Staying at the hotel, Rossy was a wonderful experience! The rooms were spacious and the host Amadeus was accommodating to all of our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great Bavarian experience.

This is a beautifully furnished hotel. I really loved the wood furnishings in the room. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was very good, as it was easy to walk into the city center and experience all that Bressanone has to offer. Unlike a lot of European hotels, the parking was excellent and located at the facility. The breakfast was outstanding.

This was my 3rd time to stay at this remarkable hotel. Each visit has been excellent. The hotel's new pizza restaurant on site is great!

We loved out stay — great location, wonderful pizzeria at the hotel, discounts for local restaurants, free passes for museums & the train, and a very helpful staff. The rooms were a great size and very clean, and the breakfasts had a wide selection with personalized choices. We have already recommended it to others visiting the area, and will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Staying three nights in this well located downtown hotel, with a nice view of the mountains, we definitely enjoyed ourselves. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was amazing! Fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade jams, a giant Nutella dispenser, a ham slicer that looks like it was made by Mercedes-Benz! We loved the absolutely huge shower, and had a nice sitting area in our room. Two nights, we sat outside at the restaurant’s bar and enjoyed the best Aperol Spritzes our two week trip to Italy. And really good prices for these drinks.

This hotel is classic: clean, plush without being ostentatious and with a staff that’s friendly, helpful and thoroughly professional. The food is also top-notch. it’s afresh stop-over in the German speaking South Tyrol part of Italy— a great way to transition to Italy.

Brixen is a charming town and Goldenes Roessel is a charming hotel. Excellent multi-lingual communication, extremely comfortable beds (in the German fashion, so thin mattresses on wood frame), spacious bathrooms, and a very nice breakfast set-up -- I am always happy with cheese, fruit and cold meats, but here they offer to cook you eggs any style upon request, which my father did, and enjoyed immensely. The place is spotlessly clean, the rooms airy and fresh. It's convenient to the old town, the river walk, and an easy walk up to the Neustift/Novacella monastery along the Isarco for a great glass of wine. The attached restaurant is a classic pizzeria, which means pizza and only pizza, but it was very good pizza and an easy option for a late arrival or a day when the town is very full. And finally, if you touring by car, the private parking is generously sized and very convenient for in and out purposes; it's also a virtually straight shot from the Bressanone Nord exit on the motorway. Highly recommended.
