Pigalle in Lido di Jesolo

nice and light room and also lovely breakfast. we could borrow bicycles and have a lovely ride around the city. you received in the price also the sun bads and umbrella on the beach.

Spent there 5 nights (2 adults and a 5 years old child). We booked it last minute, so we did not have really a choice. Overall, the hotel turned out to be okayish, but personally, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with little kids.

Pros:
- We booked half board (drinks included). It turned out that at the reservation they didn't know about that but eventually they sorted it out and we didn't have to pay extra for the drinks, so the staff was nice.
- They spoke English at the reception, they were helpful and solved all kinds of problems.
- The food was nice - both breakfast and dinner. At breakfast there is a nice selection of stuff that you can eat. At dinner you need to select what you wish to eat from the daily menu in advance, and there are all kinds of vegetables and salads that you can get. Overall, everything was delicious (except the scrambled egg).

Cons:
- The building itself is not really nice. The rooms look okay, but the bathrooms are a little less attractive.
- We had a kind of large balcony, but the outer unit of air conditioning was placed there (supplying like six rooms with cooling - so it was basically turned on 24/7). Thus half of our balcony couldn't be used because noone wanted to sit in the constant airflow generated by the air conditioning (Not to mention the noise).
- The beach view does not worth it (the extra payment). There is a small corridor where you can see a little part of the sea.
- Walls are paper thin, so if you are sensitive to noises at night don't expect long sleeps during your stay. You can hear every single word from the neighbouring rooms which is very annoying at 2 am. But I guess we were just unlucky, because after 2-3 nights (when some of the neighbors left), the room was quiet during the nights.
- People next door had a small dog and they left their pet in the room alone many times and the poor puppy was yelling till their owners finally came back. Again, it's not the fault of the hotel but the thin walls.
- The staff (except the reception) cannot speak English, not even the waiters.

Close to the beach, clean but small room. Helpful staff. Nice quiet location. Buffet restaurant with choice of menu.
