I stayed in the separate albergo part just down the road. The room looks recently tastefully renovated and it was exceptionally clean. Everything worked well and the breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was very very good.

Stayed one night off season and wished we stayed more. Laura was a fantastic host and sommelier. Property is beautiful but is remote and is appropriate if you want to immerse yourself in the Tuscan country side. Restaurant is great and convenient. My husband and I loved staying here. We drove up from Rome and stopped at a few vineyards before staying. We had a very nice stay at this villa. It is a bit difficult to find up a challenging gravel road but once you park your car it’s all forgotten. The lady that run the place is so nice and made our stay memorable. Her cooking was extraordinarily good. So if you are in the neighborhood we could warmly recommend this place.

Mara is an excellent hostess. Her love of the family business is obvious starting with checking in, explaining how things work and making sure you have everything you need. An informative binder is available with a map and day trip recommendations. The accommodation is on a hill about 700m on gravel road. A wonderfully peaceful place surrounded by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. The apartment is in a separate building on top of a hill within the farm boundary. It was well equipped with all we needed to cook if we wished, with a full size fridge, and there were eating places not far away. Just a few minutes' drive to Torrenieri, Bienconvento (both of these have Coop supermarkets) or Montalcino...

Had a great time during my stay! It’s apartments with kitchen and everything you need. Mara and her husband were super nice and helpful. Only downside for “regular” tourists might be the rural location in the middle of nowhere. If you want to enjoy Tuscany’s calm and natural flair, this is the one for you. Get ready for a car wash after your stay though 😉

A place where it is impossible not to relax. The panorama around you envelops your soul. And the manager Mara is welcoming, helpful, discreet and super cook. Structure with well-kept and well-furnished apartments. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but there is no need, since the farmhouse is located on top of a hill; in the evening it is very cool and windy even on the hottest days of August. Great location in the middle of the most beautiful and iconic part of Tuscany. Large and clean cottage with all the appliance you need. The view from the garden was very beautiful! The host was a bit difficult to find upon first arrival. The pool was pretty cold but we loved it nonetheless!

We were three friends and we stayed two nights, the first night I took a cold shower with very timid water output, nothing to say about the apartment as it was clean and with everything you need that a small apartment should have. Nice swimming pool but outside it was very unkept full of insects. The welcome wasn't the best given that as the Lord accompanied us to the room we didn't have time to enter...

The position is very good if you want to visit the "Val d'Orcia" because it's situated at 30 mins or less by car from pretty much everything there is to see. No Internet connection (we just didn't care about that actually), no A/C (there are couple fans) and we had some troubles with mosquitos...

I would give 6 stars if I could! Our stay and tour experience with Rosewood was absolutely fantastic and even surreal! The resort was beautiful, but the food was not quite at the level we had hoped. Also, as parents of a young child, we are rather sympathetic to children, but with such a small pool area, it is not very relaxing to have very loud kids playing/yelling. Perhaps a future family pool would be a good addition to the property.

Il Burellino is the most beautiful B&B up in the Tuscan hills. The villa we stayed in was beautifully designed and well-equipped. The grounds and pool are stunning. The staff was very polite and helpful. They gave great dinner recommendations and made our reservation for us. Breakfast was okay. Everything was clean. Welcoming and very clean environment sin x the organization of the girls who manage it, we arrived and there was no one waiting for us despite having communicated the time of our arrival after more than 10 minutes of waiting we phoned and after the same time they gave us the keys. You need to park on the edge of town (about a 5 minute walk max) and walk in. Our host worked nearby (at Montalcinos best restaurant Alle Logge di Piazza) and was always close. There was an included breakfast at the bar next door where you could chose whatever you wanted (almost). There was also a common area that you shared only with the second room in the building. You had a fridge and could enjoy free tea and coffee but most of all, an amazing view over the surroundings.

Perfect location, super clean, more than enough towels and linens. Perfect for a 2 night stay, we would stay longer if we could! Oh and the view was just stunning!

Lucilla and Frank were wonderful host. They gave us suggestions on restaurants and surrounding towns to visit on our three day stay. The morning breakfast were great and the place was very clean. Will definitely stay here on a return visit.

Wonderful place, charming owners Lucía and Roberto, the treatment received is as if it were family, spectacular breakfasts !! And in the center of Montalcino, unbeatable !! Marvelous place, magical environment, you feel like Lucia and Roberto are part of your family, breakfast are absolutely amazing !! And really close to the center! English / Italian / French spoken!

My fiancé and I went on our 3rd trip to Montalcino, and this quite possibly could have been the best. From the beginning Palazzina Cesira were very hospitable. In the morning they have a beautiful spread of food including "eggs your way", and delicious blood orange juice from Sicily! From there they suggested a wonderful restaurant that served the traditional Pinci pasta of the area. We highly recommend...

This place is incredible......I was lucky enough to stay there over 15 years ago and I still tell people about it!

Nice restaurant in Montalcino, kitchen very good, feel like at home. Amazing dishes make it in old tradition of Tuscany!

Excellent location. Great food and view from room. Nice room but ok bed/pillows. Overall it was a very good stay in an old historical building in Montalcino with very good value. I would recommend staying here.

Decent rooms. In middle of old town. Menu limited in restaurant, but quality food.

The food, atmosphere and service was phenomenal. Mario was a wonderful host and Anna prepared the delicious meal. Mario has the most extensive wine menu in the town, unbelievable actually! The food was over the top - excellent. This was not only a great meal, the experience was a memory we will never forget.

Very cozy hotel with history. The owners are elderly couple, moderately welcoming. Otherwise the hotel is very nice, good atmosphere, great view, comfy and has everything one needs.

Stayed at the hotel in the annex - spacious room. Very very quiet. Breakfast view to the north was incredible. Coffee delicious. Ate at the restaurant one night - the husband is passionate about wine - and it showed. The food was tremendous. Just outstanding.
