Excellent stay at this hotel! The location is ideal, just a short walk from Gubbio's historic old town, a breathtaking medieval walled city. The rooms were fantastic, and the hotel itself has a unique atmosphere, almost like staying in a museum.

I've been to the Cappuccini twice -- the first time 18 years ago on my honeymoon, and now recently on an extended family trip (with kids, parents, cousins). I was worried post-pandemic the hotel could have changed in a negative way but I'm a pleased to report that the Cappuccini is as great as ever. We were overwhelmed by the hotel. Period, Full stop, The room was large, comfortable and well furnished and the bathroom was the best we experienced during our two-week Umbrian sojourn. The spa, pool and gym facilities are astonishing! We devoured two wonderful meals with "curated" wines provided by the excellent wait-staff.

The hotel, the hoteliers, the food, the room, all of them were great. But on top of it all, I had a massage and your Masseuse was excellent. I love her service!

Pros: Nice spacious hotel. Very quite. Good indoor pool. Good gym. Every day room cleaning. Friendly staff. Ok location for travellers by car. Cons: Not very much child friendly, no playgrounds, no entertainment, some dangerous places for small kids( e.g. sharp corner in outdoor pool). No good outdoor pool for children. Not everything cleaned perfectly, some spider net on the lamp in our room. Price...

Beautiful hotel, with outstanding features (swimming pools, spa, paddle court...). Great place for us to stay and rest when driving across Italy. The restaurant was also excellent with great dishes. I would have enjoyed a bit more info when I checked-in to better understand what the hotel had to offer, but I obviously find out by myself. Overall, I can only recommend this excellent hotel!!

We have just spent a week at this hotel. Whilst the rooms are adequate the staff are superb; so friendly, welcoming and always a smile. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and have catered for us well - special thanks to MARA and GIANLUCA. The breakfast was really good and we even get one at 5:00 in the morning when we leave . Good base to see the town of Gubbio (enjoyed the cable car and views) and surrounding areas. This hotel is comfortable (yes perhaps a little dated but adequate), with a very attentive and friendly staff team. Great wifi. We enjoyed our time.

My wife and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at The Sporting hotel in Gubbio. We were a little sceptical about how the hotel would be based on some of the reviews we had seen before we departed. I would like to make it very clear that we feel the negative reviews are very unfair!! It is true to say the hotel is a little dated and the new management are aware of this and have plans to make improvements...

One of the most wonderful places surrounded by the green wild Umbrian valleys. A spectacular view of the sunset can be seen at almost seven hundreds meters of altitude. The fine restaurant, the cozy rooms, the apartments and the lovely spa will make your stay just unforgettable!

Amazing location, good service. The only thing doesn't match with amazing views and rooms is the food. Sad pasta, lamb chop just with 2 tiny mushrooms grilled , no sauce. I mean for 20€ and produce around the area they can do much better. Room for improvement.

Il Bosone palace si trova nel pieno centro storico di Gubbio ed in pochi minuti si raggiungono i monumenti più importanti. Premesso che la sala delle colazioni e lo scalone d’accesso sono spettacolari, il resto dell’hotel non è niente di che, stanze piccine e bagno cieco. Colazione discreta, ottime le dotazioni del bagno Prezzo non economico ma comunque in linea con i standard del posto

Hotel situato a pochi metri dalla piazza grande, ideale per la visita della città. Ambiente elegante, cenere accoglienti e silenziose. Una pecca alla nostra stanza è il bagno con spazi ridotti al minimo. Colazione eccellente con la sala colazione affacciata sui tetti di Gubbio.

Position was great, just outside the city centre. Free parking really close to the hotel also simplified the short stay. Staff was really helpful and gave us a lot of tips.

Perfect position very close to the town centre with secure main entrance after dark. Wheelchair users will struggle with the main entrance ramp and stair even if using the lift. Lovely room with fully equipped bathroom and interior courtyard facing balcony. Air conditioning could be stronger, during the visit temperatures reached 38 and the AC was not as strong as it should be. Fantastic breakfast...

