Great location next to the beach. Range of options for breakfast, lunch or drinks close by, from 1 minute walk. Excellent room but the shower does require some navigation. Friendly staff who all speak English. There is a large earth Mount next to the hotel. You can eat breakfast and dinner outside.

I agree with some travellers that this hotel looks very cute when looked from outside and the location/view, directly on the sea is its main selling point. The rooms are definitely very clean and modern but poorly equipped (in the shower/bathroom position for shower gel is completely impractical, no pegs for 2 towels, bath very slippery). The beds look nice but have very sharp edge resulting in numerous bruises during our 3 day stay. Breakfast is unmemorable and the bar gets closed very early. By 22:00 we could not get any drinks. Limited parking spaces. For us this was overrated and over expensive (for what it offers) boutique hotel.

Very relaxing quirky designer hotel upgraded within a week preserved nineteenth century shell. Loved it for its quirks as shown in the hotel pictures. It grows on you. We loved it. Great location and Donnalucata is real off the beaten track Sicily with lovely beaches and plenty of local eateries in the vicinity of the hotel. Santo and his staff could not have been more charming or helpful in every way. Nice pool and private off road parking. Great value and lovely holiday chill experience on our 14 day touring adventure of Sicily.

We booked a “Prestige Seaview Room” direct with the hotel. On arrival we were allocated room 4. This is NOT a Seaview room. There is one small window out of the way near the bed with a view of the beach but as this hotel is on the waterfront, this is not a Seaview room. Disappointing.
Also, no one bothered to tell us that the restaurant was “closed for the season”.
The room was OK but the bathroom was absolutely dysfunctional. No separate shower only a bath on a pedestal which was very dangerous to get into/out of. The overhead shower in the bath with no screen absolutely soaked the bathroom.
The hotel had a great location on the waterfront and it would have been a four star review if the my had delivered as advertised.

The location brilliant the service very good and the accomodation modern all amenities first class breakfast each morning small buffet style but with great expresso coffee on tap highly recommended and it is a auiet little seaside place

Excellent hotel with expert and friendly staff (mention for Serena and Romeo). The location is nothing short of wonderful: the sunset from the room, with the Sun appearing to dive into the sea, is very romantic! To be recommended.

A converted beach front villa in a charming quiet seaside resort. Clearly they had to gut the place as the lovely period exterior gives way to an ultra modern interior. All rooms I believe have sea front views and all amenities although the missing tiles and hole in our bedroom floor was a bit of a let down as was the bathroom mirror starting to deteriorate. Pleasant small pool and handy car park. Lots of eateries of all grades-nearby. A pleasant buffet breakfast . In all a great place for a few days by the sea and handy for touring the nearby baroque towns if you have a car.

The food was cold, some dishes were too salty and some weren’t salty enough. Also, all the seafood was extremely fishy. The service was extremely poor and slow, we wouldn’t visit again.
