This hotel, consisting of several historical buildings situated in a beautiful Park that separates it from the town and beach. Its construction had a hand count Stenbock cousin of Nicholas II. You stylish rooms and attentive staff.
Built: 1912
Location: 4 km from Gaeta centre, 3 km from the railway station of Formia, 80 km from Naples airport.
Consists of 5 historic buildings.
Just 49 rooms.
Total area: 60 000 m2.
Beach: public, sandy, 250 m from the hotel (1 coastline). Umbrellas and sunbeds for a fee.
On the hotel territory: hour reception, conference hall, bar, restaurant, outdoor pool, safe Deposit box at reception

The object is great. Rooms are located in different villas, surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens. In the center of the pool, which I would call wonderful. For dinner we ate in the garden surrounded by a magical atmosphere. The solarium overlooking the sea can be easily reached on foot. All employees are friendly and will respond to any of your requests.

Do you love Italy, but prefer to live a little away from the tourist bustle? That way! A measured, respectable holiday within walking distance from any resort "ugliness" :) Good rooms, excellent cuisine, helpful, professional staff. My post is not advertising, but the experience of many years of visits

Villa Irlanda is not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel and definitely not worth the money they are asking.
Pros: the pool area (lovely), the private pier to enjoy the sea, the bathroom (beautiful and very comfortable).
Cons: the bedrooms are very dated, the breakfast is super basic (probably the worst one I have seen for a 4* hotel), the dinner for half-board guests is very late and choice is extremely limited, and overall the service in the hotel was really bad.

I stayed at Villa Irlanda in September 2013 -rooms are very comfortable rooms many with sea views, beautiful swimming pool , manicured gardens, great restaurant with local food , friendly and professional staff ... a dream location for a wedding reception in Italy!

Beautiful place, clean, charming and a spectacular swimming pool. However, the staff at the bar was unfriendly and didn’t bother requests. The breakfast didn’t meet our expectation at all- we had to wait half an our to be served and the food was packaged. All in all, a good experience but service should improve to justify the price

Very beautiful territory of oranges and lemons can be extracted from the branches. The pool is large but not deep.sea across the road. Small and with rocks.
