Excellent hotel if your in 20s-30s. Rey modern, incredible vibe, extremely friendly staff. Great rooftop pool and bar. That said, the rooms are TINY and barely fit the bed. The shower is literally 2ftx2ft and I had to T-Rex it. For couples in their 40s+, either get the biggest suite they have or stay elsewhere. If your 20’s-30’s, you’ll LOVE this place!
Great hotel. The pool and lobby were great places to hang out. Two negative points: - the bed was really hard - they advertise a laundry self-service but 3/5 dryers were not working and 2/5 washing machine as well. The dryers that were ‘functioning’ did not dry anything so we had to get out in Florence to find another laundry service that we paid for and took 1-2 hours of our time. I would recommend...
Amazing hotel! Super friendly staff and amazing facilities. The roof top pool and bar was offers a stunning view of Florence. We got an incredible experience for very reasonable price. The room was clean and comfortable with excellent brand for shampoo and body balm. The ceiling was tall so it feels very spacious. Definitely will come back!
Very nice hotel, there's a lot going on. the room was clean, except for the bed sheet which had a blood stain. the staff is friendly, the only maintenance is very slow. they were supposed to come in 10 minutes, but realistically it took him a good hour to come and look at the electrical problem in the room. very nice view on the terrace with the pool. good cocktails and very friendly service. the journey...
This hotel is a wonderful choice for a comfortable stay, with a great vibe throughout. One of the highlights is the stunning rooftop lounge and pool area, offering breathtaking views of the city. There’s also a lovely café with options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and the service is excellent. Hotel provides washing and drying machines, which is incredibly convenient. There are quiet...
I stayed here for three nights and was having an amazing time. Appreciate all the staff's efforts in creating such a friendly vibe! The room, the gym, the laundry system, and the rooftop bar are all fabulous. The WiFi connection is great for digital nomads, and the co-working space is super cozy. I specifically appreciate the eco-friendly design everywhere, including the showers. I will miss this beautiful...

It's close to the station and the view from the room was amazing! The room was quite spacious and had a separate bathroom and shower room, as well as two toilets, which was very helpful! The furniture in the room was stylish and I was very satisfied. I was also happy that they opened the breakfast area where we could eat free coffee and snacks, and I was able to enjoy cappuccino and cocoa. The pistachio...
Second time staying at this marvelous hotel with a large group. The staff is so attentive and really goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. From big (packing up breakfast boxes for us all for early morning departures) to small (loaning some packing tape so I could try to get a suitcase through one more flight) they do it all. The front desk staff was always SO kind and helpful to us...
Their communication skills are excellent from the time you made a reservation, reminder emails about upcoming trips & if you have concerns/questions etc, they promptly respond to your email in less than 24 hrs. Breakfast & snack rooms are nice. Front desk staffs & breakfast crews are friendly & courteous. Being in the middle of the city, sometimes can be noisy at night time; windows won't block the...
Conveniently located with super friendly and helpful staff. The room was a bit outdated, but it had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the free coffee/drinks and snacks in the breakfast room!
We had an amazing long stay here. The staff was helpful and attentive. The location of the hotel is perfect for travelers looking to spend time in the historic city center. We were able to walk to all of the major sites and anytime we needed to arrange transport the hotel staff was able to promptly arrange it for us! We would absolutely return to the Hotel Paris.

It is excellent hotel! 10/10 The staff was very nice, the room was extra clean, way to Firence center is so easy!
stay in town. we stayed for a couple of nights Dec 21-23. they were doing renovations. So there was no access to the executive level and the rooms & although we seemed to have gotten an updated room it was small and had no view. Personally it was one of the worst Hilton’s I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was terrible and so weak. definitely not Hilton quality status. Shameful
The staff of the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed that they had a shuttle that would take us to the tram to get down to the city center. Upon arrival when I asked if there were any upgrades available, they had already upgraded our room which included a great view from the 14th floor and access to the Concierge level with snacks. We chose this hotel because it was only about 10 minutes...
Really clean public areas and nice, friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is located a bit outside the center, near the airport and they have a free shuttle bus into the center. A clean hotel and friendly staff.
Fantastic (distant) views of the whole of Florence, including the Duomo etc. Great facilities and high quality of service, as to be expected from Hilton, I love this hotel! If you are not compelled to stay in the centre of Florence, this is the place to choose.

This truly is a 5-star hotel, exceeding expectations in every way. The property is stunningly beautiful and impeccably clean. The service was exceptional, with staff demonstrating genuine kindness. The hotel's location is ideal. We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday here, and the staff went above and beyond with thoughtful surprises and gestures. Highly recommended.
One of the best hotels I’ve been to. The staff were amazing super friendly and helpful. The Christmas decorations made me feel like a little kid loved it 😍 everything was a walkable distance from the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay would definitely book again 👍🏻
We enjoyed a FANTASTIC seven night stay at this hotel over the Christmas period. The hotel retains all the splendour of the original family's palace residence, complemented by friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holiday season and was perfect for exploring the magic of Florence. Highly recommended!
One of the best places we have stayed and the best for our trip to Italy. Conveniently located to the bus station and many of the attractions in Florence. The staff was top notch. Note that in the winter the balcony is closed but you can still access it, just no staff or bar attendant. I give them extra points for the holiday decorations! Oh yeah and the breakfast was amazing everyday.
I stayed at this beautiful hotel in Florence two years ago, and my experience was absolutely unforgettable. Upon check-in, the receptionist, Francesco, warmly welcomed me and went above and beyond by upgrading my room. The room itself was impressively spacious, more than I could have imagined, and filled with high-quality amenities that truly enhanced my stay. Every detail was well thought out, with...
Just a 5 minute walk from the train station and right smack in the middle of Florence. Easy access to all attractions. Friendly and professional service. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast buffet is outstanding and way above average. Aria rooftop bar is magical. Great cocktail program.

