Hotel «Colle Etrusco Salivolpi»

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Chianti near Castellina in Chianti. Christina is a wonderful host and goes above and beyond for any request. The beds and bedding were so comfortable! Would definitely stay again!

A great place to stay. Quite large grounds to enjoy the outdoors and go for a swim. A short walk to the town centre. We only stayed 2 nights, I wish that we had more time for a longer stay.

The hotel is wonderful. This is a Tuscan classic. Beautiful stone building. The room we received was very large, located on the first floor. The bed was very comfortable, very large. We found great olive oil cosmetics in the bathroom. Breakfast was served in the garden, there was a very large selection of products, croissants, eggs, hams, cheeses, jams and fruit and vegetables. Everything is complemented by a wonderful swimming pool and service that scores 11/10 points, always smiling, helpful and knows English.

It was a pleasant stay. Rooms were ver nice and clean. Towels were provided for the pool. We had a relaxing time by the pool and then some drinks at the hotel. Nice grounds with plenty of areas to sit. Nice location to center of town. Only complaint was it was close to major roads and there were barking dogs nearby.

Fantastic place. The rooms are spacious and cosy, the garden well taken care of, there is a pool, the breakfast buffet offers a lot of choices, and you are within walking distance from the nearby village for dinner. Great value for money.

Very nice and charming hotel. The staff was very serviceminded. The room was spacious and the beds were good. Breakfast was fantastic. The aerea around the pool and garden were very well kept. We would definetly use this hotel again.

Amazing location, rooms are small but to be expected considering you’re staying in what looks to be a medieval aged building. Service is excellent, minutes away from the center of town! Thank you

If you are looking for the real Tuscany experience in the country and a short walk to a small town this place is perfect. Near great wineries. (Consider CORBUCCI wineries for higher end and Casa Emma for mid range price). The rooms were modern yet country chic. The staff was wonderful. Comfy Bar/reception area. I made a mistake in booking the wrong date and they honored the reservation for next day. Very responsive and helpful. Breakfast had so many delicious and fresh options in another beautiful building. Highly recommend.

Everyone was so kind and efficient. The room was always spotless. The grounds amazing. I love the calazione! The young man in charge was wonderful! Truly, words can’t express what a wonderful time I had!!!