Very good clean hotel, very good breakfast and lovely friendly staff

Central location and nice, rustic building. Rooms for four people are very small and cramped, while bathrooms are very large and comfortable. Dinner was provided in a restaurant nearby and was absolutely terrible. Breakfast was very scarse and croissants weren’t fresh.

Amazing location, right beside the Palazzo Sri Consoli in Gubbio with its stunning views. Staff are wonderful; friendly and helpful, especially Olga who served us apperitivi on the squre, even moving the chairs and table into the sun. The room was spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. Really fabulous stay.

If you are a fan of the TV series Don Mateo, you have to stay at this hotel. We were in the room that Maresciallo Cecini stayed. Beautiful room. Great hotel.

I spent my time at the hotel in June and everything was outstanding. The location is in the heart of medieval Gubbio, with a breathtaking view. The breakfast was the best I ever had, great selection from scrambled eggs to 10 types of pie. The staff was very courteous and shared great tips for places to visit nearby. It's a lovely and cozy hotel at Gubbio. I stayed there 4 nights as I was attending a conference in the beautiful town of Gubbio. The rooms are decent sized. They have 3 different buildings within the same hotel which are interconnected. Had breakfast at the hotel and no other meal there. Breakfast was decent. Great place and amazing staff! The swimming pool was a lovely plus.

The room was small but clean. We did have small black bugs in the room but I attributed it to having the windows open because it was so hot the fan didn't do anything to bring relief. I wish they had added a fridge but the space is so small there isn't any room for one. The staff was friendly and it was nice being able to enjoy the pool. The seafood was delicious but their menu wasn't very kid friendly...

The hotel is located in a strategic place to visit the city, paid parking and with a few more steps there are free parking spaces. The welcome from the owners (Andrea and Elena) are education, kindness and willingness to please the customer. Charming, with lots of space around it and in an excellent position (only 2km from the center of Gubbio), it is managed with love by Barbara and Marco. Exceptional hosts. We only stayed one night, but we found ourselves divinely. The room is a wedding favor. In the morning Barbara made us find a rich breakfast with really good homemade cookies and cakes. Characteristic room with exposed wooden beams, comfortable, clean and spacious bathroom with shower. The building is located on the edge of the historic center of Gubbio, in a very quiet spot and very close to everything. Barbara, the owner, is a very nice person and was very welcoming.

Country house a few km from Gubbio a little dated (furnishings and systems) and set on two levels with bedrooms on the upper floor, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and a point to visit Gubbio and other places in Umbria especially central eastern. However it has the essentials for a short stay.

We stayed at Casa Vincia for 4 days and found ourselves very well. immersed in the Umbrian countryside a few steps from Gubbio fresa without the need for air conditioning (in mid-June it was really hot), it allowed us to spend a nice relaxing time for us and our dogs thanks also to the private and fenced walkway and the private garden available. Nothing is missing in the house, 2 large rooms, 2 bathrooms...

Excellent holiday home to visit Gubbio and its surroundings. In the middle of the countryside, but very practical and pleasant. It has all the comforts. 5 beds in 2 rooms. Handsome

We were welcomed by the kind owner with courtesy and friendliness. The house is large, with every comfort and equipment. The interiors are pleasantly fresh and comfortable. Located a short distance from the center of Gubbio and a large supermarket. It has parking and private courtyard and free Wifi. We had our wedding reception at Castello Cortevecchio on 30th May 2023, and stayed a total of 9 nights, Luca, Andrea and Luigia couldn't have been more lovely, the rooms are beautifully rustic, the restaurant food is amazing, the surroundings are really well kept and I literally cannot fault anything. 41 of us came for our wedding in Central Gubbio and stayed here, all our friends and family absolutely...

Too bad that the economy rooms are a bit poor at the price of 65 euros .. while with just 20 euros more 85, you have a beautiful mini-apartments inside the castle (the economy rooms are located further away in a structure that is not very well kept. .
