Lost grandeur. All the decor rather shabby and has seen better days. The bedroom was big and had a large balcony but this was looking over the road. The room itself was very unloved and there was a feeling of ‘mend and make do’ throughout the hotel. The bathroom was very poor. With an over bath shower that felt precarious. There was a large hole in the bathroom door also which just went to show...

Escape to the sea Was greeted by Marco, who was bright and cheerful. Hotel well located in the town. Rooms very average. Noisey fridge which didn't really chill anything. Air conditioning not much better either. Very tired in places.

My partner and I stayed here for one week and we loved it! The hotel is lovely, rooms are spacious enough with everything you need (coffee machine, small fridge etc) but the stand out is truly the staff! Always so friendly, helpful, and smiling so our stay was very enjoyable. I have very awkward dietary restrictions (gluten, garlic, onions - fodmaps) and it was no problem at all to provide gluten free...

HOTEL MOLTO BELLO CENTRALE , Le camere spaziose, e curate. Soprattutto tutto il personale molto gentile e disponibile, MOLTO carino ed elegante il ristorante all esterno , non l 'abbiamo provato , ma deve essere molto piacevole cenare fuori così sulla terrazza.ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Grazie

The staff in this hotel is awesome. They try to help and accommodate to your needs all the time. The hotel is clean and the view is incredible.

Four balls for the position. Stop. I would call it Sorrisino Bay. Unmissable view from the rooms and that alone is worth the choice. You will see it in the photos. And a particular note for the richness of the breakfast dessert buffet. But the room? Small. Dilapidated. Old. Inconvenient. And at a price that is not low for mid-October. courtesy? I would say rather cold informality. We won't be returning...

I was passing by today. I fell badly and hit my head on concrete. I was not a patron yet they took care of me with such kindness. There was no taxi available so the manager drove us to get attention. They all blatantly refused a tip of any kind- such good people ❤️❤️

Beautiful views, great service, clean accommodations...not too fancy but nice. Pillows are like rocks...bring your own

Nice hotel and good if you want to travel to the inland, but DON'T bathe in the beach 6 km south (Spiagge bianche) because it's TOXIC. The beach is so white because the local factories dumps mercury, lead & cadmium. High cancer rates amoung the inhabitants of the local city (Rosignano Solvay).

No Airco....not even a ventilator.. but you must do this !! What a great place with very friendly people and on a great location . Great old details about the history of this place.. good internet free parking. Very relaxing.

I have really enjoyed my stay and still am. The breakfast is excellent and the gramophone playing at breakfast really fits the"grandeur" and feel of the early days of this hotel. The charm is still very much present,very professional staff. The rooms are spacious aswell.

Very old fashion hotel, nice view on the Castiglioncello sea. Rooms' furniture is old style but clean. Very close to the center and promenade. Free parking is available for guests. Nice garden and garden view of the restaurant lounge. I recommend it!

Ideal location a few steps from the sea and the center and practically in the pine forest! Charming building and tastefully furnished in the common areas while the room could be improved in the furniture. Generous breakfast from the menu as per anti Covid legislation. Impeccable cleaning. Friendly and professional service. Convenient internal parking. We will certainly be back!

A beautiful hotel with a nice garden. In the garden are nice seats to relax or something to drink. It is within walking distance of the sea and the center. Super friendly staff, very helpful. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure to stay with Hotel Leopoldo when organising a destination Wedding in Castiglioncello. A lot of the wedding guests stayed here and also our team. Roberto has been nothing else then a star. He was so professional, friendly, replied fast and always was a helping hand. He even took a parcel we've send from Germany. We can definitely recommend the hotel. The rooms very nice and clean...

I planned a last minute vacation to Castiglioncello and was so happy with my stay. Roberto was so kind and helpful and told us all the good spots in town and offered to make reservations, hold our bags and always went out of his way to give us an amazing experience. The town was small, quiet, and peaceful and had a magical sort of feeling. It was such an amazing time!

At first, the room smelled like they emptied a whole bottle of chemicals there. A less smelly cleanser would be advisable. At least the room was spotless clean and cool during the hottest summer days. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with parking, bags, advices etc. The breakfast was not really enjoyable but that was not an issue considering its convenient location to the other restaurants...

Beautiful and charming and the staff is exceptional service

An extremely helpful Hotel. The breakfasts are good and varied. It is extremely well situated for the coast and for accessing the main road along the coast. Reception staff are very knowledgeable about local restaurants and areas of interest.

