Relais San Severo Mini-hotel

We had a lovely time in Naples and this little hotel played an important part. Well located in the heart of the old town, surrounded by cafes, bars and history, it's a real gem. Matteo was brilliant and arranged our airport transfers, welcomed us warmly and answered all our questions. He even helped when I didn't know how to buy a bus ticket! The hotel is small, it doesn't offer breakfast but its rooms are beautiful, the views from the roof terrace are gorgeous. Surrounded by places to eat, we didn't struggle to find tasty breakfasts. Thank you Matteo for an amazing stay.

This is a great little apartment hotel in a fun and lively area. Easy access to a taxi stand and friendly people everywhere. Would stay again.

Reasonably priced and in the centre of Naples. Room was spacious. Loved our balcony too. Lovely rooftop where we sat one afternoon pity that the hot tub was not available as it would have been ideal, after all the walking. Hotel is close to plenty of restaurant and bars. There were 5 adults and we all loved the area and hotel. We would definately come back and recommend to our friends.

Only negative is with both our bookings we shoild have had a bottle of proseco. When we asked about the mini bar the member of staff said everything was extra. At the time we forgot about the proseco until we got home.

Naples is an interesting city, it doesn’t look the most welcoming. It has constant movement, where you’ll be dodging mopeds and has graffiti everywhere. However Relais San Severo was conveniently placed next to a main shopping street while also being tucked away enough so you don’t hear the movement and feel safe. It was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. If I ever come to Naples again, I will be a repeat customer.

We used the transfer service offered by the Hotel and that was excellent also.

The walls of the room are paper thin and there was a gap in the shower door so all the water spurted out 😬 but it wasn’t enough to mark down the Hotel.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city.
The hotel is situated right in the heart of the historical centre, stepping out of the door to so many excellent places to eat and attraction's. The atmosphere outside the hotel was amazing and a real experience. Inside the hotel was modern and clean. Above all our room was tucked away overlooking a beautiful garden and very tranquil. Hard to believe your in the middle of everything. Our hosts answered all our questions and were very helpful. Guaranteed a peaceful night sleep. When I return to Naples I will definitely stay here again.

Only stayed one night on route, was a great stopover. Was initially hard for the taxi driver to find.

This is NOT a full service hotel so be prepared for this. The location is great (once you find it the first time) staff was extremely helpful with respect to getting a shuttle and access. We were disappointed that the fancy soaker tub was not functional but the room is nice, washroom clean and modern. Roof patio is nice but not really usable.

When we first got dropped off by the taxi we were quite worried because of how busy it was in the area. We found the address and went up the elevator to an incredible suite with a balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. It also had a rooftop balcony with a view of Mt Vesuvius and the ocean. Matteo was great and provided us with a map and showed where the attractions are. He gave us a number to call anytime if we needed anything including transportation. We highly recommend anyone travelling to Naples to stay at Relais San Severo. You’ll love it! Scott and Sarah!

Bang in the heart of not just the charming old centre but right on the block where the street partying takes place till the early mornings of the weekends. But no noise pollution due to the small boutique hotel being on the (very high!) fourth floor of the old building that has its entrance in the courtyard off the street.

We traveled with our two sons (17 and 10) and it worked but wouldn’t stay with our younger daughters there due to the unconventionality of the accommodation:

No public areas or services, just straight up rooms (only six of them all in the one corridor off the reception) which are fitted in modern and marbled design.

Room no 3 is spacious with a nice four poster bed, no 1 is less so but both still had room for a bidet in the all tiled bathrooms which has an LED light feature in the shower! Both also have a French balcony: from room 3 you can view the Vesuvius Mountain. Theres a price listed minibar and my husband really liked the mattress

Reception is not 24h but communication was very good and personal through WhatsApp.

I was looking forward to the roof terrace but it was bare and unused serving merely as a panorama lookout point. Not to worry, the most important thing for us was that the hotel was clean and had some form of luxury for the night we stayed in Napoli!
