We visited the property as we were on holiday in Bolsena. We have been at The Platini and the sister Hotel The Holiday on many occasions since 2006.The Masi family who own these hotels have updated regularly both rooms and services. The Platini is a typical Italian town centre hotel,giving you maximum access to the town but at a price you can afford.

It’s okay. All places are clean. All staf is friendly behaviour.

Great location between the main part of town and the lakefront. An easy and lovely walk to the lake along a tree lined street. The hotel didn't seem to have many guests and we got a lot of attention to our needs. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good linens! We had the lovely restaurant to ourselves for both dinner and breakfast and everyone in our group of 5 was very pleased with their choices...

Staff is very nice, room service is quick and food is good! I went here with my family and we had plenty of space with the wardrobes, beds and tables, although we only had 1 socket. Platani hotel also has their own parking and is 35 mins away from a thermal pool!

Spent one night at this hotel, the facilities are nice with a nice sundeck and swimming pool. The weather was unfortunately a bit too cold to sample the pool but it looked nice. Hotel is super well situated. It's unique, rooms are large, very clean and comfortabel. The staff was super friendly and helped us move all the cots up the stairs. Absolute highlight of the Ludwig experience: their breakfast - best one we had this summer. Congratulations! Oddly themed Beethoven hotel in a great location right next to the water. Staff are all so amazing and helpful. Beds are pretty hard and you have to ask to manually control your own air conditioning.

We stay here often and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are elegantly appointed, and the hotel is in close proximity to the lake. Also, there is a big, beautiful swimming pool.

The location on Piazza Dante Alighieri is convenient to the lake, 2 lake front restaurants, and a pretty walk on a hydrangea lined street up to the walled city section. Value for money Perfect at lake shore. And only 8min walk to old town. Nice outdoor area with good sized pool. But saving money by turn of air conditioning on all rooms must be stopped and leave to each guest themselves to decide. Plus that they turn on the central air conditioning again when I asked for it. Made us able to control after our desire from our room.

Nice hotel right next to the lake. Great pool. The only thing letting it down are the rooms look a little dated and the aircon seems to go off at 6am every morning so we all woke up sweating as the rooms become hot as soon as it turns off. It was August.

Beautiful location, flowers, birds, right on the lake. Lovely town. Room was very clean, small by north American standards and the bed was uncomfortable.

Clean with old style Mediterranean look. Gave 3 stars coz it was summer and the Aircon was not functioning well. They knew it and told them but they didn't change us to other rooms. We were 4 in one room so we had to leave the windows open that night and we didn't slept well coz of mosquitoes.

Top location enhanced by lovely room and supported by excellent staff. Staff speak good English and were always ready to assist in any way possible. Made us feel very much ‘at home’. Ideal location to walk by lake and to the old town. Also well located for visits to other regional towns.

The decoration is a bit TOO old, looks like we went back time, but besides that its a great place to stay! right by the lake with a private beach, beautiful view! The location is outstanding, beautiful lake view and surroundings, quiet and very clean. The service was excellent, we arrived after 10pm, the lady at the reception was very kind and so is the staff at the morning. lovely location on lake front, separated from shore only by a very little used road. set up for Italian disney-style weddings which amuses, huge pool and lots of space. We were in October with 25-28 deg, off season which probably helped

We were not staying at this hotel but visited our friends and had lunch.We found it to be a quiet hotel with a great aspect to the lake.It also had a great lunchtime menu and fantastic service. Two days of relaxation… an oasis of peace and serenity. The terrace overlooking the lake is beautiful and the swimming pool for exclusive use is beautiful. Simple, but comfortable, spacious and clean double room. Friendly staff, the owner a kind woman and always with a smile. Good breakfast ... only little choice of salty. We'll be back!

We booked here last minute. Hotel staff, restaurant were awesome. Hotel Eden is on the lake and had awesome sunset and sunrise views.

We are regular customers of this hotel. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, with sufficient accessories (soaps). Abundant breakfast (maybe if there was also some savory food it would be the best) The owner is professional, available and helpful in resolving doubts and requests. This is a very basic hotel. Clean enough. Breakfast was not good enough. Crossaints, chocos, yoghurt and coffee only were available. No gluten free options. Lactose free milk available for coffee. Very close to center.

Zodiaco is a small and very cozy (in a good definition of this word) hotel in the center of Bolsena. It's really close to the Bolsena lake and there are lot of cafes/bars/restaurants around. The room size was good, they have A/C. The breakfast wasn't very reach, but there were options to choose (please, remember they have only 12 rooms) and they provided home-made cakes, croissants...

We spent eight nights in this hotel a stone's throw from the center and Lake Bolsena. Large and very clean rooms. Abundant and varied breakfast. Staff smiling, kind and attentive to guests' needs. Even our dog was filled with caresses and cuddles every day. We will certainly return.

Enjoyed a 4 night stay at this hotel. The hotel has a stunning view over the Lake Bolsena located on the quiet end of the shoreside road. The room itself was adequate with a lovely big balcony. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are roomy and as nicely decorated as the rest of the villa, which you are free to walk through. I would love to come back here again.

Our stay was incredible, a unique experience, beautiful place, close to the main tourist attractions, great food nearby, and the hotel's Enoreca has excellent wines. There is a supermarket just a few steps away. It couldn't have been better. We loved it so much that we extended our stay.

Great option in Bolsena A great experience to stay in a Renaissance castle, a real museum during the day. The manager has excellent communication skills, was very helpful and kind. Parking is near, the hotel will sell you daily vouchers. Plenty of restaurants nearby. A nice walk to the Lake Bolsena. The room was fairly comfortable, very clean. Large bathroom, very clean. Simple, quietly located hostel in beautiful surroundings

Arrived fracigena path. Comfortable for sleeping, quiet quiet. But you cannot eat and for a pilgrim it is difficult to accept after a 7-hour hike. Very hospitable management.

Very close to both town and water, the place is defintiely interesting - a time-worn palazzo where the lovely owners live in part of the house and rent out the eclectically furnished other rooms to guests. We were comfortable and entertained for our 1 night stay, and enjoyed ourselves. Nice breakfast in very formal setting.

They were so gracious and made a reservation for me at an incredible restaurant on the water and facilitated it because I don't speak english. Loved the room and the property.

A stay in this structure, surrounded by the most luxuriant nature and with a unique view of Lake Bolsena, represents a cure for the soul and also for the body. Lovely spot with great views from the room and very friendly staff. Good food as well. Only negative is that the sound insulation between rooms was not particularly good so when there were others near us (only one night luckily) we could hear them. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Nice and clean rooms, spacious bedrooms. I used this camping as a fun two night stop for my kids to swim and play before going to Rome (1,5 hours drive from this place). Staff is very friendly. Our house was located at the end of a lane behind some olive trees. So nicely secluded but still close to the swimming pool and lake.

A great place for families and couples who want to have a relaxing holiday. Bolsena town is reachable by foot. Clean and well-maintained facilities.
