We had a great stay at the hotel. In fact the negative comments people posted recently is very insensitive, considering this is a difficult time for everyone, especially people in the hospitality/tourism industry. Hotels have been closed during Covid and now that they have reopened, most hotels are having difficulty with staff and technicalities. The general public should understand it is difficult...

We only stayed here for 1 night but the staff were friendly and the views from the very large balcony were lovely. Aircon very noisy. Breakfast was an okay buffet but just look at the sunrise. We didn't have time to look around but apparently it is difficult to walk to the beach from this hotel.

It's our second visit to the hotel. The view and design is spectacular. The hotel is located on the side of a mountain that is falling into the beautiful beach of Sicily. This view from everywhere in the hotel is making a very relaxing atmosphere. We highly recommend dinner at the hotel restaurant, with very good value for money. Many dishes are made on order in front of you, pasta, grilled meats...

Stunning views of bay. Private beach. 2 pools. As its low season here, we are the only people on the beach today. Sunny &/warm helps as well. Stunningly beautiful.

Two nice pools: shallow one warms quickly and is just deep enough to swim in; but you need confidence for the deep pool (it has no shallow end!). There's nowhere to walk on site except up and down the short drive - the main road is far too dangerous for pedestrians. A courtesy bus can be booked for visits to town or the allocated beach. Lots of steps within the hotel buildings, giving character but...

Beautiful hotel very well located between Taormina and Forza Agro. Pools are awesome with huge wiew on the bay. Rooms also offer a beautiful panorama.

Hotel with all conditions, great rooms,spa, pool, private beach, tennis and football field and saturdays disco on the old theater...but need to improve in wifi service, english language, quality of dinner (buffet 35e per person plus drinks) and minor works...overall good place to have holidays

Was here 3 years ago and now again - a lot of changes for the better. Rest with great pleasure. I was here warm and comfortable !

We stayed at the time when Covid mainly kills livelihood. Nevertheless, the hotel managed beautifully. The reception staff are great, also the restaurant. The menu is slightly limited (in a normal time I would take off a star). The room is clean and the view of the beach is to die for. Great location.

What you note first is how kind people working there is. After you see how clean and rooms . The breakfast is almost perfect with a big choice. Not the maximum of stars as no parking in the hotel.

Hotel Solemar was good, and only good, i mean the service was great but the whole area and hotel looks run down. My room was all right but i could see it had a few problems including broken door handles and broken fixtures and cupboards. Very well located, but difficult to reach, particularly on night arrivals, due to lack of signs and bad road conditions. Pleasant place, cool and with minimal stuff to cook. No toaster, no tea pot, but as they offer breakfast, not necessarily a complaint!

It's a nice, mall and simple mountain hotel. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was quite good (compared to the Italian standard). Unfortunately, the bathroom was dirty and smelled badly.

After the first impact with the access road to the Borgo, nothing short of hallucinating in some places, we discovered a very quiet, welcoming and historically very important place. The courtesy and availability of Mrs. Angela, in charge of the reception, confirmed the renowned hospitality of the Sicilian people. Absolutely to come back.

It is what it is - a 3-star hotel :) The rooms are clean though the AC doesn’t work, the rooftop terrace is very nice, the pool was good, but could be better maintained. The staff is cordial and professional. The hotel is very close to the beach and restaurants.

Nice little hotel in Letojanni near famous Taormina. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. It has a great view from the balcony.

It was the second time in 6 years, we were here and both time we were very satisfied. The Hotel is not far away from Taormina and the beach is across the street. The room was nice, the view lovely. The owner and the stuff were very kind and helpful, the breakfast was delicious.

We had booked a room with a lateral sea view and were given a small room with a not so nice view . After talking to the reception regarding change of room they told us that the hotel was fully booked but they would try to find a better solution asap. In fact after 2 nights they changed our room to a bigger one with a nice lateral sea view and kept their promise. Finally this is great customer service...

