Bolsena, Via Roma 2 🧭 Map
We visited the property as we were on holiday in Bolsena. We have been at The Platini and the sister Hotel The Holiday on many occasions since 2006.The Masi family who own these hotels have updated regularly both rooms and services. The Platini is a typical Italian town centre hotel, giving you maximum access to the town but at a price you can afford.
It’s okay. All places are clean. All staf is friendly behaviour.
Lovely, comfortable hotel. Clean, friendly staff. Generous breakfast.
Location, excellent breakfast, very good evening meal options.
Great location between the main part of town and the lakefront. An easy and lovely walk to the lake along a tree lined street. The hotel didn't seem to have many guests and we got a lot of attention to our needs. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good linens! We had the lovely restaurant to ourselves for both dinner and breakfast and everyone in our group of 5 was very pleased with their choices...
Staff is very nice, room service is quick and food is good! I went here with my family and we had plenty of space with the wardrobes, beds and tables, although we only had 1 socket. Platani hotel also has their own parking and is 35 mins away from a thermal pool!

Ludwig Boutique Hotel & Spa
Bolsena, Viale Cadorna 15/b 🧭 Map
Spent one night at this hotel, the facilities are nice with a nice sundeck and swimming pool. The weather was unfortunately a bit too cold to sample the pool but it looked nice. Hotel is super nicely located right across from the lake and walking distance from the old town. My only disappointment was that the hotel did not really feel like a 5 stars as rooms, furniture and commodities were quite...
Hotel is super well situated. It's unique, rooms are large, very clean and comfortabel. The staff was super friendly and helped us move all the cots up the stairs. Absolute highlight of the Ludwig experience: their breakfast - best one we had this summer. Congratulations!
We highly recommend Ludwig boutique hotel for anyone looking to stay a couple of nights around Bolsena.
Oddly themed Beethoven hotel in a great location right next to the water. Staff are all so amazing and helpful. Beds are pretty hard and you have to ask to manually control your own air conditioning.
We stay here often and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The rooms are elegantly appointed, and the hotel is in close proximity to the lake. Also, there is a big, beautiful swimming pool.
New Hotel (opened 06/2015) with nice rooms and friendly staff.
The large Pool with Bar service is a great way to cool down at a sunny day.
Overall a great place to stay!

Bolsena, Piazza Dante Alighieri 8/10 🧭 Map
The location on Piazza Dante Alighieri is convenient to the lake, 2 lake front restaurants, and a pretty walk on a hydrangea lined street up to the walled city section. Convenient parking in a gated lot behind the hotel. Stop in front of the hotel on the piazza to checkin, drop bags, and then park. There is an elevator for handicap access, but all access to the pool is via steps. The hotel furnishings...
Staff very helpful. Convenient to lake and town. Recommended restaurant and transportation excellent.
Value for money
Perfect at lake shore. And only 8min walk to old town. Nice outdoor area with good sized pool. But saving money by turn of air conditioning on all rooms must be stopped and leave to each guest themselves to decide. Plus that they turn on the central air conditioning again when I asked for it. Made us able to control after our desire from our room.
Nice hotel right next to the lake. Great pool. The only thing letting it down are the rooms look a little dated and the aircon seems to go off at 6am every morning so we all woke up sweating as the rooms become hot as soon as it turns off. It was August.
Water front, beach, pool, friendly staff
Beautiful location, flowers, birds, right on the lake. Lovely town. Room was very clean, small by north American standards and the bed was uncomfortable.

Hotel «Columbus sul Lago»
Bolsena, Viale Nicola Colesanti, 27 🧭 Map
Clean with old style Mediterranean look. Gave 3 stars coz it was summer and the Aircon was not functioning well. They knew it and told them but they didn't change us to other rooms. We were 4 in one room so we had to leave the windows open that night and we didn't slept well coz of mosquitoes.
Top location enhanced by lovely room and supported by excellent staff. Staff speak good English and were always ready to assist in any way possible. Made us feel very much ‘at home’. Ideal location to walk by lake and to the old town. Also well located for visits to other regional towns.
very good location and service. The staff is pleasant and ready to help. Breakfast is abundant. Best ratio price/quality.
Well that was a pleasant stay! Once again, a great staff! Really enjoyed being so close to the lake and all the activity... you just can't go wrong with this hotel in its ownership group, great options when in Bolsena!
Everything ok, personal, cleaness and etc. Amazing view. Only breakfast is not for 4 stars hotel.
Very nice hotel and friendly staff. the restaurant has delicious variety of dishes for reasonable price.

Older property but nice location…1/2 mile from town
This hotel is lovely in general. But needs improvement. Ita biggest advantage is that it has a private beach. A few steps from your room and you're by the lake. The hotel is very clean, but quite old fashioned. The shower room is big, but in itself is very small and not comfortable for a shower after a lake dip. Also for short people the choosing if shower head is impossible. The hotel has an...
The decoration is a bit TOO old, looks like we went back time, but besides that its a great place to stay! right by the lake with a private beach, beautiful view! The breakfast was good, with lots of options, the eggs were premade and a little cold, but overall great! the staff was super nice! very recommended
Environmental hygiene is generally good
The location is outstanding, beautiful lake view and surroundings, quiet and very clean.
The service was excellent, we arrived after 10pm, the lady at the reception was very kind and so is the staff at the morning.
The hotel itself is a bit outdated, the shower is tiny, very simple room, but very clean. No elevator, you need to carry your laggage up by stairs, although only one floor. Good breakfast...
The hotel is near the lake and it has private beach.
We got tickets to the pool at Camping village, it was excellent.

Lovely hotel, managed by a very kind team, with well maintained, classically furnished rooms, equipped with real and very well functioning airco which is switched on immediately on request to the front desk e.g. once a day (sensible solution when considering costs), but operated from within the room.

