Not a bad place far from it and given the price very good value. The negatives are WiFi only available in public areas so not your room and location is quite some distance from the town.

The location is very nice, but it is right next to the road that leads to Porto Ferraio, and you can hear it. Small compound consisting of a few small chalets. Spacious enough for two people, however four can possibly be accommodated. 6 adults and a child stayed in the bouganville cottage. Excellent location. The only flaw is the lack of a dishwasher.

We rented the house with 6 beds plus a double sofa bed. The common areas are a bit small, because eating 8 inside is a bit uncomfortable. Luckily we got a week of sunshine and were able to eat on the veranda.

Clean, quiet apartment, ideal for families, sea view, perfect as a starting point to visit the island. And do not underestimate very kind, helpful and friendly owners. Amazing holiday.

Exactly what we were looking for, comfortable, quiet, in the countryside, outdoor space for children, terrace to eat outside overlooking the sea but away from the chaos, kindness and availability of the owner. Great place with fantastic views over the bay and the islands in the distance. Ask for the exclusive places. Views and privacy are breathtaking. They have to beaches where you have to walk a bit but it‘s worth it.

This site is fantastic- the private beach is beautiful- the pool is clean and has many sun lounges. There are many walks from the site. The staff in the on-site bar are great! Unfortunately the showers and the water pressure on the site lets it down. Washing your hair if it’s long is difficult! There are some strong smelling drains at times. Or they upgrade the toilets and showers this would be perfect

Very friendly and multilingual staff, very clean and spacy sanitary areas and camping spaces. Everything was perfect and we would visit this place again! Even tho we only booked the same day (+during the peak traveling time in August!) the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful and not stressed at all. We loved every minute!

It is a great place with great services offered. You won’t miss anything. It is very family friendly. If you are looking for a quite place without entertainment, that might not be the place to be.

We had a lovely stay at this camping. The structures are nice and functional, clean and the camping owners are friendly and helpful. The location is great, with access to three different beaches and multiple hiking roads, and the view is breathtaking. The camping is all built uphills, so you will get a god workout just going up and down to the beach :-)

Az apartman előtti kert nagyon hangulatos, sok szép növény és fűszernövények is vannak benne! A cicák is nagyon aranyosak. Problémánk volt a zuhanyzóval, 10perccel azután, hogy jeleztem a recepción jöttek is és megszerelték nekünk. A legjobb hangulatú kemping ahol valaha voltunk!

Basic camping with minimal facilities. Small sized camping which was good for our taste though. We stayed in the safaritent of Villatent with bathroom which has the worst place on the camping. Backside you have barking dogs in the night and its just hot! Villatent without bathroom or Greencamp tents are much better situated. Very nice camping where we stayed in a bungalow. The facilities are very clean and the staff is super friendly. It's a small walk to the beach but you can also take a shuttle bus. The swimming pool is not too big but regardless never too busy which is nice.

It’s quite hard to sleep, especially for our baby. Everyday there’s this camping disco that you will hear very clearly until 22. The volume will sometimes suddenly increase, waking up our baby. Then after 22, there’s this dog living next to the campsite that barks ALL NIGHT. Just returned from Elba Island, where I spent 10 days in Lacona Pineta. And I just have to write, that I LOVE it! Beautiful, clean, kind stuff, nice swimming pool. We ate here in late August on a sirocco evening. We had a great time, besides the magical and characteristic location on the beach of Margidore, great food and fantastic Vermentino di Lacona. Perfect fried foods and special first courses and good portions. Fair price. To go back!

La struttura è una dimora storica ed è molto bella. É immersa nel verde e quindi molto tranquilla. Avevamo la camera nella struttura principale, tuttavia le 4 stelle sono di tempi passati. Gli arredi sono un po’ datati, così come i bagni che andrebbero rivisti. Il letto ed i cuscini non sono proprio comodissimi, anche loro probabilmente datati, così come la biancheria. L’aria condizionata non è regolabile...

Location molto bella, ma struttura e camere datate e da rivedere. Moquette ovunque e in camera condizionatore che praticamente non funziona, e ad agosto con queste temperature rende difficile ottenere un giusto riposo notturno. Inoltre nelle camere ai piani alti i piccioni sono praticamente appollaiati sul davanzale.

I take a short break in Elba each year, since I found this hotel it is my go to booking. Perfect location, old style service with a smile. It is often fully booked, if you are lucky to find a space, book. Great service with a smile from all of the staff. Cool airconditioned room that are quiet so you can sleep well in full summer. We stayed for 6 nights for the first time in this hotel. Friendly staff, always available to provide you with useful information and suggestions on the island. The rooms are equipped with "basic" furnishings and accessories but are convenient and comfortable. Nothing is missing. Friendly and polite staff, always available. It gets three stars because of the service and the staff. It gets no stars at all for the rooms! We had a 'yet to be refurbished' room, circa 1980, and air con to match (unable to cope with the heat) this was probably once a great place. The location is good in one respect as you get lovely views but it quite a while from the beach. The room we had was pretty small and there was never much hot water, also this brown stuff which I believed to be rust kept coming out the taps. Lovely venue with very good food

The hotel resort was great, we stayed only for 3 nights but it was enough to relax and get some beach and pool time. The free taxi boat to the nearby beaches was very handy, although there are better beaches (e.g. Laicona) to go by car. In all, great experience but a bit pricey.

Loved it there. I stayed in with my boyfriend for a couple of nights and hands down it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Loved the place, the food, the people. Everything. I totally recommend it and can't wait to go there again soon.

As I was here on a little solo retreat, I really enjoyed the fact that it was within nature. A stone throw away from the beach and restaurants / beach bars. The chalet, was small but perfect ! A nice community is within this property.

Nice location, even though the camping is quite small and doesn't have many services. The bungalows' location is awesome (on the top of a small hill, with great view of the entire valley and the sea), if you don't mind walking a bit downhill / uphill to get to/from the beach. They don't accept credit cards, which is a bit lame.

Abbiamo soggiornato in una casa mobile pineta unica nota positiva è la vista mare ma solo per le prime 2. La casetta tutta in plastica aveva un cattivo odore ed è veramente piccola, nelle camere neanche lo spazio per rifare il letto. La camera con i letti singoli erano quasi attaccati tra loro.Il bagno senza bidet e doccia piccolissima con acqua non potabile che usciva marrone quindi anche per lavarsi...
