We stayed here for 7 nights. Don’t really understand those negative comments here. Everything was great, staff, food, room has been cleaned everyday! Nice beach, 10 minutes walk from the city with shops and restaurants. We couldnt hear any noise at night. We definately recommend this hotel.

Wonderful place for vacation. Good food with lot of tasty meals. Nice area but so much stairs. If you don't want to walking across more than two stairs this might be problem especially for people who are not fit. This is little bit problem. But everything else is perfect.

Good hotel with an amazing 25 meters long swimming pool and beautiful views of the ocean at Cala Gonone. It also offers a restaurant. We haven't eaten in it but it attracted a nice crowd at night. There is also a free shuttle up and down the hill to the closest beaches and town center where you will find many good restaurants and boat trips for the famous Cala Luna and Cala Goloritze among others.

The room are clean and the bed is comfy. The breakfast is great. The is a swimming pool and you have a great view of the sea, city and the mountains. Truly beautiful. But that comes with a price. Great location opposite a nice beach and between two other. Very close to restaurants, bars and all other amenities you want or need. Parking in a public car park right next door which was very handy. We booked a suite so had nice beach views, plenty of space and a good bathroom - very good aircon and comfortable bed. Beautiful sea view room A was such a gorgeous end to our tour in Europe!! The food in the restaraunt is very good-especially the sage ravioli! I loved the beach across the street -especially when I had my scuba shoes on because the coast is rocky. You can walk for several miles in each direction and choose from about 29 restaraunts nearby!

Location relative to the ocean view is perfect, also close to boats rental, but avoid our mistake; avoid Sardinia in octubre!

We spent a wonderful week in this small familiar hotel. The rooms are cosy. The breakfast with a see view- rich. The food in the restaurant great. And most important the stuff is always smiling and helpful. We will come back for sure:)

My review is for the restaurant. We ate pizza (Sarda), it was fine, a normal pizza. My 5stars are for the seadas with ricotta! It isn't the traditional seadas but you need to try it (with honey, not just with sugar), and I found it only in this restaurant. It's more lightly than the traditional one. Great view as well.

Just have been there for a couple of drinks - which means no Hotel-guests - that we only rate the bar outside. It is a nice spot close to the habour that you have a nice view across the beach-/habour-side of Cala Gonone. The service was okay and they are playing kind a lounge-/chill-music.

Great location and staff, especially bar staff. We stayed in room with sea view and over all had a great experience. Breakfast views a real treat. Room wasn't ready in time for check in which I thought a bit odd, but completely understand as I'm pretty easy going. We went and got lunch while we waited. We had a very romantique dîner on the top of the hotel with a perfect view and sunset. Quality of the food is good and artistique on the plate. Selection of the wine is good and the is very nice too.

Good overall. Simple nice room, great view. Perfect location. Street parking could be challenging for some but wasn't a real problem for us. The walls are VERY thin so expect to hear everything in the room next door, including crying babies at midnight.

I am a regular customer of this place. I like the food as well as the people. Cristina, the owner always takes care of me very well. Other stuff are also super nice and friendly. If you are on holiday in Cala Gonone, you should visit here at least once.

Decent enough rooms, very basic breakfast, very convenient location. Staff not so friendly, almost rude in couple occations. Also dont book the boat tour with them. You would just end up paying more and wouldn't get what was promised (even though they said there will be some shade, there was none)

Such a great surprise!! If you go in the aperol terrace you can have an aperitif and enjoy some great sushi. We jump here after the mini cruise on the goulf and was great to rest a little bit before dinner.

Very nice hotel, super clean and great amenities. Unfortunately the beds are nowhere near a 4 stars standard, it's like sleeping on plywood with a brick as a pillow. If sleeps matters during your vacation, then keep it moving... sadly because I really wanted to like this place more.

Well located, incredible clean, WiFi works well, balcony with view, free parking in front of the hotel, friendly owners who will advise you on excursions and help you plan these. Quite busy around 19-ish in July; table booking is recommended. Food was okay, but certainly not spectacular. Wouldn't discourage anyone from going, but better meals can be had elsewhere.

Very nice hotel. I have spent time in 5-star hotels with much noisier AC. Restaurant is also very nice!

It was a good accommodation for a one night stay. My only complaint was that the AC wasn’t working properly (which sucks when the weather is 40+ C). However, location was great and staff really helpful!

We had dinner on the terrace. The staff was very friendly. They spoke english. Unfortunately the food was a bit cold and my quattro formaggi pizza tasted more like a single formaggi. Aside from that we had a pleasant stay though.

Outstanding view, spectacular food. Unexpected delight. Only negative is that the walk to it from town is a challenge due to the elevation difference, but what that means is a spectacular view of the town and the area.

Nice hotel in quiet streets away from the centre of Cala Gonone. Takes about 5 minutes to walk into the centre and the beach. Rooms are comfortable, staff are friendly and they do speak English. WiFi is available in public areas of the hotel.

We stayed only one night at La Playa Hotel and everything was awesome! It was a short walking distance to the centre of Cala Gonone and the rooms were big and comfortable for four people. The best thing we loved there was the service... The receptionist was super nice and friendly! If we had to point the only thing that did not work was the WiFi (I could not use it in the room).
