AM Collection Mini-hotel

We just loved our stay and appreciated the close location to the train station too! The room was spacious, clean and nicely appointed with a great breakfast. As others have said, there is no elevator and would be an issue if you are arriving early or late as you may not have help. We would definitely stay here again next time in Florence (hopefully sooner than later).

Charlotte was very welcoming and friendly with great insights on places to go and where to eat. Rooms were lovely and location perfect for exploring the major sites of Florence and only a short walk to the train station. Would highly recommend

This place is truly a gem! Great location. Walking distance to anywhere really. Alberto and staff were super kind, friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed at was quiet, pretty, with black out curtains, AC and beautiful tiled bathroom! Comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was sparkling clean! Ok let’s rave about the breakfast! Delicious, plentiful and delivered to the room. Highly recommended! Thank you Alberto for making us feel at home.

I feel like this place is a hidden gem in Florence! The hotel is right by Basilica of Santa Maria Novella making it convenient to walk to many of the touristy locations in the city. Also the room has so much character and I was comfortable throughout the stay. Finally, Alberto and Charlotte are the sweetest people. Alberto gave me so many good recommendations for food and gelato and made sure I was set for the day. The breakfast was warm & filling :)

*Note: You do have to go up several flights of stairs so keep that in mind while thinking of what type of baggage to bring. I had a medium-sized suitcase and was out of breath by the top though Alberto helped me half-way up. I also heard moderate street noises at night the first two nights, but it was quiet for the next two so it might just be a weekend thing.

This is the kind of place one hesitates to review, lest it's fully booked the next time *you* want to stay there, but AM Collection is too great not to share! Alberto is an amazing host, communicative, friendly and above all accommodating. I am vegan and he somehow found a plant based cheese for the one of a kind breakfast you get every morning in your room. When I inquired about peanut butter, not a staple in Florence, there it was the next morning. None of this is possible without Chloe, who Alberto was lucky to find. Such a great person to start your day with, as she brings in coffee and food, is there to give you helpful tips on the things to do, see and experience. Lastly, location. Just a few minutes walk from literally every must see thing in the city, as well as five minutes to the train station, which will take you all over the country (and beyond) - the B & B is nestled in a quiet little section away from the crowds. It's perfect!

Best place to stay in Florence! Position is perfectly central, walking distance to all the main attractions and close to the train station. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean, my vegan breakfast was excellent, prepared with love! But best were the hosts Alberto and Merve - so nice, kind and attentive! I left two books there by mistake and they were so kind to send them immediately to my home. Thank you for such a nice stay!

Stayed for 4 nights. Great place to stay and the host is really fantastic. Breakfast is delicious. My only caution would be that the downstairs neighbours can be noisy. This isn't the fault of Alberto so no effect on rating!

The room was a decent size compared to most similar places in the area. Great service. The owner makes homemade breakfast cakes for you every morning. We were there over a holiday weekend and the bar across the street was very loud till about 3 am every night. Not the hotels fault though.

Just an amazing place to stay in Florence.

Great location close to Firenze S.M.N. station.

Alberto and his staff are very friendly and the breakfast was great, with orange juice, cappuccino and homemade cakes.

I would come back again certainly!

In the centre of Florence, room big enough, bed comfortable and bathroom with a water pressure important (a very important detail for us).

Staying for two days in Florence, we booked a one bedroom (+bathroom) room. Host is amazingly curtious and helpful, and bakes all of the cakes in the complimentary breakfast. We would stay here again!