Hidden gem I would like to start this review saying that is my fourth time in Italy and this time I am spending over two weeks here. I have been in 3 starts and 4 starts hotels that I didn’t feel this much comfortable and well served. Everything from the beginning to the very end was perfect. We were guests for three nights in this hotel which seems more like a three star than a two. Everyone was very kind, the cleanliness was excellent. I would give special praise to the lady who manages the breakfasts because she has the patience of an elephant. Could use A/C but otherwise wonderful little hotel. Staff is very kind and helpful. There is also an adorable Nonna at reception, which you can't help but want to hug. Highly recommended, close to everything and very affordable. Clean rooms, good facilities.

We had such a great stay here! The family room was very cool, clean and comfortable, the staff super-friendly and welcoming and the location really great. One minute to the beach and five minutes to the train station, and a stroll through a pine grove to a charming collection of restaurants. And oh - the breakfast was really yummy!

Friendly service. Lovely fresh buffet breakfast with great pastries. Room nicely appointed, cleaned & towels changed regularly. Found the Solarium which had beautiful views. Would have liked coffee/tea making facilities & fridge. Apparently they serve food but don't mention facilities. Were offered use of a different hotel pool & sauna with 10% off food on the day before we were due to fly home...

Great hotel 5 minutes from the train station and 3 to the beach !

The most wonderful place. We have been treated marvellous. The room was clean, the veu was beautifully (to the sea). Breakfast home made was fantastic, I am speechless. My 5y old son enjoyed everything here. Grazzie per tutto.

Cozy residence, we had problems upon our arrival, the apartment had not been cleaned 😱😱 after our heated complaints they took care ..... The holiday went well !!! Rated 10 to the lifeguard of the residence .. Super polite, nice and welcoming!

Building surrounded by pine trees, meadows and hedges, very cared for by the staff, gardeners and lifeguards. The apartments, some on the ground floor, others on the first or second floor, unfortunately without a lift, are very pleasant, even if rather wet, but it is normal since they are just a few meters from the sea. Location just middle of town and very close to everywhere. Pension is a very very old big house that owner was born in there. Of course very old building and it doesn't have all utilities but price is half of other hotels also very clean. Room was big enough. Breakfast is enough. Biggest problem is no air condition. Visiting town for a friend's wedding, stayed 3 nights, Room was large, décor and furniture looking sort of old but clean. Lacked air-conditioning which was a bit of issue in mid June, leaving windows open was ok until night club on beach in line with window started up. The service is very good, the prices are very reasonable with breakfast in the morning and the staff is very kind And nearby on the beach, one minute free Wi-Fi

The structure is very simple but a lot of kindness, cleanliness and excellent location. So much culture, the owner is a poet Doc there are so many books that it sometimes felt like being in a library. I would go there again 😀

Cleaning ok breakfast ok dinner can be improved by letting customers choose at least between two seconds ..... but based on the price it's ok .... the month of July a bit expensive if the service is the same as June 20 € more are not few. Anyway I go back

Perfect place to relax and unwind, in the middle of nowhere. Breathtaking views, gorgeous rooms, tranquil, peaceful and just what we needed. The on-site restaurant served some of the best food we ate in Italy, and the staff were incredibly attentive. I would love to go back and stay for longer.

Very cosy place! We enjoyed very much the dishes accompanied with the right wines, the friendly and qualified service and the beautiful table near the pool as well. We totally recommend it! If we are in Tuscany we will come back for sure!

This place was incredible. Situated high above the sea, with nothing but open space and stunning views... it was stunning. Laura was friendly and very welcoming, and she was always happy to chat and help should we need it. We ate in the on-site restaurant 1 night and were very pleased with the food and service... both excellent. I would love to come back and visit again as I didn't see anywhere...

Stunning location, Laura, the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Apartment was very spacious and clean, the large terrace had excellent views of the sea and we really enjoyed sunsets there. Pool was spacious and very quiet, our family was alone at the pool the majority of the time. Access to a washing machine for a small fee. We wished we were staying longer and look forward to returning...

5 Star Property… beautiful farm location with amazing coastal views. Olive trees, horses, grape vines, flowers, etc. We enjoyed staying in the Lemon; The beds are comfy and large with perfectly fluffed pillows. Breakfast is tasty with plenty of options. Updated bathroom with bathrobes, extra towels, and blow dryer. Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Highly recommend
