This hotel is in premium beach front location. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very clean and so is the hotel and all its amenities... The only disappointment was from the lack of maintenance and investment in this historical hotel: the garden is not taken care of at all, the hotel's restaurant amenities date back to the 80s and would benefit from a refresh and so are the rooms with old beds/decoration...

I just left the facility where I was a guest with a group. I cannot share the negative criticisms: the welcome, the staff, the cleanliness, the service in the dining room are excellent. Extreme kindness and helpfulness, knowing full well that groups are often complex and difficult to manage, no one has removed any criticism. Simple but clean, efficient, and super friendly. Superb location. A stone throw from the beach. Walking distance to excellent restaurants and even better gelaterias. The manager drove us to the airport (probably because taxis wouldn't). Highly recommended.

Excellently managed relaxing place. Cleanliness, large swimming pool for both adults and children, hot tub, barbecue area and small kiosk bar enlivened by the friendliness of the manager Davide. The property is in a great location for visiting the island.

We had a great stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, super close to the sea, with the sea (just!) visible from our balcony. The room was clean, the bathroom was well equipped, and the breakfast was fairly comprehensive. It was a shame that we weren't allowed to leave our suitcases after checkout, but I appreciate that this is a covid measure.

We have been several times in this structure in the past years .. Always very clean ...... but they should invest in both the furnishings (at least mattresses and pillows) and air conditioning ...... and improve the breakfast buffet ... Sometimes not enough for everyone .... Great location ......

Cleaning ok. Friendly staff. Very old furniture though including the air conditioner which made a crazy noise and you couldn't sleep. You could hear everything that happened in the other rooms (including bathroom, sound of alarm clocks, etc.). There was not a night when I slept well, because we could hear people coming in so much that it seemed like they were in our room. Same thing for the passing...

The 2 stars do not fully describe the value of the structure. In the center of the town, 2 steps from the sea. The rooms are furnished with old furniture, but perfectly refurbished, with new systems and windows. I would say recommended if it is at a good price

WOW, what a highlight of our 2-week trip through Italy & Switzerland. Going to Elba Island is one of the best decisions we've ever made, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay than Hotel Baia Imperiale. The absolute best of this hotel is the location and the restaurant. The latter has an exceptional quality (I’d say the best restaurant we tried in the island) with fair prices and the service is very kind and meticulous. Had a wonderful stay at Baia Imperiale. Nice room with Sea View, we opted for a Plus room which meant was relatively recently renovated. If I was being picky it was on the smaller side but no issues for us. Breakfast selection and quality very good. We were half board and had 2 dinners and 2 lunches. Good quality pizze and pinse, but the 50 euros seafood entree was ok except for the two oysters, both for me and my partner, and the tuna tartare which tastes definitely funny. We had been served an almost identical dish at Pozzo al Moro a few nights earlier and the latter’s was fresher, better dressed...