It may be the best hotel in this town? If you like MODERN; LOCATION and STYLE, its the place to go. A modern hotel on the beach front. Rooms are a good size with ample storage space and excellent beds. The staff are friendly and the included breakfast buffet is one of the best I have come across in quite a while. There is a wide range of hot and cold, sweet and savoury dishes on offer. Great hotel rooms with beach/ sea view are the best. Clean and well kept. Reception and bar staff great only down side was dining staff, they appeared too busy or just not interested.

We really loved this hotel! The food was SUPER and we slept very well. We could park the car infront of the hotel as well. It is a really good family hotel and they are really friendly. Very good hotel and clean rooms. The staff is great and very helpful. Also the breakfast is decent. Also make sure you get a room with a view over the sea. Overall the experience was very good. Oh and you get a free sun bed at the beach if you staying at the San Vincenzo.

l've been here for a week and I've been having a great time. The room is spacious and clean. The pools and the beaches are wonderful and the evening are always fun because of the music. There is good food but the dining area is a bit chaotic. The pasta is really good, the second dishes are good too but a bit repetitive. I never got desserts but they looked ok. Large hotel spread over many levels on steep hillside. Beach is about 200 metres away but across busy roads. Two good pools, but food was average. All inclusive is sold hard, but without it there is no easy way to get a drink in the evening. Seemed to be a distinctive shortage of staff. Reception staff were friendly by others quite brusque.

Beautiful place to stay for a long weekend of doing nothing. Spacious rooms, delicious buffet restaurant and quick access to either pool or the nice beach of Letojanni. Not far from Taormina, the Etna volcano and the beautiful locations of Eastern Sicily although you will need a car to reach them (or rely on the hotel's planned excursions)

Excellent farmhouse located in the hills 10 minutes from the sea. Beautiful views and peace and tranquility make this place a hidden paradise where you can relax. Equipped with swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Dear employees and the owner. The foods served are prepared with care and reflect local traditions. There is also a convenient parking.

We had an amazing time at this enchanting place. Perfect for the kids, with the lovely swimming pool and comfortable rooms. The views are stunning, the food delicious (do try their tasty pizzas by the metre!) and the hosts, Rossella and Marcello, welcoming and very attentive to our needs. All in all, a fantastic place where to relax and unwind at a very reasonable price.

We stayed at the agritourismo for two nights and really enjoyed it. The owners were very very friendly, kind and lovely. The room was nice and very clean - so was the restaurant. Breakfast was yummy with warm croissants and good coffee. We also had dinner in the restaurant: really good pizza and pasta! We can really recommend this agritourismo and hope to come back one day!

Excelent place for family. Beautiful seaview from the top Apartment and very kind and helpful Staff! The upper suite is very large and clean, there are even two bathrooms! The biggest asset is a large terrace with an unforgettable sea view! I heartily recommend it, a great place for a family!

Wonderful and special person, Fabio, made us feel real guests. Nothing was impossible to him, for satisfying us. The accomodation in a two rooms apartment, all new, including washing machine, with 2! air conditioning systems, and a huge balcony "watching" to the sea, at the 4-th floor with elevator, was perfect. The breakfast terrace is very pretty with a beautiful view. The breakfast, on the other hand, leaves a little to be desired. Train passing in front of the hotel a little noisy from the room. I stayed at this hotel for a week in October. Our room had one plug which was in an awkward place to get to behind the TV so we had to move the table to get to the plug. There was another plug but when we tried to use it the plug came apart! The plugs didn't work to start with so we asked staff who told us that we need to switch the light on for it to work which we were never told on check in. There...

The hotel is excellent; clean; friendly staff - with a horrible entrance for one arriving by car! The road (supposedly two way) is very, very narrow and goes straight down a hill by the sea. One in the hotel you have to leave your car since one must walk to the cable car which takes you to the center of Taormina.......which, even in September, was full of tourists. The restaurants were also tourist...
