, it has all the comforts, I will definitely come back.
