Wonderful location, on a quiet sandy beach in a small bay. We booked at the last minute and our room was in the woods behind the main building. Many of the other rooms overlook the sea. Furnishing and general fittings are a little old style (probably eighties) but they're not in bad state. Big room, air conditioning, free water in the fridge, nice table for having breakfast outside the room. WiFi connection...

Not a bad place far from it and given the price very good value. The negatives are WiFi only available in public areas so not your room and location is quite some distance from the town.

Lacona is a great hotel reception staff fine and helpful. Restaurant staff seemed a bit surly, food for breakfast and dinner was buffet style so plenty of choice. Basic camping with minimal facilities. Small sized camping which was good for our taste though. We stayed in the safaritent of Villatent with bathroom which has the worst place on the camping. Backside you have barking dogs in the night and its just hot! Villatent without bathroom or Greencamp tents are much better situated. Very nice camping where we stayed in a bungalow. The facilities are very clean and the staff is super friendly. It's a small walk to the beach but you can also take a shuttle bus. The swimming pool is not too big but regardless never too busy which is nice.

It’s quite hard to sleep, especially for our baby. Everyday there’s this camping disco that you will hear very clearly until 22. The volume will sometimes suddenly increase, waking up our baby. Then after 22, there’s this dog living next to the campsite that barks ALL NIGHT. Apartment looked brand new. Very comfortable, quiet with tarace. Super location for visiting both sides of island. Panoramic view of the two bays. Courteous and helpful staff!

Great place with fantastic views over the bay and the islands in the distance. Ask for the exclusive places. Views and privacy are breathtaking. They have to beaches where you have to walk a bit but it‘s worth it.

This site is fantastic- the private beach is beautiful- the pool is clean and has many sun lounges. There are many walks from the site. The staff in the on-site bar are great! Unfortunately the showers and the water pressure on the site lets it down. Washing your hair if it’s long is difficult! There are some strong smelling drains at times. Or they upgrade the toilets and showers this would be perfect

Very friendly and multilingual staff, very clean and spacy sanitary areas and camping spaces. Everything was perfect and we would visit this place again! Even tho we only booked the same day (+during the peak traveling time in August!) the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful and not stressed at all. We loved every minute!

It is a great place with great services offered. You won’t miss anything. It is very family friendly. If you are looking for a quite place without entertainment, that might not be the place to be.

We had a lovely stay at this camping. The structures are nice and functional, clean and the camping owners are friendly and helpful. The location is great, with access to three different beaches and multiple hiking roads, and the view is breathtaking. The camping is all built uphills, so you will get a god workout just going up and down to the beach :-)

Absolutely great! Great staff, nice green large spots. Huge Pool, nice beach and small shop to get some groceries and a morning coffee. Loved it, definitely go back to this gem!

Just returned from Elba Island, where I spent 10 days in Lacona Pineta. And I just have to write, that I LOVE it! Beautiful, clean, kind stuff, nice swimming pool. A splendid building, a unique location, spectacular view from the room and equipped with a swimming pool with a small bar. For that alone it would be worth 5 stars. The room is very small, but very clean, organized, equipped with a smart TV (supports screen mirroring, very comfortable) and a small fridge. What a great place! The Wi-Fi now works everywhere! Rooms have been upgraded and the service is super friendly. Dinner was delicious and romantic, and breakfast is always full and fresh. The very clean and ample pool is a nice bonus too.

I take a short break in Elba each year, since I found this hotel it is my go to booking. Perfect location, old style service with a smile. It is often fully booked, if you are lucky to find a space, book. Great service with a smile from all of the staff. Cool airconditioned room that are quiet so you can sleep well in full summer. Affordable, quiet location, very clean rooms, pet-friendly (somewhat rare on Elba), and offers a nice breakfast. Some fresh fruit, okay any fruit, at breakfast would have sealed the deal for five stars.

The rooms are equipped with "basic" furnishings and accessories but are convenient and comfortable. Nothing is missing. Friendly and polite staff, always available. It gets three stars because of the service and the staff. It gets no stars at all for the rooms! We had a 'yet to be refurbished' room, circa 1980, and air con to match (unable to cope with the heat) this was probably once a great place. All amenities are tired, it could do with a full blown re- vamp. Food good, nice wines, excellent staff though.

The place is in the hills halfway between the south and north coast of the island. Surrounded by greenery and therefore s fresh. In August, even during the day, we didn't need air conditioning. Who manages lives in the residence and therefore is always ready to give advice. The rooms are large and functional.

Do you want a quiet place? This is the right one. Difficult to find the first time, immersed in a golf course, peace and tranquility are at the base, the rooster wakes you up in the morning. The evening and night air lulls you and with a glass of wine and the right company I absolutely recommend it The only problem is that it is far from the beaches.

The location is good in one respect as you get lovely views but it quite a while from the beach. The room we had was pretty small and there was never much hot water, also this brown stuff which I believed to be rust kept coming out the taps. The service was very good and the staff were always helpful.