It was wonderful to return to this stunning hotel, ideally set on the banks of the river Arno, just a 10 minute stroll from the Ponte Vecchio. The hotel is quiet, beautiful and the epitome of 5 star. The beds are sumptuous. We opted for a premium guest room with an Arno view, and felt it was definitely worth the extra cost. My only criticism is that the rooms lack a coffee machine, something that’s...
This is the premiere hotel in Florence. Better than any other! Great location, great rooms, fantastic service and staff. Over the past 18 years I have stayed close to 50 times and it never disappoints. Particularly fantastic are the Concierges and the Doormen. Always attentive and extremely welcoming, accomodating. Being in Florence is always Magical and the Excelsior just makes it better...
The guest rooms are spacious; the pillows and linens remind me of home. The hotel is centrally located, no need for a taxi. The staff at Excelsior though is truly exceptional. They know us by name, remember activities from the previous day and ask about them the following day. We have loved our stay here and look forward to many returns.
I wish I could remember everyone's name who works here and thank them personally. Such friendly, professional, smart people! Every single one was so pleasant, from the Front Desk, door men, bartenders, waitresses, the people who cleaned and made up the room. It was a fantastic 3 night stay and we did not want to. leave. I do remember Beatrice showing us around the hotel, giving us a history lesson...
During my stay, the hotel was undergoing a large-scale renovation. Half of the entrance was sealed, the lobby became smaller, and the rooftop restaurant with a view was closed. It looks like this project will take more than a year to complete.
Was lucky enough to get a chance to stay at this historical property because of a work event we were organizing in Italy. Due to my platinum status, I was upgraded to an Arno view room, and I must say everything about it was stunning. The room, the view and the little touches that the team has put into making our stay memorable. Location wise it's perfect, since it's located in the middle of town...

We didn't stay at this hotel, but wandered in off the square to take a look around. A beautiful mix of modern amenities and ancient ruins, the lobby desk is adorned with 2 massive chandeliers and there are plenty of small quiet spaces to sit with windows overlooking the cathedral (and free wifi!).
Excellent location - walking distance from the train station and most prominent attractions. Professional, friendly, English-speaking staff. Absolutely beautiful hotel close to the sights. Beautiful rooms with plenty of space and complimentary water, soft drink and tea/coffee plus milk sachets. The breakfast room on the 5 th floor has fantastic views and lovely food. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in during my Italian holiday. I definitely will stay here again!
This place feels special from the moment you walk in. It had a delightful terrace with some of the best views in town where you can have drinks at night and breakfast in the morning. My wife and I were super excited checking into the hotel… It was extremely nice, and though the room is dark (as I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews), it has an old-world charm that we both thought was great… Not at all a negative. I wish I could give Hotel Savoy additional stars. Five star hotels across the world are not equal and our trip, which has included only five star hotels, has illustrated that point to us again. Hotel Savoy ‘gets it.’ We stayed in a beautiful one...
Great hotel right in center of Florence! Nice rooms (we had 2 connecting rooms for my husband and me and our children). Breakfast was great, everyone who worked at the hotel was very helpful and kind, nice common spaces, air conditioning worked great during a heat wave. Would definitely recommend!
The hotel is fantastically positioned in central Florence and the staff were all exceptionally attentive and helpful.
Simply fabulous hotel. We had two weeks in Umbria in a wonderful quiet villa in the hills (pool, sun, gorgeous food and stars every night, etc) and decided to end the holiday with a couple of nights of luxury in Florence. Renovated Irene Bar is magnificent! The staff and people ambience is exceptional. You will not be disappointed! Giambattista,Martina,David,Natalia, Frederico, Mahyar exceeded expectations for my wife and I…Thank You! The amberjack / Himalayan salt appetizer is marvelous! See you again! Chip
Service was outstanding…staff was very kind, concierge team were TOP….but the property doesn’t merit the cost. We got an upgrade, but when you cannot sleep, size of the room doesn’t really matter… Mattress is not “five star” (but the rates are), the noise outside means you take an afternoon nap and the AC cannot cool the room on a hot summer day. I would not stay here again. Not for me.

I would give five stars, if there wasn't the shower :/ While the bathroom is big, clean and nice, the shower just doesn't keep a steady temperature. So without touching anything, it goes from warm to burning hot intermittently.
The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged to stay at. Just a few steps from Florence city center, NH hotel is an amazing place, with clean and well presented rooms and high quality of service. Front desk was extremely efficient, hospitable and helpful. Highly recommended.
