We stayed in one of the suites, the Il Burrato. It was traditional in keeping with the antico property. Had basic cooking facilities and a fridge. Direct access to the garden and pool and a table outside. It was a bit hidden when we traveled in the first day but that on the other hand also gives a silent place in the city center

We were a group of 9 which meant we had 5 bedrooms and each bedroom and it's own bathroom which made it really nice. We all shared the kitchen which worked out nicely for all of us. We created so many great meals and enjoyed them outside on the patio over looking the most incredible scenery. Every morning my sister and I took a short walk into town and enjoyed the cute shops and a cup of cappuccino

Lovely quiet hotel with pool and grounds, located 2mins from Greve piazza. We stayed here for two nights whilst attending a wedding, and was more than adequate for our stay, hosts were very nice, rooms clean, however bear in mind, this is room only, so you will need to stock up on supplies from shops or restaurants which are a stone throw away. We came across this restaurant very last minute and managed to get a booking on a Sunday evening. Our overnight stay here was great. Upon arriving we were asked if we wanted to dine in the restaurant that night and reserved us a spot (the food was delicious so highly recommend). The accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed plus the bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

In Chiocchio about 10 minutes north of central Greve. The hotel is better than advertised. The owner is extremely helpful and accommodating who had the room set at a comfortable temperaturedue to the cooler weather. Lots of parking across the street. Comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, nice private outside balcony facing back of nicely landscaped greenery.

Francesco, he was friendly and caring everything. He prepared breakfast even before 9am because i had to leave to the airport. Very quiet places with view of vineyard.

It’s a decent place but not more. The room was quite small, the shower tiny. The bathroom had seen better days (cracked tiles etc) but everything was clean. The air conditioning made some noice so I had to turn it off. The breakfast was quite basic. But the location is great!

A small hotel set on the edge of a glorious square with a number of restaurants. The hotel has a good sized pool and very pleasant seating area. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet was good. Most notably of all the staff were excellent. So helpful and happy and made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you.

I really liked the staff. They were very helpful. The room was a good size but the bathroom shower was a bit small. I would stay again when I visit Greve-in-Chianti.

This is a very nice hotel! The rooms are average, but everything else is super: friendly and helpful staff, garden with pool, excellent location on the piazza. It was hot during our visit, up to 35 degrees, but the AC made our room nice cool and so was the lobby.

It is a beautiful, almost divine environment, the forest around is home to many wild animals. The rooms are welcoming and clean, the garden is magnificent and there is a swimming pool which is also suitable for children. Beautiful views, with lovely and thoughtful hosts. It is definitely back in the woods, so you should plan accordingly - it's about 10 minutes off the road, and not terribly close to anything. It's a wonderful place to go and stay for a bit - there's a pool and lots of outdoor seating that overlooks the mountains. The hostess will make dinner for a reasonable charge.

Although the area was somewhat difficult to find, the property was absolutely stunning. We received a home cooked course-by-course meal that was fantastic the evening of our stay. Bathrooms and bedrooms were equipped with everything we needed. WiFi was hit or miss but other members of my party didn't seem to have this issue. Great stay!

We spent 4 amazing days at Villa Bordoni. The staff are simply amazing, extremely courteous and made our trip feel as if we were visiting with old friends. Absolutely amazing stay at Villa Bordoni. The Family Suite was perfect for my party of four and the staff at the Villa were first class. The view was beautiful and so centrally located to all the great sites. Enjoyed our dip in the pool each afternoon and the restaurant was equally as fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!

The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. I love the rustic nature and how the management has been able to maintain the 14th century buildings. The products in the shop were fantastic. The only minus is that we wanted the massage with oil but this was not available. The breakfast was very good with lots of varieties to choose from.

My fiance and I visited Vignamaggio to celebrate our engagement, and it was absolutely magical. The property and its views are breathtaking. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Davide, who was so kind and helpful and took extra care in making sure we had everything we needed. And don't even get me started on the food- some of the best meals we had in Italy. We definitely plan to be back!

One of the most beautiful villages I've seen on my Tuscany trip.

Montefioralle, it is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Over the centuries, the village spread beyond the walls to occupy the lower slopes of the hill, creating Greve in Chianti.

loved the remoteness and beautiful scenery of the vineyard and animals. the path leading down to Greve was also beautifully lit by rainbow lights that make you feel more at-home. The chef was exceptional with dinner and a personal cooking class - Grazie Mille!!

One of the best "hotel" experiences I've ever had. Everyone here is truly authentic and friendly. The estate is absolutely beautiful and carefully decorated so guests have a perfect stay. Perfect location for touring Tuscany. The castle from the 10th to the 13th century is beautiful and romantic. In the huge room you feel as if you have moved to the early Middle Ages. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is correct and clean.

We were there during Easter time and had very nice weather. The location is lovely with fantastic view from terrace. Elene was very helpful. And wine was great!

Good organic wine for reasonable price

My boyfriend and I stayed here in June and the hosts were so lovely! As soon as we arrived they let us know the places to check out around. We also did a wine tasting here and it was more than we could have asked for. Generous amounts of wine and the food pairings were so tasty! The views are to die for. It’s a short walk (but hilly) to town but we didn’t mind. The pool was a huge plus as well!

We enjoyed a wine tasting (private) as a closing of a 2h bike tour (with tuscany bike tours). We enjoyed 6 Wines with some local specialities and a guided tour through the celars (rather small but with all the info you need) . Perfect if you want a private wine tasting. Great view. Perfect closing of our holiday in the area.
