Hotel Moderno

I recently stayed at Hotel Moderno, and my experience was a mix of comfort and charm with a few minor drawbacks. The hotel is well-situated, offering easy access to key attractions and transportation, which made it an ideal base for exploring the city.

• Location: The hotel’s central location is a significant advantage. It’s within walking distance of major sights, shops, and restaurants, making it convenient for both leisure and business travelers.

• Staff: The staff were consistently friendly and attentive. They were quick to offer assistance, whether it was for a simple inquiry or a more complex request. Their local knowledge was also a bonus, providing great recommendations for places to visit and eat.

• Room Size: While the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and I was lucky to be located in front the sea with a great balcony
The rooms were a bit on the smaller side, which might not be ideal for travelers with a lot of luggage or those staying for an extended period.

Overall, Hotel Moderno is a solid choice for travelers looking for a contemporary and conveniently located hotel. Despite a few minor issues, the positive aspects outweigh the negatives, making it a place I would consider staying at again.

I stayed at the Moderno at the end of August and first half of September when I was participating in the IDBF Club Crew World Championships in Ravenna. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even starting breakfast (which had a lot of selections) quite a bit earlier on days when me and my teammates needed to be at the races early in the day. And they were helpful with recommendations for places to eat and shop and never steered us wrong.

The rooms were tidy and cleaned everyday by the housekeepers. The clothes line on the balcony was handy for drying our shirts and towels.

The location of the hotel couldn’t be much better, particularly if you’re interested in going to the beach. The public beach is just down the road but you can access the ocean by walking through any of the beach clubs to the shoreline.

The courtyard in the front was a great place to relax at the end of a day of racing dragonboats, with tables, chairs and a swing under the trees.

I would happily recommend the Moderno to anyone travelling to Cervia and hope that I have a chance to stay there again.

Very good place. All near. Very good workers on reception, every day room cleaning. You can see the sea from balcony. We was completely satisfied! Grazie!

In general, an environment of very high quality, partly aging, but still with a lot of style. The rooms and all other areas were always clean. Unfortunately, the prices at the hotel bar were very high (more than 6 euros for a beer). The visit to the spa costs 20 euros per person per day and is totally worth it, there were two different Turkish baths, one normal and the other aromatic, as well as three different saunas. One of 10 meters and another smaller with massage jets and for children to play, surrounded by very comfortable beds to relax with electrically adjustable armrests

Very nice hotel and sea view from rooms are fabulous. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Tasty food and best place for vacation.

Great experience! Perfect location. Many rooms have sea view. Delicious food prepared with lots of love and care using fresh local ingredients (including even superfoods). Warm family-like welcome. I felt really at home. Thank you! I will be back for sure! ❤

Excellent value for money. Hotel located directly on the seafront, in an area equipped with all services, with a lateral or direct sea view, depending on the room (in the second case the view is spectacular). It has an agreement with the Dallara bathroom, just opposite, located between Bagno Marco and the Fantini Club (all excellent). Clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, small parking, very nice staff. I go back every year.
