Lovely lovely historic hotel in the heart of Montalcino. Rebekah is the best host as well as the owners who are always keeping a watchful eye to see to your needs.
#9 Room was small but had a great view. A/C worked great. No lift so stairs are plentiful. Breakfast is OK. Restaurant is superb. They also park your car for only 10 euros per night.

I stayed after a day of driving from Florence. Arriving in front of the hotel with a car can be difficult. There’s really only one way into that street. Don’t use any of the mapping systems available. They will send you down small streets that cannot be traveled in an automobile. Once arriving, the staff was fantastic. They wisked my car away to park. The rooms are quaint. My room had excellent upgrades. The views were spectacular from my room. I ended up having dinner in the restaurant downstairs excellent choice. The food was fantastic. Service was great with awesome wines and the next morning the breakfast was fantastic one of the better stays at a hotel while I was in Italy Would stay there again anytime I’m in that area.

Restaurant offers impeccable service and excellent food. Rentable suites are gorgeous, spacious, clean, and very affordable. Will definitely return.

We had excellent service and a truly memorable meal. This place is a must. It's only open for dinner service and only for 2 hours so you know they are specialists. This is the definition of home cooked food. Absolutely beautiful.

The food, atmosphere and service was phenomenal. Mario was a wonderful host and Anna prepared the delicious meal. Mario has the most extensive wine menu in the town, unbelievable actually! The food was over the top - excellent. This was not only a great meal, the experience was a memory we will never forget.

Nice restaurant in Montalcino, kitchen very good, feel like at home. Amazing dishes make it in old tradition of Tuscany!

Excellent location. Great food and view from room. Nice room but ok bed/pillows. Overall it was a very good stay in an old historical building in Montalcino with very good value. I would recommend staying here.

Very cozy hotel with history. The owners are elderly couple, moderately welcoming. Otherwise the hotel is very nice, good atmosphere, great view, comfy and has everything one needs.

Stayed at the hotel in the annex - spacious room. Very very quiet. Breakfast view to the north was incredible. Coffee delicious. Ate at the restaurant one night - the husband is passionate about wine - and it showed. The food was tremendous. Just outstanding.
