We had an amazing stay. The staff is very welcoming, and sat us down with cappuccinos and fresh water while explaining the hotel amenities. The location is superb. We got massages which were also excellent and reasonably priced! The included breakfast is vast and includes fresh fruit, pastries, breads, and a juicer. I would highly recommend this hotel!

I have never had a better experience at a hotel!! This place felt like home away from home. The beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing fresh squeezed juice every morning. We had a wonderful stay! The location provides easy access to everything we wanted to do but was also a quiet oasis. The staff is lovely!

Stayed here for three nights. Absolute hidden gem and very aesthetically pleasing property. Rooms were clean, with excellent facilities. Open buffet breakfast included in the price. HUDA and RAHA were amazing and made us feel like VIPs. Only downside I could think of is that the rooms aren’t well sound-proofed (due to the fact that it is a very historical building).

A very lovely hotel (part of the RoomMate chain) and well located for all the sights. It is about 20 minutes walk from the main train station, 10 from the Central Market and 20 from the Duomo. Room & bed were great and location is excellent, just 10min from the Cathedral. Breakfast was a mess as we had to wait 15min before we could order, not sure if it was covid related as they seemed understaffed but that was less professional. Don't have drinks in the lobby, a tiny beer costs 5euro, the same one in the bar across the street is 2euro and has a nicer terrace.

I don't have issues with quaint locations but this one needs quite a bit of updating. The painting on the headboard is faded, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken, the light by the bed didn't work, there wasn't an iron or ironing board and I think the hair dryer was from the 60s. This was a perfect budget hotel for one night in Florence. The room was small but had everything I needed: tv, towels, hair dryer, good WiFi, warm shower, and a fridge. The staff were very nice and willing to store my luggage after I checked out. Be mindful that the city tax of €4 is cash only and not included in the price of the hotel.

Cute Hotel! On the "First" floor, has a small elevator for luggage. Breakfast is light (in typical Italian fashion) and decent. If it did not come with my booking, I'd probably skip it though for a quick espresso and pastry at one of the abundant cafes. Room was cleaned after every night and towels replenished. Stayed at Mario's for a week in 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. The room was neat and clean and the view was out to the street which was rich with street life. Their morning breakfast was what we needed to start our busy day walking around Florence and all it's treasures. And it was relaxing as we arrived back for our restful night!

I liked staying here, it's easy to find from the main train station, it's central, the service is great and the rooms has character but I can only give 4 stars because the bed and the pillows could have been more comfortable.
