Hotel Tritone

Friendly and helpful staff, good service at breakfast.
Newly renovated and clean but awful toilet placement as you had to have one leg in the shower to fit.
A train runs on the other side of the road and you can hear it.
20 euro private parking but there are some free ones by the road.

We returned to the Tritone hotel confident of a special stay having taken the room on the top floor with a terrace.
The first inconvenience was the air conditioning, very dated and the temperature could not be adjusted.
The terrace with a fantastic view, equipped with sunbeds and armchairs but without a roof or umbrella, compromised its use.
The day after arrival, at 1 pm the room had not yet been cleaned and after our report, the staff showed up when we were resting, assuring us that they would return later, but this was not the case.
The shower water jet was intermittent. The reason given was the high demand for water at that time.
The last point was the lack of a mini bar in the room, usually present in 3-star hotels and essential in the summer season.
All these disservices or shortcomings were recognized but not compensated in any form, even symbolic. A gesture that would have truly gone in the direction of customer care.
Excellent breakfast and overall kindness of the staff.
