Alpina in Livigno

I would not recommend this hotel. I stayed in Chalet Garden Rododendro, which is part of Alpina Hotel. Firstly, they charged 100 euro for an ordinary cheap PVC fridge shelf, which was broken when we moved in, the chalet was overdate, it was a small, old fridge. Another issue, there were no cups for tea, we had to drink tea from the bowls. Duvet!!!, the chalet isn't cheap, for that money we didn't even have a proper duvet or blanket, it was just a bed cover. Ther apartment was very dark, there was not even proper light. The mould on the wall, the guy who introduced the apartment said he didn't notice that, is very visible in the kitchen, such a large mould takes a long time to grow, so he definitely noticed that before. Battery in the ski locker didn't work, I asked for a new one ,but they didn’t have it, he should have checked it before we moved in, so our ski box was still open. The sidewalk in front of the stairs was very icy, only our apartment, other apartments around were ok,I slipped a few times, he said that he sprinkled salt on it, strange ,because the ice didn't melt, even a little bit.so I don't think so there was some salt. Finally last issue, one person from our group was bitten, I don't know what it was, maybe bedbug or spider, four bites !!!!!, don’t think so it was a spider. The staff behave very unprofessionally, it is a shame, because the hotel looks nice and has a good reputation, but the chalets are terrible. This is how they treat their guests. Think before book this chalet.