Quality hotel with a pool and restaurant and fantastic views of the lake, the reason you have come to Bolsena in the first place.
lovely location on lake front, separated from shore only by a very little used road. set up for Italian disney-style weddings which amuses, huge pool and lots of space. We were in October with 25-28 deg, off season which probably helped
Extremely clean room. It was a great experience and really nice breakfast overlooking the lake
Traditional internal decor that looked as new and spotlessly maintained. Helpful, friendly staff. The best restaurant food we had in Bolsena. Front rooms have a wonderful view of the lake.

Perfect calm vacation time. All on high level : restaurant and local food, rooms cleaned everday + towels exchange, excellent service in restaurant, friendly and kind owners.
Beautiful surroundings - spacious garden, clean swimming-pool, cristal water in the lake, enough sunbeds for every guest. 4 stars well represented !
Many thanks.
We were not staying at this hotel but visited our friends and had lunch. We found it to be a quiet hotel with a great aspect to the lake.It also had a great lunchtime menu and fantastic service. We all ate well and enjoyed our time around tranquil Gardens and a super pool. The rooms our friend's had were in the newer annex, they were clean and functional as was the price of 10 days for the price of 7
Two days of relaxation… an oasis of peace and serenity.
The terrace overlooking the lake is beautiful and the swimming pool for exclusive use is beautiful.
Simple, but comfortable, spacious and clean double room.
Friendly staff, the owner a kind woman and always with a smile.
Good breakfast ... only little choice of salty.

We are regular customers of this hotel.
Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, with sufficient accessories (soaps).
Abundant breakfast (maybe if there was also some savory food it would be the best)
The owner is professional, available and helpful in resolving doubts and requests.
The location is excellent for the historic center or the lake.
Free parking available.
Hotel in a strategic position, close to both the center and the lake (500 m). Very kind owners, very helpful and very nice!!!
Abundant and varied buffet breakfast, with the possibility of having a savory breakfast (upon notice).
We will definitely be back!!
My wife, I and the dog show were guests of the Hotel Nazionale for two days and the experience was excellent in every respect:
1) first of all the kindness, availability and competence that Marco and his brother showed us throughout our stay
[and this, in my opinion, IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING when you are a guest]
2) the room with bathroom and shower that was reserved for us was very clean and...
This is a very basic hotel. Clean enough. Breakfast was not good enough. Crossaints, chocos, yoghurt and coffee only were available. No gluten free options. Lactose free milk available for coffee. Very close to center.
The manager was really lovely, friendly and accommodating, breakfast was exactly enough, even though the place was full it was still really quiet :) right at the centre, close to everything! perfect little break.
I found the hotel, the staff and the services all of an excellent standard, cleanliness, friendliness and strategic location. Choosing this hotel was an added value to the beautiful day spent in Bolsena. Thanks to the owners I hope to return soon.

Easy to find. Clean pleasant hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was accommodated for early departure.
Zodiaco is a small and very cozy (in a good definition of this word) hotel in the center of Bolsena. It's really close to the Bolsena lake and there are lot of cafes/bars/restaurants around. The room size was good, they have A/C. The breakfast wasn't very reach, but there were options to choose (please, remember they have only 12 rooms) and they provided home-made cakes, croissants...
We spent eight nights in this hotel a stone's throw from the center and Lake Bolsena. Large and very clean rooms. Abundant and varied breakfast. Staff smiling, kind and attentive to guests' needs. Even our dog was filled with caresses and cuddles every day. We will certainly return.
We stayed one night with children in tow! Central hotel to both the town and the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Super breakfast, very varied and very good

Enjoyed a 4 night stay at this hotel. The hotel has a stunning view over the Lake Bolsena located on the quiet end of the shoreside road. The room itself was adequate with a lovely big balcony. This Hotel was incredible.....
Honestly it seemed to good to be true when we're first looking at it but it well surpassed our expectations. It was beautiful, the staff were welcoming and accommodating. We have been telling everyone we could to go to this hotel.
Amazing, amazing, amazing.
Nice ancient residence, lots of antique furniture & ambience, quiet w/comfy bed. Bathroom needed attention so shower wand fits wall & doesnt crash into the bath tub if moved & need a tub plug. Our stay was incredible, a unique experience, beautiful place, close to the main tourist attractions, great food nearby, and the hotel's Enoreca has excellent wines. There is a supermarket just a few steps away. It couldn't have been better. We loved it so much that we extended our stay.

B&B Villa Gualterio
Bolsena, Viale Nicola Colesanti 38 🧭 Map
una villa storica con una bellissima sala colazioni. Posizione ottima, a due passi dal lago
Very close to both town and water, the place is defintiely interesting - a time-worn palazzo where the lovely owners live in part of the house and rent out the eclectically furnished other rooms to guests. We were comfortable and entertained for our 1 night stay, and enjoyed ourselves. Nice breakfast in very formal setting.
After a month ago as a pilgrim of the Francigena, I returned for the second time to this beautiful and ancient house now also used as a B&B. You feel the fascinating weight of our tradition and history. Few things of this beauty are built nowadays. I read only one negative comment, among many enthusiastic posts. This already provides a reading key. Mrs. Giulia and Mr. Bernardo are exceptional and discreet...
Very nice hosts in an amazing atmosphere!
The villa with its many original details impressed me very much. The location is hard to beat. A short walk to both the Lago and the Centro!
Beautiful villa from the early 1900s (I think)

Nice chats with the Lord of the house !!
The villa is a B&B (which we weren't aware of when booking, the booking said "Pension"), in which the landlords live themselves and rent 2 rooms to guests.
