We enjoyed being outdoors. The service was very good. We picked the tasting menu with mixed reviews. The puffs with sausage and chestnut were excellent, soup was OK, didn't care for the egg dish, ravioli with beet was good, duck was tough but delicious, rabbit and chicken disappointing, dessert was good. We stumbled across this great restaurant on a longer drive. Ambitious cooking making great pasta with their own signature going outside the otherwise, good but repetitive, local pasta served everywhere else. Very fresh and tasty pastas beautifully presented. We had lunch but on the backside there seems to be a larger terrace with great views of the hills.

We had a great time (2 adults, 1 3 year old and 1 dog). The pool in particular was very nice for us. Location, view and apartment are great. The only small drawback: there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in the evening and no nets on the windows, which is why we closed them after a few bites.

A good residence with swimming pool, in relation to the price paid the mini apartments are positively surprising for how large, well furnished and clean. Rich and varied breakfast. It is an apartment-style hotel with cooking facilities and comfortable beds. The swimming pool is very clean and the children are very happy to play in the water every day. The accommodation is so nice to come to. Every morning we woke up with a beautiful view of the Tuscany hills. The people at the reception are also very nice and helpful, they will do anything for you if you ask them. Despite the fact that our car broke down, we had the most wonderful stay at Chianti Village.

It was a perfect apartment for a small family with a child. Very clean with everything you need. Swimming pool was just perfect and there were a lot of possibilities for excursions around the accommodation. We found a great play ground in Barberino Val d’Elsa. It is for all age categories and there is a bar for aperitivo or a small restaurant to eat right next to it. Our daughter loved it.

What a gorgeous winery, with such a beautiful history, vacation home of Michelangelo. The wine was complex and interesting, a good aging one for sure. I would return to stay here and enjoy the tranquility.

Scenic, nice property. Not very accessible strongly suggest a car. Taxis are hard to get. Swimming pool is not heated but good size and clean. Local town is a few kms away but hard to get to on foot.

The place is a true corner of paradise, completely isolated on the top of a hill with stunning views around, Vines and olive trees cover the gentle rolling hills. Plenty of outdoor seating with free benches, gazebos and deck chairs are available to complete the relax. A bottle of local wine was kindly offered as a courtesy welcome.

Spent 3 nights here after traveling down from Lucca. Easy to find, nice friendly greeting. The staff were friendly and helpful and we found the breakfast more than ample with lots of choices. Completed a wonderful cooking lesson with Anna (who has a great backstory). Learned numerous authentic cooking tips through the session and enjoyed our incredible tiramisu and hand-made fettuccine.

In a strategic position for a stay of a few days and visit the heart of Tuscany. In the paths that will be taken to reach the various locations (Certaldo, Volterra, San Gimignano, etc.) you will be able to enjoy splendid views and panoramas. A little dated hotel, it deserves major renovations.

Hii friends, i visited this hostel last week. The hostel is actually at a very nice location and near to some of the historical places (San Gimignano and Wine Yards). The rooms were CLEAN enough and lockers to keep your stuff was also much spacious. Bathrooms, the most important was also clean although a little space to shower was more complicatedbut adjustable if you spend one or two nights atleast...

Vibe of the hostel was great, travelers were all very friendly and congenital without it being a "party hostel" and the rules were lax. The showers were pretty poor though and in order for the rooms to be cool you need to open the windows which also let's in a large amount of beetles.

It seems they mostly have four bed rooms, so while we only needed one bed ( we put two twins together) we had to extras. It'd be great for a group of friends or a family. Any wheelchair users may have problems getting around as lots of 'slopes' some of which extremely steep! Make sure to have a companion!

Walk out to the front to the left and straight get to local square with restaurants and bars, great area not too expensive!! And walk out to right, keep walking straight and come across amazing views!
